Orphaned non-free image (Image:Gurren.gif)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Gurren.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 21:48, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Bakusaiga.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Bakusaiga.png. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. M7?

[edit]

With respect, if you have a source for the M7 comment, please add the source with the information, otherwise it's an uncited trivia addition. Thanks TheHYPO (talk) 04:08, 31 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Elevens

[edit]

Hallo. Why does the word "Elevens" redirect to "Japanese people"? I followed an internal link from the list of solitaire card games and instead of going to the card game Elevens I came to Japanese people! Chris Martin (talk) 14:30, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It doesn't. I typed in the word elevens and it went to the card game. 82.12.1.173 (talk) 15:57, 12 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"Fujyoshi"?

[edit]

I happened to notice, through Malkinann's edit on the List of Genshiken episodes page, that you moved the fujoshi page to "fujyoshi". Your justification for this was that the latter is a "more accurate transliteration", but that is neither true nor in accordance with the Manual of Style on transliterating terms from Japanese. You really should have consulted someone else before making this move, since now it has to be undone... --Julian Grybowski (talk) 14:30, 19 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Problems with upload of File:Rinne bg.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Rinne bg.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or provided a license tag. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

To add this information, select the appropriate license tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the information to the image's description. If you can't find a suitable license tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 20:05, 21 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have declined your G10 speedy on this redirect - it seems to be a nickname in use for the guy, and I am not convinced it is an attack. I'm not at all familiar with the wrestling world, but I gather Lesnar is an eminent figure, and it could be that to call someone "the black Lesnar" is even a compliment. Take it to WP:RFD if you like, to get some more opinions. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 12:18, 31 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
