Your rollback request

SteelersFan UK06, I have granted rollback rights to your account in accordance with your request. Please be aware that rollback should be used to revert vandalism/spam/blatantly unconstructive edits, and that using it to revert anything else (by revert-warring or reverting edits you disagree with) can lead to it being removed from your account...sometimes without any warning, depending on the admin who becomes aware of any misuse. For practice, you may wish to see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback. Good luck. Acalamari 20:45, 7 November 2009 (UTC)

White Lies

The collaboration is on as of Thursday morning; I'm sorry, I'm often a day behind updating it. I'll try to help you as much as I can with the page. WesleyDodds (talk) 11:55, 27 November 2009 (UTC)

I did a quick overview of the page and there's very little I feel I can do directly at the moment. However, I have a few comments about the article. Are you willing to open another peer review so i can list my comments? WesleyDodds (talk) 12:06, 27 November 2009 (UTC)

RE: "White Lies at Barfly" image (from Commons)

Nope, Elz on Flickr was. I'd probably ask her. It's in Brighton anyway, and the timing of it (Feb 2008) suggests it was when they were a little obscure (if memory serves they got big toward the end of 2008). But yeah, ask her. :)  GARDEN  14:21, 27 November 2009 (UTC)

I don't know, I can't imagine she is - I don't have anything to do with the image other than finding it on Flickr under a free license. :/ Sorry.  GARDEN  17:46, 29 November 2009 (UTC)

Your contributed article, Interpol discography

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Interpol discography. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as yourself. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Interpol. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will to continue helping improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Interpol - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Halestock (talk) 08:59, 13 December 2009 (UTC)

Regarding the MTV2 Award

Normally for MTV Video Music Award articles, the policy is to link songs only when they have an article (which is different from other award show articles). I guess if there is a section on a song at an Album or EP article it could be linked to that section, too. In general, though, the link should give the reader more information about the song and video, so linking to the album or EP isn't really that much more helpful. (Plus, it gives other contributors an incentive to make new articles of songs that are still missing them). I hope this answered why I decided to un-link the song. Best. --Andresg770 (talk) 16:26, 19 December 2009 (UTC)
