Please don't undo my removal of a clearly unreliable blog source. It would definitely be a candidate for MediaWiki:Spam-blacklist. Wknight94 talk 19:42, 1 August 2011 (UTC)

Can you explain why you think it fails RS? The only explanation you gave is bleacherbumsports.net hardly sounds like a reliable source Hot Stop talk-contribs 19:49, 1 August 2011 (UTC)
"Were (sic) just a collection of 20-somethings writing about sports. Read our writing, and comment on it, im (sic) sure we will be more than happy to respond." For example, this edit comment, in addition to being a lie, would not be appropriate even if correct. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 05:48, 27 August 2011 (UTC)

Regardless of whether he's a troll on ITN, his actions in 2011 are perfectly in keeping with WP:RY and WP:YEARS. You should be more careful when straying into projects where you are not familiar with the guidelines. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 06:19, 27 August 2011 (UTC)
OWN much? Also that events totally meets three continents rule. That discussion wreaks of IDONTLIKEIT. Plus, Irene should at least be on there. That's why this project is fucked, people with agendas can't be stopped. Hot Stop talk-contribs 13:02, 27 August 2011 (UTC)
I see you don't understand WP:RY. Perhaps you can suggest a clarification. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 14:25, 27 August 2011 (UTC)
Why have rules if people can just vote to ignore anything they don't like? Virginia earthquake doesn't appear in the article even though it passes the 3 continent rule Asia and Europe. Same with Irene Europe and Asia. So why aren't they included? Hot Stop talk-contribs 23:30, 27 August 2011 (UTC)

Messing with MY post at ITN/Candidates

The whole point I have been making in that thread is about the fact that the thread title said "Iraq War ends", then Swarm said "No one's referring to this announcement as the end of the war". Since this stupidly contradicted the whole point of what I had been saying, I have every right to highlight how idiotic a comment it was. Please don't change my post again. HiLo48 (talk) 05:48, 23 October 2011 (UTC)

Request reason:

No offense but SudoGhost (talk · contribs) inflamed the situation. This warning was completely unneeded as I had already provided the sourcing he asked for. Hot Stop talk-contribs 02:58, 24 October 2011 (UTC)

Decline reason:

There may be some places on the internet where it is considered acceptable to call people "twatface", and to tell people to "fuck off" because they give a civil warning which you think was "unneeded", but Wikipedia is not one of them. I also suggest that you try reading WP:NOTTHEM. JamesBWatson (talk) 09:17, 24 October 2011 (UTC)

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

And in response, you instructed him to "fuck off" and "go do something productive", having previously instructed a user that they "[en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:In_the_news/Candidates&diff=prev&oldid=456931954 look like a child when [they] fuck with the font" - but it's okay, because somebody left you an unneeded warning message? Ironholds (talk) 03:26, 24 October 2011 (UTC)
Was there a point of leaving the message? Hot Stop talk-contribs 03:32, 24 October 2011 (UTC)
Perhaps not, but are you quite sure that was the best way to handle the situation? Your current tone suggests to me that you'll launch into more vitriolic attacks the next time something doesn't go your way, which doesn't exactly inspire confidence that you understand or care why you were blocked. – Luna Santin (talk) 06:06, 24 October 2011 (UTC)

ArbCom election 2011

Dear Hot Stop, thank you for nominating yourself as a candidate in the 2011 Arbitration Committee elections. On behalf of the coordinators, allow me to welcome you to the elections and make a few suggestions to help you get set up. By now, you ought to have written your nomination statement, which should be no more than 400 words. Although there are no fixed guidelines for how to write a statement, note that many candidates treat this as an opportunity, in their own way, to put a cogent case as to why editors should vote for them—highlighting the strengths they would bring to the job, and convincing the community they would cope with the workload and responsibilities of being an arbitrator.

In order for your candidacy to be valid, your nomination statement must also include a declaration of any alternate or former user accounts you have contributed under (or, in the case of privacy concerns, a declaration that you have disclosed them to the Arbitration Committee), and must express your willingness and ability to meet the Wikimedia Foundation's access to nonpublic data policy.

You should at this point have your own questions subpage; feel free to begin answering the questions as you please. Together, the nomination statement and questions subpage should be transcluded to your candidate profile, whose talkpage will serve as the central location for discussion of your candidacy. If you experience any difficulty setting up these pages, please follow the links in the footer below. If you need assistance, on this or any other matter (including objectionable questions or commentary by others on your candidate pages), please notify the coordinators at their talkpage. If you have followed these instructions correctly, congratulations, you are now officially a candidate for the Arbitration Committee. Good luck! Michaeldsuarez (talk) 13:00, 17 November 2011 (UTC)

Can you please look over your row on the table on the Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee Elections December 2011/Candidates/Guide page? Feel free to correct any mistakes or to fill in any missing information. --Michaeldsuarez (talk) 13:54, 17 November 2011 (UTC)

Concerning the Arbitration Committee Elections

Hot Stop,

As a candidate for the Arbitration Committee elections, please be aware that your name has been entered into the SecurePoll ballot and can no longer be removed barring the most dire of emergencies and direct manipulation of the database. While you may still withdraw from the election, your name will not be removed from the ballot, but only struck through. If you have any further questions on the process, feel free to contact myself, the other election administrators, or the election coordinators. --Tznkai (talk), 2011 Arbitration Committee Election Administrator. 21:18, 26 November 2011 (UTC)

Please take a look at this article. It includes information you deleted as unsourced from American English. I tagged it as A10, duplicating an existing article. It does cover the same subject, but includes some detail not in that other article. Do you think the new article should be deleted, merged, or what? Thanks. Edison (talk) 21:57, 2 December 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for the note. I'm not an admin, so I can't view the American Accents page, but I'd assume you meant this stuff. It seems like interesting stuff but I think it'd be better off being incorporated into the American English page. I'm not much of an expert on the topic though, I only removed the stuff because there was no source. Hot Stop talk-contribs 03:22, 3 December 2011 (UTC)

Constitution of Massachusetts

Hello, I noticed that you reverted my edit to the article about the constitution of Massachusetts; however, I don't understand why, as it was factually accurate. It is not the oldest still functioning constitution in the world, the one of San Marino is, and this is widely documented. Raskssinger (talk) 23:51, 27 December 2011 (UTC)

Not really. I don't have the time at the moment but there are sources that dispute San Marino's claim because it's not a single "constitution" (akin to the UK's). Hot Stop UTC 14:41, 28 December 2011 (UTC)
