Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of towns in the British Virgin Islands, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page The Settlement (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

I saw that you nominated Roblox Ban for speedy deletion. While the article may not be notable, "Irrelevant" is not a criteria for speedy deletion. Natureium (talk) 20:11, 26 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sasakiopus salebrosus

[edit]

Hi, welcome to the sometimes confusing world of Wikipedia and it's rather illogical treatment of monotypic taxa. Firstly, thank you for your edit in Sasakiopus salebrosus, that's how I would have liked to have created the article. However, Wikipedia has decided that the species title on a monotypic taxon should go no lower than the generic name, unless the English vernacular name is "more notable". So European rabbit but not Oryctolagus cuniculus or Oryctolagus. I am not going to revert the move, because I agree with it personally but it goes not follow the accepted conventions on Wikipedia.Quetzal1964 (talk) 21:15, 2 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Unincorporated communities in Marshall County, Minnesota

[edit]

Hi-I asked one of the administrators to delete the Unincorporated communities in Marshall County, Minnesota that you started. There is a category for the unincorporated communities in Marshall County, Minnesota that is being used. I am not sure why you started the category. Thank you-RFD (talk) 23:00, 2 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@RFD: Hi, RFD. It was just an error, I saw that that category was not created and I decided to do it, but the category had a point instead of a comma. From this I realized after creating the category. Super Ψ Dro 08:59, 3 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Erettopterus Size Chart

[edit]

I added E. grandis, but I'm surprised that a poorly preserved species like that would be used for a GA. Has the confusion around it been resolved? This seems to be agianst the advice on previous scale diagrams that I've gotten, so that's why I'm asking. Autopatrolled granted

[edit]

Hi Super Dromaeosaurus, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the "autopatrolled" permission to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the autopatrolled right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! TonyBallioni (talk) 22:58, 8 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Circular redirects

[edit]

I have only just noticed this but when you added links to Patagonykinae and Parvicursorinae on the Alvarezsauridae article in February you didn't check where they lead. They were links which lead back to Alvarezsauridae causing them to be circular redirects. Plese can you make sure that the link does not redirect back to the article you are linking from in the future. Lavalizard101 (talk) 17:26, 20 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I know, I did it intentionally. I think all clades in taxoboxes should have links, regardless of whether their page is a redirect. Anyway, that was months ago. Super Ψ Dro 17:34, 20 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Pajanelia longifolia

[edit]

Hello

I recently noticed your edits to the page I made which I appreciate. Despite this, I noticed you classified the page Pajanelia longifolia as referring to the genus. I'm slightly confused, as pajanelia longifolia is not a genus but a monotypic species within the genus pajanelia. If you wish to classify the page as referring to the genus, or both the genus and the species as one entity, then that's logical. But there's already a page devoted to the Pajanelia genus which links to our page Pajanelia longifolia, also classifying it as a "species". I'm not sure who's wrong here, although I wish to seek the truth from this matter. Does the page in question need to be separate from the genus page, and consider itself the "species" page, or does the old page need to be removed?

Thanks, Rus. RussianAfroMan (talk) 08:37, 16 July 2018 (UTC) russianafroman[reply]

Hi, RussianAfroMan. I forgot to put it in the edit summary. When a genus has only one species, the name of the page should be changed to that of the genus. This is one of the Wikipedia policies, as you can see in Wikipedia:Naming conventions (fauna)#Monotypic taxa. That edition was the "preparations". I have already asked that the title of the page change here. Super Ψ Dro 08:44, 16 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. That makes sense, it shouldn't have been created as two separate entities in the first place. I just saw that a page was missing and created one. Obviously I'm still new to Wikipedia, and I'm still reading into the fine details. I appreciate your edits to the new page. RussianAfroMan (talk) 08:50, 16 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

No problem, we've all had similar beginnings. And do not feel guilty, the one who did it wrong was the creator of the page of the genus by not fulfilling that convention. Super Ψ Dro 08:56, 16 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
