I don't understand why my edit was deleted. Someone a long time ago made up a rumor the Elizabeth Short was seen at the Cecil prior to her disappearance but not only has the LAPD disproved this but so has author and detective Steve Hodel who's father actually committed the crime. The source listed is littered with false factoids and should be removed as a source all together.

She was seen at the Biltmore on January 9th between 7 and 10 and most people believe this to be her last known sighting but eyewitness accounts have her visitings the Chancellor, Tabu, Four Star Bar and Grill, Beverly Hills Hotel, the Chancellor again, the Rosslyn Hotel, the Dugout Cafe, and the Bus Depot on 6th and Main was the last place she was seen on January 14th at 3:30-4pm and she was abducted shortly after as noted in the autopsy report. She was never seen at the Cecil.

These are not opinions but facts that are inside of the Black Dahlia Case file with LAPD.

My sources are the case file and Steve Hodel's book the Black Dahlia Avenger II Steve's father has been acknowledged by LAPD as being the murder in the case although this is not common knowledge unless you seek it.

In my subsequent reading, I came across: "If a company is notable, information on its products and services should generally be included in the article on the company itself, unless the company article is so large that this would make the article unwieldy." Would you consider this appropriate in this situation if all content is compliant? Also, was there a redirect for "TrueNAS" at one point? I also cannot tell from the history.

I've thought about it. But it would take me away from editing articles (although I do related semi-admin stuff already) and I have observed the process eat applicants alive. Moreover, I am not sure that I want to bother to learn what I would have to do as an admin in order to pass the test. Clearly, to act as an admin I would have to learn it, but I don't need a moot challenge, only to get shot down in the RFA process. No doubt I've made persons who are not my fans in my long editing history, and I expect they would come into the daylight.

Responce to Census of Quirinius edit

Hello! You spoke to me earlier about the neutrality of my edit to the Census of Quirinius page. As far as I know, many historians have different views on the Birthplace of Jesus, however a good number (I would estimate around 30-40% at least) of Historians argue that it was in Bethlehem, due to ancestral homelands, etc. I may be wrong, but like you, I try to be as neutral as possible. Hi. I have absolutely no idea how Wikipedia edits work, and I'm not looking to become an editor. Someone, at some point, made a page about me (I'm an author) and it's now very out of date. I don't want to use it to sell anything or promote anything, but several people have pointed out to me that it contains the wrong information. I tried to put in some edits just to update the facts, but they were rejected and marked COI, with a suggestion that I put this on the talk page. I, um, have no idea how to put it on a talk page or even what a talk page is. So if this is the wrong place to be posting, I apologize! I understand why editing something about myself could be considered a conflict, but I don't know what other recourse I have. Can you advise me?

No worries; this is the first time that I've seen a false positive with the particular abuse filter. It's usually pretty spot-on. What I think happened is that the user deleted a space at the end of the line with the CSD tag, which may have triggered the edit filter algorithm to believe that the change modified/removed the tag when, in fact, it didn't. Sure, I guess... i've just been somewhat less active on Wikipedia than in the 2000s due to life requiring my attention. While I would welcome an adminship, it's not a big deal if i'm not accepted. I've been nominated a couple times in the past without success (which was fine with me as i was dealing with health issues at the time, and I was not able to give English Wikipedia the attention it would deserve of me if I were an admin). @CatcherStorm: Yes, as each of the G13 eligible go into Category:G13 eligible AfC submissions - I'll play around to get a task working and let you know, but it'll be a "if in cat, tag with {{Db-afc}}" type rule. @CatcherStorm: load pages up from Category:G13 eligible AfC submissions (Source -> Category -> "G13 eligible AfC submissions"), then go to "More" and prepend {{Db-afc}}, then to "Start" and use an edit summary of "tagging G13 draft after checking new notability". Click start and manually review each edit (checking new notability and to ensure you're not double-tagging the CSD). Make sure you review every edit as this current task will not skip if the tag is present -- samtar ^whisper 08:56, 21 December 2015 (UTC)

We should make a specific WP page called WP:Committed identity. WP:Committed identity just redirects to the Wikipedia signpost, however there is a draft for this page, but it hasn't been active for a while. I am sorry that you thought that my valued addition (which was designed to help people with tooth ache) was not 'neutral'.

The FACT that clove oil does numb the nerves and relieves tooth ache is not 'neutral' but it is *true*. If everything was 'neutral' there would be no facts!

Your 'evidence' from the FDA (the people who continue to ignore the dangers of aspartame) is terribly weak.

That being said, I agree entirely with Tony's removal of your content - Wikipedia is not for medical advice, especially when that advice has been officially rebuked by the FDA. Proposal of arbitration case

Would you like to open an arbitration case about the user Alvin? He's previously made you 'lose your shit' and he linked WP:ABF as a response to WP:AGF. He also did a very invalid AfD case and tags pages with unnecessary tags. After endless warnings, he keeps doing those exact same mistakes and even 'tweaks' information on his talk page posted by other users to make him look like the 'good guy'.
