Deadliest school shooting in U.S. history

[edit]

I notice there are no references to this in the article, but it seems like a noteworthy distinction among the numerous historical school shootings in the U.S. Master of Time (talk) 03:50, 21 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism

[edit]

I just reverted some minor vandalism. Someone changed the first sentence to: "The Victoria Tech shooting was a shooting that occurred on February 5, 2020, at Los Leones 2015, Providencia, in Santiago, Chile. Christian Flores, an undergraduate student at the university..."

I hope this is just a prank. Just in case it is not: is there some precedent on Wikipedia how to react to this? I guess this is not the first time such a thing has happened. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kaffeekantate (talkcontribs) 16:14, 4 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Verb Tense Issues

[edit]

The main body of the article focused on the attacks wildly fluctuates between past and present tense, as well as formal and casual language. Unsure what direction to take it, but my familiarity with similar timelined articles is to use present tense (Person then walks to so and so and does so and so). I might come back when I have more time and rework things, but if anyone else wants to take the time, I think the body could benefit from some tweaking Equirax (talk) 18:10, 14 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, looking through the article again, it is RIFE with typos and poor grammar. I read this page a few months ago and everything is fine, there is a lot of cleaning up that needs to be done. Equirax (talk) 19:50, 14 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Okay I looked through the revision history, an anonymous editor did a complete rewrite of much of the section I’m talking about. I’m on mobile so I don’t know how to revert edits, but the November 11th revisions are awful Equirax (talk) 19:53, 14 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Seconded. The entire body is a mess, it reads like a high schooler wrote it. Too many intermediary edits have been made, so someone will have to undo all of this manually 23.240.245.227 (talk) 23:25, 18 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I edited the entire article to alter the past and present-tense issues on the 24th of November. I decided to apply past-tense in the article as I have seen it used in other historical articles, but if you would like to change it feel free to. I found the way it was previously structured to be abhorrent. Really bloody poor effort on behalf of whoever had been editing it. N2O Calico (talk) 00:09, 5 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Confusing answer

[edit]

Motive of cho are possibily retaliation to bullying , misantrophy, and mental illness Is there any instance that this shoot is retaliation to misantrophy and retaliation to mental illness. This is confusing because the motice states he retaliates to three things not one. 2404:8000:1027:85F6:895F:B539:A4E:C2ED (talk) 06:20, 24 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I am more confused by what you are actually asking? Equirax (talk) 23:07, 25 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
