Disambiguation link notification for December 26
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited University Athletic Association of the Philippines, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Athletics. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hello, I'm Paper9oll. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — 🎄🎆 Paper9oll 🎆🎄 (🔔 • 📝) 16:03, 31 December 2022 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:Single's Inferno S1 poster.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Single's Inferno S1 poster.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 03:04, 15 January 2023 (UTC)
Replaceable fair use File:Kim Soo-hyun, 2023.jpeg
Thanks for uploading File:Kim Soo-hyun, 2023.jpeg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the file description page and add the text
{{Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}}
below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing<your reason>
with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable. - On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 09:29, 22 January 2023 (UTC)

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Thank you. Jalen Folf (talk) 04:57, 20 February 2023 (UTC)

UAAP Season 85 volleyball tournaments moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, UAAP Season 85 volleyball tournaments, is not suitable as written to remain published. While it appears to be notable, it needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. There are large sections which are wholly uncited. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. I did this rather than removing the uncited material in the article, which I felt would be more disruptive. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask on my talk page. When you have the required sourcing (and every assertion needs a source), and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Or feel free to ping me to take another look.Onel5969 TT me 13:13, 22 February 2023 (UTC)

Error in Pending Changes reviewing
@98Tigerius Please review carefully before you accept any revision. You made an error here where that disruptive IP with misleading edit summary of "Added information" clearly did the contrary by removing content from the lead and also moving Chuu from past_members
back to current_members
which certainly is unconstructive. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the revision has been reverted. Thanks! — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 05:26, 19 March 2023 (UTC)

Autopatrolled granted
Hi 98Tigerius, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the autopatrolled user right to your account. This means that pages you create will automatically be marked as 'reviewed', and no longer appear in the new pages feed. Autopatrolled is assigned to prolific creators of articles, where those articles do not require further review, and may have been requested on your behalf by someone else. It doesn't affect how you edit; it is used only to manage the workload of new page patrollers.
Since the articles you create will no longer be systematically reviewed by other editors, it is important that you maintain the high standard you have achieved so far in all your future creations. Please also try to remember to add relevant WikiProject templates, stub tags, categories, and incoming links to them, if you aren't already in the habit; user scripts such as Rater and StubSorter can help with this. As you have already shown that you have a strong grasp of Wikipedia's core content policies, you might also consider volunteering to become a new page patroller yourself, helping to uphold the project's standards and encourage other good faith article writers.
Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! – Joe (talk) 09:46, 29 March 2024 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Category:ZB1
A tag has been placed on Category:ZB1 indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself. Liz Read! ReferenceExpander
Just a friendly heads-up in case you weren't already aware, since it's installed on your common.js: Careless use of ReferenceExpander has caused serious problems. It's currently at MFD, and a large cleanup project is underway to repair the citations damaged by the script. I and several other users have !voted that the script be deleted or disabled, and I wouldn't recommend using it at all unless you thoroughly check every reference it modifies against the previous revision. If you're interested in a more detailed explanation of the script's issues, Folly Mox has provided an excellent summary at the MFD. — SamX [talk · contribs] 05:19, 1 June 2023 (UTC)

Unexplained Revert
Hi, thank you for your contribution in the 2023 Asian Men's Volleyball Challenge Cup. I have noticed in the past you have reverted my edits on the "see also" section of the page, citing "unnecessary". However, whether this is unnecessarily or not is not solely based on your opinion, and in fact, is based on collective agreement between the editors as per MOS:SEEALSO. The example specific cited in the MOS such as "For example, the article on Jesus might include a link to List of people claimed to be Jesus because it is related to the subject but not otherwise linked in the article" clearly is the same logic as why I am adding the article in the see also section. I will ask you to please revert your edit, unless you have some compelling reasons for such reversion. - Kazuha1029 (talk) 02:53, 28 July 2023 (UTC)
- I would further explain that my edit is fully compliant with the style guide, specifically:
- A "See also" section is a useful way to organize internal links to related or comparable articles and build the web -> which is my intention
- Links in this section should be relevant and limited to a reasonable number. -> There are only 3 entries in the see also section, this is a reasonable amount.
- The "See also" section should not include red links, links to disambiguation pages (unless used in a disambiguation page for further disambiguation), or external links (including links to pages within Wikimedia sister projects). As a general rule, the "See also" section should not repeat links that appear in the article's body. -> all of these requirements were met as the link I added was not a red link, disambuguation page, external link, and not repeated in the same article.
- Upon all these reasons, I have gone ahead to revert your edit. Again, I appreciate your contribution to Wikipedia, but going forward please do not revert without proper reasoning, thank you.Kazuha1029 (talk) 03:40, 28 July 2023 (UTC)

Concerns with your editing
Hi 98Tigerius, your editing has bought up few concerns. Firstly, you can't make up your mind like the inclusion of "time slot" and removing it later for no reason when I added to match on other articles for consistency reason. Secondly, you incorrectly replaced last=
and first=
with author=
in which the latter is actually last=
in the template coding which would display as last=
in the References editor hence literally introduced incorrect syntax into the article by merging both the last name and first name into last name. Thirdly, you incorrectly removed the viewership section with an invalid rationale of WP:FUTURE which doesn't applies here nor even relevant usage, the status quo is to include the viewership section on the day of premiere not anything before that. Fourthly, you added "present" to {{End date}}
when the template's documentation stated numbers only. Fifthly, you updated the article when the series has yet to even physically premiere while minor details, this should be avoided. Lastly, sorry to say this but kindly don't update article when you're not wellverse and/or ensure with the status quo and/or correct formatting and/or correct parameter's usage. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 11:53, 11 November 2023 (UTC)
- @98Tigerius Fyi, WP:Communication is required hence don't blank it as you have not addressed nor acknowledge the concerns raised yet in particularly on point 2 which to me, you chosen to WP:ICANTHEARYOU as I can still see that you are deliberately introducing factual errors despite in good faith telling you above, which is clearly a disruptive signs. In addition to the above, you also made changes that simply doesn't make any sense to me nor was it an improvement such as this by changing a table's width that has no issues for you to even touch it in the first place, do you even bothered checking your edits? Lastly, I do not think issuing you a warning for personal attacks against other editors is "factual errors" when this diff clearly evidenced such. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 14:03, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
- @98Tigerius As I have stated earlier, your changes to the table's width doesn't make any sense, neither do you bothered checking your edit. There is simply no issues with any of the current width, by changing it, you caused the date column to wrap instead when it isn't currently. In addition, the sizing is a standard sizing used across multiple articles hence I don't see any valid reasons for changing it. If you still refused to response nor aheld to the concerns made, I will have to report you to WP:ANI to force you to address the concerns instead since you're clearly ignoring me and the concerns listed nor willing to WP:COMMUNICATE despite it being requirement. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 18:23, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
- @Paper9oll alright noted but about the table size other user put 550px as the width (see My Demon's Viewership section and other 2023 Korean drama articles' Ratings/Viewership section). ♒️ 98TIGERIUS 🐯 03:33, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
- @98Tigerius Thanks you for the acknowledgement, I hopefully don't see such concerns being repeated. The table sizing are also formatted incorrectly in the linked articles, I have since fixed them. In which, of the 105 articles (latter link), only 10 are incorrectly formatted causing the date column to be wrapped. For general rule of thumb, use overall width of
600px
if has TNmS (example), overall width of550px
if no TNmS (Nielsen Korea with Nationwide and Seoul column) (example), and overall width of450px
if only Nielsen Korea (Nationwide without Seoul column) (example), respectively. The child column (in order of Nationwide, Seoul, Nationwide) can be formatted either to7em
or8em
, not applicable if overall table's width is450px
(mentioned in preceding sentence) as this would caused wrapping. All listed width's value are tested and verified to be working (meaning not causing any form of column wrapping) on desktop of screen sizing of 12.8 inch and above. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 13:57, 28 November 2023 (UTC)- @Paper9oll thanks for the instructions you provided, it will be useful to me in the future. ♒️ 98TIGERIUS 🐯 14:10, 28 November 2023 (UTC)

Longlisted/shortlisted
Longlisted and shortlisted nominees are no different from all other nominations. Keep them the same (red) color so readers will not be confused on why long/short is different from regular nominations, when really it isn't. ɴᴋᴏɴ21 ❯❯❯ talk 17:52, 3 December 2023 (UTC)

Ovation TV suggestions feedback
Hi! I see you’re a member of Wikipedia:WikiProject Television and I’m reaching out for help on a page I’m trying to improve: Talk:Ovation (American TV channel)#Updating this page. Would you be willing to weigh in on the suggestions I’ve made? I’d really appreciate the assistance. Thanks so much! Brennon16 (talk) 22:08, 5 December 2023 (UTC)
- @Brennon16 do it yourself and be bold, mostly the changes you want are backup with reliable sources so there'll be no problem with that. 98𝚃𝙸𝙶𝙴𝚁𝙸𝚄𝚂 03:27, 6 December 2023 (UTC)
Adding reception
Hi @98Tigerius, not sure, if adding reception (as lede and/or as section) is a new area that you're exploring. Few things to note, don't add WP:PEACOCK (i.e. "was a commercial hit
"), and don't add WP:OR content supported by WP:CIRCULAR (i.e. "Korean drama#List of xyz") when such materials isn't supported by secondary reliable sources. It's okay for Korean drama#List of xyz to WP:CALC as its sourcing directly supported each individual rows however it's not okay to use such CALC as CIRCULAR on other articles given that it's not supported by secondary reliable sources in which you're also not going to include the bunch of references used by each CALC entries to ensure content meets WP:VERIFY guidelines as it's simply impractical to do so and would also resulted in WP:REFBOMB. As per WP:ENGAGE, kindly acknowledge this message. Thanks! — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 15:43, 11 December 2023 (UTC)
- I just copyedit the paragraph I added from a related article. 98𝚃𝙸𝙶𝙴𝚁𝙸𝚄𝚂 15:49, 11 December 2023 (UTC)
- @98Tigerius Thanks for the clarification, I have copyedited the article to similarly removed PEACOCK. In addition, to updating the content to reflect whatever is stated by the source, in which, this is an good example on what I mean "
supported by secondary reliable sources
", as the Korea Herald source stated exactly that the series (at that point of time) is the "highest viewership rating among JTBC dramas" hence for this instance, it's okay to include such materials. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 15:56, 11 December 2023 (UTC)- Thank you also for giving lots of information. 98𝚃𝙸𝙶𝙴𝚁𝙸𝚄𝚂 16:18, 11 December 2023 (UTC)

Music Bank chart 2023
Hello @98Tigerius, I see that you are getting ready to nominate List of Music Bank Chart winners (2023) for Featured List status. I was wondering if you are willing to co-nominate it with me as I have helped promote 8 Music Bank related lists to featured status over the last two years. -- EN-Jungwon 15:49, 30 December 2023 (UTC)
- @EN-Jungwon of course I am, it's my pleasure. I've read your last FLC nominations for 2022 list and you wrote that it was/will be the last nominations you gonna do but now I'm glad that you will still continue it. Happy to help you in anyway! 98𝚃𝙸𝙶𝙴𝚁𝙸𝚄𝚂 15:58, 30 December 2023 (UTC)
- Ah, I was implying that I will be working on other music show articles until the end of the year. I had planned on nominating it after the end of the year since the list would then be complete. These days I'm working on getting Inkigayo lists to featured status. The 2015 list has already passed and the 2016 is under review. 2017, 2018, and 2019 are ready to be nominated and I'm working on the 2020 list in my sandbox. If you want you can help out with those lists too. I'll also be working on Show! Music Core lists. I'll take a look at the Music Bank 2023 list and do some copyediting. I also saw that you had opened a peer review for the list. I don't believe it's necessary but I don't mind keeping it open to see if anyone comments there. If you don't mind I want to nominate the list when the 2016 Inkigayo list gets one more support. -- EN-Jungwon 13:07, 31 December 2023 (UTC)
- I see then that's great. Of course you may and I will try to help to improve the list. 98𝚃𝙸𝙶𝙴𝚁𝙸𝚄𝚂 13:34, 31 December 2023 (UTC)
