Hello There!
Hey guy! How are ya? Just to let you know I'm back creating articles, I've got two so far Catherine of Austria, Lady of Coucy and Isabelle of Toron, let me know if there's any articles you want doing and happy easter! --David (talk) 13:54, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
- I don't plan on editing much anymore, and FYI you might want to start citing the medieval documents and sources as they are present on the Medieval land site because some person by the name of User:Fladrif has been removing all of the references from that site on wikipedia. --Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 08:35, 27 May 2012 (UTC)
Like your work
I really like your excellent work, as a matter of fact the only thing I don't like about you, as you know, is your user name. What happened to that change you said some time ago that you were planning anyway, which is a real good idea. I think User:RoyaltyChamp would be great. How's that for a friendly reminder? Sincerely, SergeWoodzing (talk) 14:54, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
- Hi, I hapened to see this when I passed by. You do a very good job here, and I especially appreciate your lists of consorts. Remember, that you have no reason at all to change your name, except if you wish to do it yourself for some reason. Best greetings--Aciram (talk) 12:55, 24 April 2012 (UTC)
I don't think so. If no one else has a problem, I am not going to bother with it, plus I'm not planning to show myself around here much now. There are too many idiots on wikipedia (not you though).--Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 08:31, 27 May 2012 (UTC)

Translations
Hey, good find with those articles, I have a bit of trouble finding articles which are significantly more detailled in the Spanish wiki than this one. I'll get to it =3 Mwheatley1990 (talk) 14:52, 13 June 2012 (UTC) Holy hell - thats a big article :D. I'll add it to the list. Mwheatley1990 (talk) 15:00, 13 June 2012 (UTC)
Sure lol, if you keep finding more, keep sending them. Next week should be more free than this one to make a good start on them. Mwheatley1990 (talk) 21:33, 28 June 2012 (UTC)

Schleswig-Holstein
Hello,
I can translate those pages about people from Schleswig-Holstein for you. It will take a while before I've done them all.
Kind regards,

- Hello,
- I've just completed those translations; House of Estridsen was the last one you added to your list.

Re: Philip of Castile (archbishop)
Hi there. Thanks for the invite to translate the page, however, I'm afraid my time on wiki these days is being taken up by another project. You'll be better off asking another translator as I wouldn't want to keep you waiting for this. Sorry :( --Gibmetal 77talk 2 me 22:01, 28 June 2012 (UTC)
- Hi, thanks for the idea and remembering me, but same here. Another priorities. Although I love the Middle Ages, so interesting, I do not like biographies, much less from Archbishops, Kings and people like that who are given too much credit than they really had. --Pedro (talk) 10:22, 29 June 2012 (UTC)
Philip of Castile (archbishop)
In response to your note of this evening, I've added the Philip of Castile (archbishop) article to the top of my list and can probably complete the translation in a week. Adamgarrigus (talk) 01:45, 29 June 2012 (UTC)
- Ah - you asked me to as well, I probably won't reach it for a couple more weeks, so I'll re-check then whether Adamgarrigus has got there first Beth Holmes 1 (talk) 08:28, 29 June 2012 (UTC)
- Although someone did an abridged translation, I'm still working on a full one, with the references carried over &c. It's almost done; just checking links and confirming some tricky vocabulary. Should be done by Monday. Adamgarrigus (talk) 00:35, 7 July 2012 (UTC)
- This is now done. I may add an ancestry box. Adamgarrigus (talk) 17:35, 7 July 2012 (UTC)

I started working on the translation you requested. My work was promptly undone. While I'm perfectly willing to work on translations, I'm not willing to fight over them, so I'll be leaving this one alone. - Jmabel | Talk 18:09, 30 June 2012 (UTC)
- I'll try to get to some of those kings. There are also an insane number of Catalan-related topics that have no English article at all. I presume you understand well why I stay out of trying to do translations where people want to have edit wars. - Jmabel | Talk 18:49, 30 June 2012 (UTC)

Adelaide-Blanche
Nice find on the Montmajour Abbey image. I just resized it to match the infobox and centered the caption. I left it where you placed it but added another paragraph of text tonight. Would you have any source or idea where the source or sources could be located for the information of Adelaide-Blanche of Anjou being buried at Montmajour Abbey? I tried several resources, most in French, and could not find it. I got a great deal of information from the book by Prof. Bachrach, ‘’Fulk Nerra’’, which I have here, but it had nothing on where she died or was buried. F de Marin de Carranrais, L'Abbaye de Montmajour. E'tude historique had some information on her involvement with that abbey but nothing on her interment. Anything you can tell me would help. It’s a nice addition and I'd hate to see it eventually deleted for lack of a citation. Thanks in advance Bearpatch (talk) 03:22, 5 July 2012 (UTC)
- I got the information at es:Adelaida de Anjou and the picture at cs:Adléta z Anjou. I don't know where they got it from but I know the Medieval Land website indicates the same information about the name of the abbey and her place of death including the reference to the monk, so I am guessing that is where the people on the other language wikipedia got it from.--The Emperor's New Spy (talk) 04:23, 5 July 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks, I'll follow up on those sites and see what I can find. Bearpatch (talk) 13:50, 5 July 2012 (UTC)

- OK, but I must tell you how much I appreciated that you used "Canute" when you created that one article. That was what was right, in my opinion. --SergeWoodzing (talk) 00:56, 7 July 2012 (UTC)
Alfonso III of Asturias
If you are going to rename all references to Alfonso, you need to rename his own page - we don't want to change links so that they are sending to a redirect. Of course, that requires a consensus that the form your prefer would be the better name for the page. Agricolae (talk) 01:59, 7 July 2012 (UTC)
- Just getting ahead of myself but lot of links to this page are redirect.--The Emperor's New Spy (talk) 02:13, 7 July 2012 (UTC)

Francis II of France translation
Hi,
I added the content related to Francis II of France from fr.wikipedia to the en.wikipedia page. This article now has redundant sections and can probably be reorganized in a better way. Also you might want to go over the writing as there is probably a lot of direct French to English translations that could be improved. Nodar95 (talk) 21:32, 13 July 2012 (UTC)

Hi! See my notes in User talk:Saddhiyama that Loheden may be Lohheide bei Schleswig. An area of many a battle over the ages. Hope it helps! Viking1808 (talk) 16:20, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
Hi Spy, I see you are renaming articles on various Brunswick-Lüneburg dukes. Please would you help me understand why you have moved:
- Otto I, Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg-Harburg to Otto I, Duke of Brunswick-Harburg? Normally the dukes of B-L are referred to as B-L-FOO where they have the same name and their princely title of FOO is then added to distinguish them. But "Lüneburg" is not normally dropped. The German article is Otto I. (Braunschweig-Lüneburg-Harburg), so they retain "Lüneburg" as well.
- Henry I of Lüneburg to Henry the Middle, Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg and not Henry I, Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg? The old name was incorrect, but we don't usually use the nickname unless it is very famous, which it isn't. --Bermicourt (talk) 06:11, 16 July 2012 (UTC)
- There is a big problem with the Dukes of Brunswick-Lüneburg as you can see on Category:House of Welf. There is no pattern here or on German wiki as you can see with Otto II. (Braunschweig-Harburg) and Otto III. (Braunschweig-Harburg). There is not one duke that follow your B-L-FOO pattern. The regnal numbers are also a problem because Henry I can refer to and was originally occupied by Henry the Admirable. I am in the middle of fixing the Magnus'. --The Emperor's New Spy (talk) 06:28, 16 July 2012 (UTC)
- Check Wikipedia talk:Naming conventions (royalty and nobility)#Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg.--The Emperor's New Spy (talk) 10:16, 16 July 2012 (UTC)
- I've replied there as you rightly raise a much wider issue with these dukes that is not at all straightforward. I stumbled into this confusing, but important, ducal line a while back, compiled a list, but got stuck as to the way forward. Someone must have sorted this out before though! --Bermicourt (talk) 18:20, 16 July 2012 (UTC)
