The View EP
Yes, I've noticed the requests for justification. Haven't had the time to do it so thanks!. I scanned in The View EP originally from the CD but later switched to the version at http://www.theviewareonfire.com/_graphics/releases_cd.jpg (official web site). Citizensmith 15:18, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image (Image:The Dykeenies - Clean Up Your Eyes.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:The Dykeenies - Clean Up Your Eyes.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 18:49, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

I'm not sure I understand the reasoning for the CWF to be deleted from Wikipedia. There were other links to other sources but they seemed to be continually removed. There are also references to the CWF on other Wikipedia pages. Can you clarify for me? Jdblundell 21:38, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

WP:AIV
Thank you for making a report at Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, administrators generally only block users if they have received a recent final warning (one that mentions that the user may be blocked) and they have recently vandalized after that warning was given. In this case, the IP has not edited for well over 30 hours. Thank you. ELIMINATORJR 00:51, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
On the WP Talk page
I have deleted a reply you gave to Mgturtle about dead wrestler's widows etc..., and refactored the discussion to include it with the previous discussion, just to make sure all the info stays in the same topic and doesn't sprout off into two parallel topics about the same thing. Hope you don't mind. Darrenhusted 22:06, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

Shared IP note
Hi, thanks for the note and the vandal-whacking! I'm using twinkle, which automatically adds the blurb to IPs' pages. If you haven't got twinkle you should get it, it's really helpful. It gives you three kinds of rollbacks, and lets you warn without typing templates, just by clicking. If twinkle was a person I'd marry it! Let me know if you need anything. Peace, delldot talk 02:06, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
- Oh yeah, I just tried it in IE and it didn't work. :( Sorry. Maybe you could make a separate template for the text and use it with the warning templates. Peace, delldot talk 15:04, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
TUGS Editing response
In respose to you message about that "TUGS Ltd." edit I've never heard of Clearwater Productions use that title before so I thought it was one of those IP's Spamming up the TUGS page as usual. Is it possible to find a list of all the pages that link to a certain page. I've noticed alot of your edits recently have been renaming links. Do you trawl through wikipedia or is there a way of finding out? Cabe6403 18:04, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, their is in fact a wonderful button that does this for you! [[Special:Whatlinkshere/insert page name here]] is one of the many wonders of this great website. you can find it over there on the side panel <------- so just click it when you are on the page you want. It'll even tell you pages which link to redirect pages which link to the page. So basically you get a whole load of nice things! Its brilliant.
people should look at the side bar more often, there's really quite a lot of overlooked pieces of brilliance. Regards, SteelersFan UK06 19:01, 2 September 2007 (UTC) - D'oh I never even thought to look there Cabe6403 19:20, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

The Dykeenies
The "defaultsort" template changes where the article sorts alphabetically in the category list, in the same way as adding pipetext to the category link does (except that you can add the defaultsort template just once, whereas if you're pipetexting, you have to add the pipetext to each category separately). Without it, The Dykeenies would list under the letter T, because that's what the article title itself starts with — adding {{DEFAULTSORT:Dykeenies, The}} sorts it under the letter D for Dykeenies instead. Bearcat 05:38, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
- The defaultsort template doesn't change how the page name appears, just what letter it gets listed under. For The Dykeenies, for example, the link itself still appears as "The Dykeenies" instead of "Dykeenies, The" — it just lists under D instead of T. Bearcat 17:40, 3 September 2007 (UTC)

Live Edit Counter
Hey, I found a way of having a userbox that updates itself on the number of edits you've made.
Go to your Monobook.js page and add:
// User:Henrik/live-edit-counter importScript('User:Henrik/js/live-edit-counter.js');
And add {{User:Henrik/ubx/User contrib|<edits>|<Username>}} to your userpage.
Voila, a counter that updates the moment you make and edit =D
Cabe6403 12:15, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
Leave the "<edits>" bit as it stands to make it live, don't replace it with a number =) Cabe6403 15:44, 3 September 2007 (UTC)

Heh... I don't know if I qualify for your *best* friend, but I certainly like American football (go Packers!), and like what I've seen of TUGS (I'm on the wrong side of the pond to have seen much of it). We certainly have a common foe in the anonymous jackass who keeps changing the TUGS airdates. He does similar things on a couple of pages on my watchlist and I've taken a liking to looking at all recent edits by the offending IP and undoing the undocumented nonsense. The Pro Wrestling Collaboration of the Week for November 11 - November 17 is World Wrestling Entertainment. Please help to improve it to match the quality of an ideal Wikipedia professional wrestling related article. The next article for collaboration will be chosen on Sunday, November 18. From the Editor
Welcome to the inaugural edition of the WikiProject Professional wrestling newsletter! I hope this will be a good source of news to those people interested in what's happening around our pro wrestlimg community. I plan to release it every Sunday. This newsletter will just be a way to get the community announcements to people who don't have the time to check the mesageboards, as well that to those just curious about the news. The newsleter will consist of a project news section (to do with what's happening on Wikipedia), and a current events section (relating to news in the "real world"). The newslette will also contain the Collaboration of the Week announcement. That's all. If you have any feedback or suggestions, please post them at this talk page. Welcome to the second issue of the WP:PW newsletter. We apologize for the delay. There was an issue regarding the delivery process. Anyways, we had a lot of good feedback for the last newsletter. We not only received feedback at the newsletter's talk page, but I also received some messages on my talk page as well. Thank you to those who responded. The only complaint we received was about typos, and we will try our best to keep the newsletter error-free. Please continue to offer feedback and new ideas for the next issue. The more we have, the more we'll know how to improve the newsletter. Again, thanks! Contributors to this Issue:

If you would like to submit a question for an interviewee, please do so by following the instructions here. We are accepting questions for any future interviews. The first interview will be published in next week's issue, and will be with TJ Spyke. In other matters, we are still running low on current events. If you know of any in the wrestling world that you believe merit mention in the newsletter, or wish to comment on any other aspect of the newsletter, then please contact us here. Image copyright problem with Image:Air Traffic - Just Abuse Me~Charlotte.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Air Traffic - Just Abuse Me~Charlotte.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's escription page for each article the image is used in.
- That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.
This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --00:27, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
