Information icon Hello, I'm FDW777. Your recent edit(s) to the page First Minister and deputy First Minister of Northern Ireland appear to have added incorrect information, so they have been reverted for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. FDW777 (talk) 17:39, 6 August 2021 (UTC)

The First Minister does not get a suffix. Previous people who have held the position, in particular Arlene Foster and Peter Robinson, have the suffix The Right Honourable not as a result of being First Minister but due to their separate appointment to the Privy Council. Honorifics

Hi, Spf121188.

I've always believed that Wikipedia should provide as much information as posible (with a comfortable and organized display, of course). As so, I think honorifics are something that also helps a lot to understand the context of the life of a person, and you're right: adding them to Wikipedia is not promotion or a point-of-view: it's simply history. Nevertheless, some people today think that they're allowed to censure and change history based on their feelings or opinions. I added the honorifics of Augusto Pinochet and Salvador Allende (two antagonists in Chilean history) and I defended the use of them in Pinochet's article. I would do the same to defend Allende's honorifics because their right to use them does not rely on our thoughts about them, but on history and law. Anyways, there are some rules about the style Wikipedia should have, and many editors use them as arguments to retire honorifics (I say this with respect and not trying to presume bad faith), so remember there are some general rules that can be applied in the case of honorifics and maybe their retire can be justified. I don't know the arguments used to remove Mussolini's honorifics, but of course that if those are based on opinions, honorifics should be re-installed. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2021 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:56, 23 November 2021 (UTC)

Reliable entertainment sources.

Is Screen Rant considered a reliable source? Because one article there says that Sony and Marvel may be working on a “secret” fourth Spider-Man film despite no official announcement. I just want to know if I ever try putting something like that on there I just would like to know. I don’t know any administrator to ask so don’t be mad at me for asking please? 0Detail-Attention215 (talk) 06:44, 11 December 2021 (UTC)

0Detail-Attention215, No need to apologize, I appreciate you reaching out before making changes to be sure, that’s what helps make better editors! Screen Rant typically isn’t a reliable source for this sort of information, but more importantly, WP doesn’t include information in articles without official announcements, and rumors/secrets are never reliable. You’ll want to wait for an official announcement from a reputable, reliable source before including information in any article. Let me know if you have any other questions! Hello, Spf121188,

There is a CSD tag on this draft saying that you wish it to be deleted. If this is not your wish, please come to my talk page and let me know and I'll restore the page. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 22:00, 18 January 2022 (UTC)

Hello @Liz:! Thank you for the message. I was actually unaware that I was able to publish pages without going through the AfC process, so that's why I requested the draft page to be deleted. It looks like the page was reviewed already and all is good. Thank you again! Spf121188 (talk) 22:02, 18 January 2022 (UTC)

Shepherd Rams football articles

Spf121188, thanks for your efforts on those Shepherd Rams football articles. If you could adopt a few formatting practices, that would be very helpful.

  1. Use Template:Cfb link when referring to opponents; this template makes sure that wikilinks point to most relevant article available, whether than be a specific team season article, a program overview article, or something more general.
  2. Punctuate scores and won–loss records with en dashes, not hyphens; see WP:DASH.
  3. Employ the source column in schedule tables so that numerical data like rankings, scores, and attendance in particular doesn't get cluttered with reference notations, which can reduce ease of reading.

Check out my edits at 2013 Shepherd Rams football team for examples of all these points. Let me know if you have questions about this stuff. Thanks, Jweiss11 (talk) 17:42, 3 February 2022 (UTC)

Jweiss11, thank you for the message! I'll work to employ all of these points as I continue to work on Shepherd articles. I appreciate your help! Spf121188 (talk) 17:55, 3 February 2022 (UTC)
Jweiss11, I'm sorry to bother you, but can you check out the page I just published, 2005 Shepherd Rams football team to make sure I followed the above guidelines? I only used the CFB links in the schedule, but if they need to be throughout the article, I can fix that. I'm going through the rest of the years teams for Shepherd, and I'll get everything in line with the above. Thanks again for your help! Spf121188 (talk) 19:36, 10 February 2022 (UTC)

Newspapers.com?

Have you considered applying for a subscription to Newspapers through the Wikipedia Library? Since you do a lot of work in biographical articles and nominate a decent amount of things for deletion that wound up being kept, having a Newspapers.com subscription could benefit you on you BEFOREs. Etzedek24 (I'll talk at ya) (Check my track record) 19:19, 15 February 2022 (UTC)

Etzedek24, I haven't looked into it before, but I would certainly be open to it. The Before search I did on Marcus Houston from Google just didn't really net much, and another user posted a PROD on his page, so I took perhaps too bold of a step by nominating it, but I wanted others opinions first. Is there a particular way to subscribe through the library? I'm sure it would be helpful as you mention. Thanks! Spf121188 (talk) 19:25, 15 February 2022 (UTC)
@Spf121188: If something's PROD'd and you generally agree with the rationale, it's fine to leave the PROD up. If someone DEPRODs it, then you're certainly welcome to nominate it for deletion. As far as applying for access, just follow the link above to create a Library account, and find Newspapers in the database list. You should fill out a short application, if eligible, for access. It would be helpful to state that you are looking for print sources to improve sports biographies. Etzedek24 (I'll talk at ya) (Check my track record) 19:52, 15 February 2022 (UTC)
Etzedek24, wanted to send a quick thank you for pointing me in the right direction with Newspapers.com. My application hasn't been reviewed yet, but if I don't get access, I may just pay for it given that it's not super expensive. I'm confident that with that at my disposal, I won't jump the gun on AfD's... which I feel just slightly foolish about. SPF121188 talk to me contribs 17:08, 18 February 2022 (UTC)
It can take some time, but it may save you the money! Etzedek24 (I'll talk at ya) (Check my track record) 18:19, 18 February 2022 (UTC)

I have removed the {{proposed deletion/dated}} tag from Jeff Atkins (American football), which you proposed for deletion. I'm leaving this message here to notify you about it. If you still think this article should be deleted, please do not add {{proposed deletion}} back to the page. Instead, feel free to list it at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. Thanks! Alabama 2006 season

Hello. Noticed this revert. Thank you for restoring, but I still have some uncertainty. I brought this issue up at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject College football#Alabama 2006 season and got no response. --DB1729 (talk) 18:19, 15 March 2022 (UTC)

Hello DB1729! Thank you for letting me know. I noticed the IP address that kept reverting was trying to use WP as a source for their version, which is the main reason I reverted back to your version, and left them a talk page message. I'm a little surprised you haven't gotten a response on that, but since you had a reliable source for Alabama's record that year, I figured it should stand for now until a possible consensus can be reached to change it. I'll keep an eye out for any responses. Thanks again for the message, cheers! SPF121188 (talk this way) (contribs) 18:29, 15 March 2022 (UTC)
That's fine. We'll see what happens. If it gets reverted again maybe I will try starting another discussion. Not sure where would be better though. Talk:Alabama Crimson Tide football looks even less active. --DB1729 (talk) 18:39, 15 March 2022 (UTC)

Rollback

Hi Spf121188. After reviewing your request, I have enabled rollback on your account. Please keep the following things in mind while using rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle or RedWarn.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into trouble or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! FASTILY 01:51, 12 April 2022 (UTC)

Re: Vandalism on Soborno Isaac

Hello Mr. Forrest. I saw that you recently reverted a change on the Soborno Isaac Bari page for vandalism. Not only do I agree with your change, but furthermore, the editor Praxidicae has violated Wikipedia's Wikipedia's 3RR Rule, by reverting edits on one page at least three times in a 24-hour time period. Furthermore, that editor has repeatedly nominated the page for deletion, claiming that the subject of the page is not a "7 year old Professor", even though the page does not mention that. And even though the subject of the article is the Honorary Mayor of Little Bangladesh, Los Angeles, this editor took the liberty of going to the Little Bangladesh page and remove not only the subject's name, but also his citation, whilst citing "lol no". Finally, he wrote that the subject of the article is a "joke and hoax," which is derogatory language unfit for Wikipedia. I would appreciate it if you could Google the subject and take appropriate action. — Preceding unsigned comment added by AnonMan64 (talkcontribs) 18:58, 18 April 2022 (UTC)

Hello AnonMan64. I see that you already reported this to the Administrators noticeboard, so you'll want to let the process play out there. As I'm not an administrator, there's really nothing more I have the ability to do. If you have any other questions or any way I might be able to help you out, let me know and I'll do what I can. Thanks for the inquiry and have a great day! SPF121188 (talk this way) (contribs) 19:14, 18 April 2022 (UTC)
Thank you for the response. I believe this page is worthy of publication, as the sources are well-vetted. However, it suffers from vandalism from external individuals. For instance, multiple individuals have written sentences without grammar on the page, and one editor noted that "this is not facebook." I was wondering whether you support the publication of this page. AnonMan64 (talk) 19:20, 18 April 2022 (UTC)

The UAA of double sowing

I think what the rule actually says is not to warn and report at the the same time. Some admins will block despite the user name "being discussed." Depends on who is patrolling UAA, fatigue/burnout levels, phase of the moon-- stuff like that. But no, given the egregiousness of that user name, reporting was not unreasonable. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 23:18, 18 April 2022 (UTC)

Deepfriedokra, I appreciate the clarification! I wasn't 100% sure, but the username in that situation seemed to be a little more on the disruptive side, so I figured to report it and see where that went, I just didn't expect the next few comments afterward lol but, I try to err on the side of caution. I totally understand all the other variables, including phase of the moon (lol) but either way, thanks for following up! I appreciate your help/guidance! Dear Spf121188, I removed a quote which has no source. It was the quote of the "AOK" - in the German version, there was a false internet-link. I am indeed new here, but Wikipedia quality guidelines forbid quotes which do not have a source. So I suggest to remove the AOK-quote. Question

In the Malcolm London article there seems to be a conflict that violates BLP. Please advise. — Preceding unsigned comment added by GenZXY (talkcontribs) 17:05, 22 April 2022 (UTC)

April 22 2022

Hi sorry just getting used to using Wiki. Thank you for your response. I noticed this articled stated the subject had been arrested for sexual assault allegations and I could not find a reliable source beyond tabloids or twitter posts. I replaced a section with the BLP source code in an attempt to rectify. Please advise. GenZXY (talk) 17:19, 22 April 2022 (UTC)

GenZXY, I took a look at the sources included in the article, and I don't see any BLP violations in it. I'm also not very well versed in what a BLP violation would be, but the sources seem to support the content in the article. It looks like you've started a discussion on the talk page; I would continue to try and discuss it there. Thanks! SPF121188 (talk this way) (contribs) 17:34, 22 April 2022 (UTC)
Material about living persons added to any Wikipedia page must be written with the greatest care and attention to verifiability, neutrality, and avoidance of original research.
Editors must take particular care when adding information about living persons to any Wikipedia page. Such material requires a high degree of sensitivity, and must adhere strictly to all applicable laws in the United States, to this policy, and to Wikipedia's three core content policies:
We must get the article right. Be very firm about the use of high-quality sources. All quotations and any material challenged or likely to be challenged must be supported by an inline citation to a reliable, published source. Contentious material about living persons (or, in some cases, recently deceased) that is unsourced or poorly sourced—whether the material is negative, positive, neutral, or just questionable—should be removed immediately and without waiting for discussion.
The section on is poorly sourced if you actually read the article. Previous versions of the article do a better job explaining the sensitive nature but appear to be COI. Yhe current post simply states false information. The subject appears to have been called out on social media. I could not locate any sources reference any arrests for sexual assault. I've suggested edits but it seems the other editors are bias. GenZXY (talk) 17:45, 22 April 2022 (UTC)
GenZXY, I would go to the talk page of the user who responded to your edit request and point this out to them there. Or, submit another edit request, and format it in a way that says something like "Please change X to Y." This way it gives them a black and white change, easier to understand. SPF121188 (talk this way) (contribs) 17:52, 22 April 2022 (UTC)
Thanks for the advice. I've already done so but will keep trying. GenZXY (talk) 17:59, 22 April 2022 (UTC)

That's great to hear. I've reviewed your use of the rollback tool and am granting it to you indefinitely, since your trial is about to end and I cannot find fault with your use of it. One thing I would say, however, is that some material you have reverted should be deleted from page history: there is some information here on how to request it. As for what is generally deletable, I have written a long explanation of each of the criteria. There is also the "standard" list at Wikipedia:Revision deletion/examples. Sdrqaz, thank you! I always try to walk the line as efficiently as I can, only using the Rollback function for obvious vandalism, otherwise using Twinkle. I will read and study the links you left here about deleting information from page history and keep that in mind as I work. Thank you again and I will reach out if I have additional questions! Hi Spf121188, I'm not sure which part of "no citations" is "unexplained"... ~ ToBeFree (talk) 21:43, 1 June 2022 (UTC)

ToBeFree, Yes, I noticed this a few minutes after it was removed again. All I saw was that this information was removed and restored, and the IP that initially removed this information was blocked. I admittedly did not look close enough at this and should have, which is 100% my fault. It just looked bad that a brand new account was following a blocked IP in removing the same information. Moving forward, I'll be sure to look much closer at issues like this so I do not make the same mistake, but I'm only human. Thanks for the message, I hope you have a great night! SPF121188 (talk this way) (contribs) 23:07, 1 June 2022 (UTC)
No worries 🙂 Yeah, the IP was indeed blocked, but the block was reversed now. I also guess that in 99% of similar content removal cases, it's just vandalism. Identifying the 1% can be tough. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 17:08, 2 June 2022 (UTC)
Thanks again ToBeFree! I've found out over the last few months that indeed, the 1% is difficult to identify, but it's definitely something I'm working on :) SPF121188 (talk this way) (contribs) 17:11, 2 June 2022 (UTC)

Dallas Times Herald - Mike Goldman

I’m new here to editing, but you just restored an inaccurate link to Mike Goldman on the Dallas Times Herald page for Mike Goldman. The Australian actor you linked is not the person that was on staff at the Times Herald. I was on staff at the Times Herald with Goldman, we worked in the same department. He is currently editor of Scout Life magazine. Maybe I should have not linked to Scout Life staff web page, which lists Mike. However, Mike has never been an Australian actor. He is a native of Texas. Crumblindown (talk) 15:59, 8 June 2022 (UTC)

Hello Crumblindown, thanks for the message! Yeah, the main issue I had was the external link to the subjects' staff page. You can remove the link that directs to the actor though, that would be fine. Thanks

I couldn't reply as HelperBot immediately deleted the thread at WP:UAA], but actually I've sided with you a bit more, to be frank. I felt it was easier for us and for them if I were simply to 'soft block' TH and invite them to create a new account, which I hope they'll do. I'm not keen seeing unblocked but abandoned usernames on our editor lists, so it makes sense to soft block. My apologies if I sounded a bit shirty - that's because I often see a UAA report, and then find a discussion template left with that user, too and feel my time was perhaps wasted at that point . Anyway - all sorted now. Regards, Nick Moyes (talk) 16:26, 15 June 2022 (UTC)

Thanks for the message Nick Moyes! There's no need to apologize at all, I'd rather get that kind of feedback so I can continue to make more informed decisions when it comes to UAA or AIV, since I do spend a decent amount of time through them. Wasting an admins' time is the last thing I want to do, and in this particular case I certainly could have waited a little bit longer before reporting. Either way, I do appreciate it and I'm sure I'll see you around! SPF121188 (talk this way) (contribs) 16:29, 15 June 2022 (UTC)

I hadn't noticed that it was you who removed your own speedy deletion nomination. Thanks for doing that. I agree with you that the original version of the page, with the links, wasn't a good idea, but I would probably have just removed them and posted a message to the editor about them, rather than deleting the whole page. Anyway, the most important thing is that we evidently agree that the current version is OK. JBW (talk) 13:58, 16 June 2022 (UTC)

Hi JBW! Yeah, when I noticed the links were removed from their userpage, I removed the tag, and even then I figured I probably should have just left them a message on their talk page rather than applying that tag. But yeah definitely on the same page! I'm sorry if my response seemed a little... for a lack of better words, bit**y, I didn't mean it to come out that way at all. That kind of feedback is actually what I prefer to see so I can continue to improve! And yeah... I saw the fly on somebody else's talk page a while ago.. and the first time I saw it, I actually flicked my computer screen. Couldn't help but add it on mine! Thanks again for the message, see you around the battlefield! SPF121188 (talk this way) (contribs) 14:06, 16 June 2022 (UTC)

Built Ford Tough Offensive Line of the Year

Hi Spf121188,

You'll probably see my edit, I just noticed that you removed this award from John Sullivan in January. Did you want me to remove the addition, being that it really shouldn't be there?

Honestly, it doesn't matter to me. I saw that three of the five players that year had that accolade listed. Even Jason Kelce was the only one from a prior year.

I'll gladly remove all that I see.

Sorry for not looking at the past history before the edit.

Thanks, Bringingthewood (talk) 04:00, 17 June 2022 (UTC)

Hello Bringingthewood! Thanks for the message! If I remember right, the Built Ford Tough Offensive Line of the Year award typically shouldn't be included in a players Infobox, as it's usually reserved for awards that come from the AP, or other nationally recognized individual awards. I believe there is some guidance on what generally should be included. Hey man im josh has helped me with this in the past and he can probably assist with this better than I can, if he doesn't mind :) SPF121188 (talk this way) (contribs) 14:13, 17 June 2022 (UTC)

Why did my edit get reverted?

It's correct. (I know you weren't the one who the reverted but I feel like I should still ask you.) Tronyboy03 (talk) 18:46, 27 June 2022 (UTC)

Thanks for the message, Tronyboy03! I'm not sure why it got reverted, because I think that is correct. It could be because Stein isn't officially credited in the cast for the appearance, but is still attributed on his own article. Usually, if a user reverts an edit, they should leave you a message letting you know why, but in this case your edit was clearly made in good faith, and I'll assume that's what Darkwarriorblake was thinking. I'll let them reply to this so that you can understand what it was, and I'm sure they can give a better answer than I can. Thanks again! SPF121188 (talk this way) (contribs) 18:51, 27 June 2022 (UTC)
Actually, Tronyboy03, I just looked at the article, and under the cast section, Ben Stein is noted in the paragraph below the list of actors, so Darkwarriorblake was just trying to prevent a redundancy. I'm sure you didn't see that initially, so no big deal. SPF121188 (talk this way) (contribs) 18:54, 27 June 2022 (UTC)
Ah, Thanks for the heads up, I'll look more carefully in parts under the list of actors. Thanks! Tronyboy03 (talk) 19:13, 27 June 2022 (UTC)

Mask of Zorro

Regarding the removal of the Lawsuit section of The Mask of Zorro, I did give an edit summary. I said in the summary that the lawsuit isn't relevant to the movie, since it regards the rights to the character of Zorro and not the film, and further that the lawsuit is already covered in the article for Queen of Swords, so its purpose was at best redundant. If this summary was inadequate, apologies. I've added to the Talk page to discuss the section's removal further. 216.243.58.249 (talk) 18:00, 29 June 2022 (UTC)

I'm not really sure how a lawsuit regarding the character isn't relevant to the movie, but, the information you removed was cited by a reliable source. A lawsuit covered in two articles isn't redundant in this case, as it makes obvious sense. However, you did make a comment to discuss possibly removing it, so what you'll want to do is wait for responses before blanking an entire section in the article. Let me know if you have any questions, I'll do my best to answer them. SPF121188 (talk this way) (contribs) 18:04, 29 June 2022 (UTC)

Hey Spf121188, I unaccepted a change made to February 18. You may not be aware of this, but per DOYCITE, all additions to the days of the year pages require a direct citation, i.e., a blue link is not sufficient. This also applies to the year pages like 1988, but those generally are not under pending changes protection. Just FYI. Best, Jip Orlando (talk) 20:25, 26 July 2022 (UTC)

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}} on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Hello Blablubbs! I think this is the first time I've seen a message like this on my talk page. I see atop the message that it doesn't imply I've made any inappropriate contributions, but may I ask what I should take from this? Just want to make sure I understand completely. Thanks! SPF121188 (talk this way) (contribs) 14:46, 1 August 2022 (UTC)
Hi. As stated in the message, its sole intent is to alert you of the stricter sanctions regime surrounding biographies of living persons. The edit that prompted it was this recent revert of yours, which reinstated material that strikes me as concerning if viewed through the lense of the guidance given at Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons#Privacy of names; BLP concerns can still be valid even if brought forth by someone behaving disruptively. I can't look into the entire affair more closely right now, but I felt that it was important to notify you of the active sanctions. --Blablubbs (talk) 14:53, 1 August 2022 (UTC)
Understood, Blablubbs, I appreciate the feedback and resources. I'll read through these carefully, and I'll make sure I keep this in mind moving forward. I'm always looking to improve my contributions so I'll take this seriously, and again I really do appreciate your help and guidance! SPF121188 (talk this way) (contribs) 14:59, 1 August 2022 (UTC)

WP:UAA entry

Greetings. You made a request at WP:UAA regarding the account "TomLeeJones" [1]. @Tamzin: declined the request, noting it could be the person's real name. Tamzin's response is accurate. However, the username policy is a bit equivocal on this point. See WP:REALNAME. It's a judgment call. Some admins will block, some won't. I know you've made a lot of reports to UAA. I don't know if this was the first time you made a realname report to UAA. I just wanted to clarify that it's a judgment call, and sometimes it's appropriate to act right away, and sometimes not. Barring presentation of edits (as Tamzin notes), it can be a difficult call to block right away.

Oh, and that fly on the screen is hilarious :) --Hammersoft (talk) 15:29, 12 August 2022 (UTC)

Hi Hammersoft, and thank you for the message! Yeah, I was on the fence about reporting that one or not (as I haven't recently reported any that were in the same REALNAME category,) but decided to go ahead and do it since they had made edits to their sandbox. This feedback is very helpful though, so I do appreciate it! I've always gotten really constructive feedback from Tamzin as well, which I also appreciate! I really enjoy patrolling recent changes and usernames, so I feel like I'm getting a hang of everything much better. Thank you again for the message and I look forward to seeing you around! SPF121188 (talk this way) (contribs) 16:45, 12 August 2022 (UTC)
Oh, and also, I do aspire to be an admin someday. I'm far from being ready for that, but it's certainly something I would like to work toward. Any feedback you can give me in the future would be more than helpful! Thanks again! SPF121188 (talk this way) (contribs) 16:56, 12 August 2022 (UTC)
Looking at [2], it's not bad but there is likely room for improvement. You should never look at this with an eye towards being an admin and think "Ok, I'll just vote in non-contentious AfDs". That's really bad. Instead, comment on AfDs where you think you have a good opinion/perspective to give, and base it in well considered policy/guideline. This is a great learning tool to increase your familiarity with policies and guidelines related to article creation.
I bet this certainly made you feel welcome. :(
Looking at your deleted contributions (an admin view), I see a sea of red, with a lot of speedy deletion requests. This is good. I didn't do a spot check to see if your speedy deletion criteria matched up strongly with what the deleting admin felt the various pages should be deleted as, but the sea of red is very encouraging.
Your edit filter log shows some activity, but a cursory check didn't find anything problematic.
This was good; introspection and self evaluation are important, whether an admin or an editor.
There are a subset of RfA watchers who strongly feel that good article creation is an important aspect of being knowledgeable enough to be an admin. This was a weak area for me, though it didn't seem to have an effect on my RfA. Yours is even weaker. I dislike this metric for evaluating potential administrators. There are 6.5 million articles on Wikipedia. It can be hard to find something new to write about. I think you're doing well example. Don't get caught up in worrying about so much being evaluated as "start". The whole article assessment area of Wikipedia is a sad, sad joke. But, do think about areas where there's stuff missing that you might be able to help with. You can look around in Wikipedia:WikiProject Missing encyclopedic articles and find something that interests you. For me, as I wander the Internet I sometimes find potential topics to write about, and look them up on Wikipedia. 95%+ of the time, there's already articles on the subjects. Sometimes I find redirects to create because of that (journalists come up with all sorts of ways to refer to things that aren't, for lack of a better term, 'canon'). Example of something I just created; Elengubu. Hopefully you can find some actual articles to write.
You've shown heavy involvement at WP:UAA, WP:AIV, and speedy deletions. This is good, and plenty by itself. Consider expanding to other areas of potential interest for future admin work. Again, this shouldn't be to make yourself look better, but to perhaps expand your areas of interest for your own edification.
Have a careful look at the advice elements of the first line at {{RfA Navigation}}.
Find some flame retardant clothing and buy lots of it. You'll need it. As Tamzin unfortunately saw, even well intentioned editors (in this case, me <hanging head in shame>, and again @Tamzin:, I'm sorry) are not capable of articulating commentary in ways that don't come off as hurtful. It gets considerably worse with editors of less, shall we say, savory ethics. Stay cool, and if you can't...walk away for a while.
Find a good nominator. You could look at the history of nominations over the last few years and find the most successful nominators. I wouldn't do that. I'd look at nomination statements of various nominators in various RfAs and see which nominators feel comfortable to you. Then I'd look at this list and see if any match up. All the better if you've interacted with them before.
Wait at least another year.
Lastly, and I can't emphasize this enough; relax. Being an admin is a demotion. It really is. Editors are at the top of the heap on this project. For proof, see this. You are more constrained as an administrator, and are certainly held to a higher standard. Becoming an administrator should never be viewed as an accolade for work well done, or some sense of "I made it!". It isn't. In fact, in some ways, it's rather the opposite. My best advice in this is don't ask to become an admin until it becomes obvious to you that it is inconvenient or even problematic to not be an administrator. Over time, I was doing enough reports that having the tools would have been nice. What pushed it over the top for me was finding it difficult to act in the face of outright attacks on the project when I was available and could have done something if I was an administrator.
If you want any more input, now or in the future, let me know. I'll loop in @Ritchie333: here as a font of useful knowledge on becoming an administrator. --Hammersoft (talk) 18:37, 12 August 2022 (UTC)
The first thing I looked at was the article Spf121188 had contributed to the most, Rich Bisaccia, and their contributions consist largely of revert, revert, revert. If you ran at RfA today, I'd probably oppose and use that link as a significant reason why, so I don't think you should think about asking for administrator privileges any time soon. As Hammersoft suggests, your main goal should be to improve and maintain the encyclopaedia. If you start getting involved in heavy content creation (a good way to get friends and colleagues) and increase work in maintenance areas, and feel the tools would come in useful, that would be an appropriate time to think about them. This is likely to be several years down the line. As an example, I started serious editing (GAs and NPP/AfC work) in mid-2012, but it wasn't until early 2015 when multiple admins seriously thought I should give RfA a go. One of the reasons many RfAs are now very successful is because the right sort of candidates wait until they're absolutely sure they need the privileges. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 18:47, 12 August 2022 (UTC)
Ritchie333, Hammersoft, thank you both for providing this feedback! I really do appreciate it and it's more than useful! I will emphasize, I'm certainly in no hurry whatsoever to acquire admin tools. It's definitely a long term goal, and I'm very aware that I would need to improve content creation in diverse areas (not only in one colleges football seasons, especially since I went to school there...) but I still haven't run into a situation where I felt admin tools would have been useful for me (since we have UAA and AIV.) I spend a majority of time now patrolling recent changes and looking out for CSD examples, and that's likely what I'll focus on for a while, as well as being on the lookout for SPI abuses (I've submitted a couple SPI cases, with a mix of good cases and some where I missed a few things.) Either way, thank you both again, If it's alright I'll certainly reach out more if I have any more questions! SPF121188 (talk this way) (contribs) 18:54, 12 August 2022 (UTC)
Another piece of advice; stop thinking of being an admin as a goal. It's unlikely any great candidate at RfA thinks of being an admin as a "goal". It shouldn't be. --Hammersoft (talk) 19:32, 12 August 2022 (UTC)

Fair enough, Hammersoft! Thanks again for all of the feedback! SPF121188 (talk this way) (contribs) 19:49, 12 August 2022 (UTC)

Hello Otr500 and thanks for the message! Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 05:32, 24 August 2022 (UTC)
Hi Piotrus, thanks for leaving me a message! Yeah, I was wondering the same thing at one point. I was going through the articles that this particular user created, and I haven't PRODed or sent all of his articles to AfD yet (I've gone through them one-by-one to see if there is any notability,) and I'm using my discretion the best I can, but there are SO many articles that do appear to be either hoaxes, or subjects just have no search results come up. FWIW, the user who created these articles was confirmed as a sock account, which is why it's been worthwhile to go through them. I'll continue to go through them as I have time throughout the day :) Thanks again for the message, I'll see you around! SPF121188 (talk this way) (contribs) 12:39, 24 August 2022 (UTC)

Nithiyanandam AFD

Hi, I'm somewhat reaching out since you were also involved in Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Krtin_Nithiyanandam and I had been thinking I was a bit too abrupt in my last comment and was going to ask your opinion. But I see the SPI now so it feels a bit moot almost? Anyway, I appreciate your attention to help improve the encyclopedia and welcome any advice/feedback you may feel able and want to give. Skynxnex (talk) 14:10, 16 September 2022 (UTC)

Hello Skynxnex! Thanks for leaving me a message! I actually don't think you we're too abrupt at all. I think your comment was 100% warranted. Those two accounts were obviously created only to try and get this article deleted. I always try to assume good faith, but there's no other reason for that, and the SPI has confirmed that the two accounts are connected. I was actually thinking about the AfD, and you're right, it's basically moot at this point. I'll probably reach out to an admin for some advice, I don't want to close it procedurally and would rather it be done by an admin :) Thank you again for the message and I'm sure I'll see you around! A barnstar for you!

The Random Acts of Kindness Barnstar
I don't leave these barnstars very often (and I really ought to do so more often); I guess after 15 years of service, you tend to not be left feeling impressed as often as you did in the past. However, today I make an exception! While many users here do not believe that welcoming new editors and users to the project yields any benefit whatsoever (and, yes... if you're manually going to each new account in the user creation log and blindly sending welcome wishes to every single one of them, the potential benefit gained vs all that time you spent doing so will be extremely diminished). However, I've always taken the time to welcome each new user who creates an account and as part of the Wikipedia education program and their online course. If anything, we know that these users will be editing here; they'll tasked with learning how to navigate the site, locate important policies, and contribute to Wikipedia as part of their course. Now, onto Spf121188... I know when Spf121188 is online, because I'll be patrolling through the user creation log, find a new user with their user page created, see that they're part of the Wikipedia education program, and BAM - Spf121188 has already beaten me to welcoming them to the project. When Spf121188 first asked me about it and expressed interest, I though maybe they'd be interested for a little while If I were lucky... They'd spend time welcoming education users for maybe a week, and then fade away to somewhere else after their interest diminishes, but NO! Spf121188 has been consistently and enthusiastically welcome these new users for well over a month now, and still has the same enthusiasm as when they first asked me about it. To Spf121188, I award you this barnstar for the thankless time you spend toward welcoming these users inside, and despite knowing that it'll likely yield no personal benefit to yourself personally. However, if even just a small effort on our part makes any kind of difference to one of these users, or if it causes even just one to want to stick around and become a contributor here, then who the hell am I to tell someone that what they're doing is worthless - it isn't. Thank you for being a part of this project. You make a difference here, and more than you realize or notice. :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 19:47, 3 October 2022 (UTC)
Thank you so much for the kind words, Oshwah! I can't tell you how much I appreciate this :) I've seen in several pages/userpages that retention is vital to the long term health of Wikipedia, and as you told me when I first asked about this, student editors are (potentially) our largest source of new, enthusiastic editors. Because of this, I will surely continue to welcome student editors, as well as new editors making constructive edits! You (Oshwah) were so helpful to me as I was getting started, and it's a goal of mine to help new editors in any way I can! I greatly appreciate again your kind words, and I'm happy to see you around! You're a great "wiki-friend" (if that's considered a thing of course,) and I can't thank you enough! SPF121188 (talk this way) (contribs) 20:16, 3 October 2022 (UTC)

Hi

I noticed you welcome new editors. Is this something anyone can do? I've looked at the templates but I wasn't sure if you needed to be a member of the project? Thanks, Knitsey (talk) 13:51, 10 October 2022 (UTC)

Hello Knitsey and thanks for the message! Welcoming new users is something that anyone can do as there is no prerequisite, save for a positive attitude and willingness to help! You can join the welcoming committee, and I would also download twinkle, which has a ton of welcoming templates. I typically welcome users who are participating in a class project, OR leave a welcome message for any new users who have already made constructive edits. If you have any other questions for me, please let me know and I'm glad to see you're willing to welcome new users! Editor retention is very important to the long term health of Wikipedia, and it's great to see! SPF121188 (talk this way) (contribs) 15:13, 10 October 2022 (UTC)
Thank you so much for all the information, thats really helpful. I've been aware that reverting new editors who might have good intentions can seem a bit like biting the newcomer. I wanted a more welcoming way of doing it.
And omg that fly! Knitsey (talk) 15:17, 10 October 2022 (UTC)
Knitsey- I understand what you mean! However, there certainly are instances where warning newcomers is necessary (I'm sure you can decipher the difference between good faith edits and vandalism.) If something looks like a good faith edits, there are some welcoming options that welcome them, and let them know what they may have done wrong. Again, please don't hesitate to reach out to me! I'm more than happy to help! Also, yeaaahhhh I saw a fly on someone else's talk page, and swiped my computer screen at least three times... so yeah I had to put it on my talk page lolz. SPF121188 (talk this way) (contribs) 15:20, 10 October 2022 (UTC)
I will do some more reading and take a look at the templates as you suggested. I may come back and natter you about it later.
Thanks, Knitsey (talk) 15:25, 10 October 2022 (UTC)
Hello, Spf121188,
I just looked at a list of Wikipedia editors who welcome the most editors and you were far and away #1 on that list. I was next on the list (I do a lot of work in Draft space) but you had almost 3 times the number of Welcomes than I made. Thank you for greeting new editors and letting them know about the project! It's appreciated. Liz Read! Talk! 08:54, 19 October 2022 (UTC)
Thank you for the kind words, Liz! I know that retaining new editors is vital to the long term viability of Wikipedia, so I've made it a priority to welcome new editors who have already edited constructively, as well as student editors. Even if efforts only retain a few new editors, it's worth it :) Thank you again for the message and I look forward to seeing you around! You know you said to ask you questions when needed?

...I said I would take you up on that. I've read through WP:MOSS and I have a question about articles with mixed information by countries. Example Epidemiology of binge drinking which has information about different continents. An editor has changed some of the spelling to American English. I didn't want to revert as its a mixed page. It's not a big deal as it is mixed but I wondered if this was covered elsewhere. Thank you! Knitsey (talk) 16:34, 26 October 2022 (UTC)

Hello Knitsey! No worries at all! I looked at the edit to which you're referring, and the edit itself doesn't look too problematic, but I do understand what you're concerned about. In case like this, I would think the most important thing is to maintain consistency throughout the entire article. That's a good question, too, because an edit such as that (where the editor changed certain spellings to American English,) might be problematic because that edit itself may cause inconsistencies. Take a look at MOS:CONSISTENT to see what I'm referring to, and let me know if I can help further! (I'm no expert on everything by any means, BUT I'll do my best to help :)) SPF121188 (talk this way) (contribs) 16:40, 26 October 2022 (UTC)
That's perfect, thank you. Lots of information I haven't taken in. I've bookmarked it. I knew about the date difference but I hadn't read quite a few sections.
Btw it's not that I dislike American English as I think it's usually easier to use and you've got rid of all those extra 'u's. Thanks for the FAVOR. Knitsey (talk) 16:51, 26 October 2022 (UTC)
Knitsey, Anytime, my wikifriend! Conversely, I actually think American English can be more complicated than other languages to be honest. And don't worry, there is SO MUCH information to take in on this site, and I've even barely scratched the surface. I'll be away on vacation starting tomorrow until Monday, but I'll always do whatever I can to help out when you need it! :) SPF121188 (talk this way) (contribs) 16:53, 26 October 2022 (UTC)

User:Buster7 submitted the following nomination for Editor of the Week:

Taking the time to Welcome new editors to WikiPedia is not a common activity for veteran Users but Spf121188 is a "quick-draw" enthusiast at welcoming them and getting them started. Spf121188 has been busy for the past few months paving the way for newbies to become as similarly enthusiastic as he is to increase the circle of WikiPedia editors. Sadly, statistics show that most new editors do not stay despite the welcoming efforts of editors like Spf but who really knows what might happen. The effort to replicate yourself is a worthy goal. Help

Hi I'm in the class CMN2160. I'm running into an issue trying to complete my Wikipedia part of the assignment. I posted all my edits and published and everything was fine my content was there. I look 5mins later and everything keeps disappearing, I honestly don't know what to do. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sushi9 (talkcontribs) 16:20, 27 October 2022 (UTC)

Hello, Sushi9! I’m currently on vacation and away from my computer, but I’m going to ping Oshwah, as he has been more than helpful for me! Sorry I can’t provide assistance at the moment :-( SPF121188 (talk this way) (contribs) 19:01, 27 October 2022 (UTC)

I will also ping Ian (Wiki Ed). SPF121188 (talk this way) (contribs) 19:02, 27 October 2022 (UTC)

Hi Sushi9! I took a look at your recent edits to the Crystal healing article, and the article's edit history. One edit that you made that I noted when looking was this one. Specifically, you added the statement, "Modern physics has revealed that the universe is an energy field that is constantly vibrating. Like the universe, the human body has an energy field that allows energy to flow in and around the body. The various energies each vibrate within their own frequencies. This is known in Ayurvedic medicine as chakras." You then cite a reference to the Literature "Acupuncture and the chakras", which is likely written by someone who believes or practices this ritual. You then add the statement, "The crystal practitioner performing the healing attempts to create an energy field by placing healing stones or crystals on one’s chakra location." This content I cited will definitely be interpreted as having neutral point of view concerns, among other things.
First, you make statements about modern physics and say that we've discovered that the human body "has an energy field that allows energy to flow in and around" itself. If this is indeed true, then there would be numerous references that are considered in high regard to be reliable that would state this as a fact and rule of science. The fact that you cited literature about chakras will absolutely draw concerns - you're interpreting their beliefs and stating them as being real. Instead, you may consider stating that "literature regarding chakra states that the universe is an energy field..." instead of stating that this is a discovery in modern physics. Little words like these that will conveyed to the reader will change your entire statement from appearing to be from one point of view to being from another that is completely different very quickly.
You also state that "The crystal practitioner performing the healing attempts to create an energy field..." This, along with your previous statement, only adds to the concern about reflecting a neutral point of view. Just state what the practitioner does - they place healing stones or crystals on the receiving person's "chakra location" as described in literature. The colors and other specifics about the stones don't concern me; it's just the way that you worded the content that you added.
I hope that this response has helped you with gaining a better understanding of how to word content to reflect a neutral point of view. Also, remember that the Wikimedia Foundation recommends to instructors not to grade students based on the content that ultimately is kept on Wikipedia and later disputed, reverted, modified, shortened, or removed. They should be grading you on the quality of the content that you're attempting to add, as well as the quality of the references that you are citing in support. They can refer to diff links to those edits on the article's edit history. If you have questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to me by messaging me on my user talk page. I'll be more than happy to answer any questions and assist you further. :-) I wish you a great day, and happy editing! Best regards - ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 07:54, 28 October 2022 (UTC)
I'll add to Oshwah's comments - you really need to use the article's talk page and get consensus for this kind of addition - it is obvious that multiple editors of that page think that your contributions there are not improvements to the articles, and have been removing them. Please don't try to reinstate any of that material, now you know that it is disputed. (To be honest, I'm not convinced that Crystal healing is an article that is well-suited to an educational assignment by a novice editor.) Girth Summit (blether) 12:40, 28 October 2022 (UTC)
Thanks to both Oshwah and Girth Summit for replying to this while I’m on vacation! I couldn’t take a ton of time to look through Sushi9’s contributions so I really do appreciate your help! SPF121188 (talk this way) (contribs) 12:45, 28 October 2022 (UTC)
You bet; always happy to be of assistance. ;-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 14:22, 28 October 2022 (UTC)
Thanks to @Girth Summit, @Oshwah, and @Spf121188 - I also took a few days vacation last week. I appreciate your help. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 13:52, 31 October 2022 (UTC)

Jhalakeus has used verbatim a report on a death at these two articles Only Built for Infinity Links and Pure Water (Mustard and Migos song) from external sitehttps://jhalake.com/ which has a privacy issue statement about not copying the content. I'm assuming from the user name that the user writes the blog? It's also poorly written. I've not reverted it as yet. The last time I tried dealing with copyright I messed it up a bit. Do you think you can help? Knitsey (talk) 19:31, 2 November 2022 (UTC)

GREAT catch, Knitsey! It looks like both edits were taken care of by a different user before I got to them, but copyright issues are a bit of a weak area for me, as I'm still kind of learning the policies surrounding them. As we've both mentioned before, there is so much information to absorb, and even I've barely scratched the surface! Either way, good catch on that, and I'll try to help keep an eye on that! :) SPF121188 (talk this way) (contribs) 19:39, 2 November 2022 (UTC)

How to write on someone with little information.

Hello! I am writing a biography from scratch, but I am finding very little information on this person. Any clever tips or tricks on writing for someone who has very little or dubious sources about them, at best? DreadTwist7564 (talk) 23:53, 7 November 2022 (UTC) DreadTwist7564 (talk) 23:54, 7 November 2022 (UTC)

DreadTwist7564, I have Spf121188's talk page on my watchlist, so I thought I'd chime in. Are you sure this person is notable? Who is the subject? Jweiss11 (talk) 00:54, 8 November 2022 (UTC)
No, unfortunately. But there are very little ecofeminists that are; people that believe feminism and ecology are closely tied and repressed by masculine hegemony in similar ways. Her name is Judith Plant. She authored several books such as "Healing the Wounds: The Promise of Ecofeminism", and "Culture Gap: Towards a New World in the Yalakom Valley." DreadTwist7564 (talk) 01:11, 8 November 2022 (UTC)
Also do you know how to save changes in the sandbox? DreadTwist7564 (talk) 01:13, 8 November 2022 (UTC)
Plant could be notable. I'm seeing some coverage on Newspapers.com, e.g. https://www.newspapers.com/clip/112717228/times-colonist/. Perhaps you can get subscriber access to Newspapers.com through your university? Jweiss11 (talk) 01:17, 8 November 2022 (UTC)
Thank you! I'll check with the library. Do you also happen to know how to save changes in a sandbox? DreadTwist7564 (talk) 01:47, 8 November 2022 (UTC)
Thank you Jweiss11 for monitoring this for me! I usually am only active during the day here, so I appreciate it! As far as the sandbox goes, DreadTwist7564, check out this page, that should answer your questions about the sandbox. Basically, you'll save any edits to your sandbox as you normally would save an edit, and you should see your changes. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thank you!! SPF121188 (talk this way) (my edits) 14:01, 8 November 2022 (UTC)
Thank you for your assistance in all of this. Do you know of any other ways to find information on someone whom very little has been written about? DreadTwist7564 (talk) 13:27, 9 November 2022 (UTC)

DreadTwist7564, I think Jweiss11 gives the best advice regarding finding information about a subject of whom not much has been written. I use Newspapers.com through the WMF to obtain sources from the press, columns, and other articles. If you don't find many sources otherwise, the subject of your article may not meet Wikipedia's general notability guidelines. If you have any specific questions, please don't hesitate to leave me another message. Thanks! SPF121188 (talk this way) (my edits) 13:40, 9 November 2022 (UTC)

I felt it prudent to add that I think you may wish to not publicly display your full birthday. Identity theft and privacy is a real thing. It probably would not take someone all that much effort to find out much more about you based on what you provided. The year alone might be best, if at all. Just my two cents since you were so kind in your edit on my page. TY. Moops T 22:19, 15 November 2022 (UTC)

Oh and I think the "fly" thing on your page is really neat. I tried to put it on my own talk page without much luck. Are you able to help me by getting that to work correctly. By "work correctly", I mean so that when an editor/user scrolls down, the fly moves with them on their rendered page/screen? TY. Moops T 22:21, 15 November 2022 (UTC)

Chloe Melas is not and never has been a reporter for HLN. She also has done other reporting in the MeToo movement that was not mentioned. There is no need to go in depth on Morgan Freeman when we don't go in depth on her other high profile reporting on Kevin Spacey, CBS and more.

Also, she hosted a Britney Spears special and CNN's NYE coverage which needs to be highlighted along with her Bezos interview. RealNewsMama (talk) 21:45, 2 December 2022 (UTC)

List of magical weapons

Hi there, sorry for the multiple edits I was just finding my way through editing and replying to comments from you.

Please note this summary I added to my latest edit:

Lightsabers are part of a "science fantasy" saga, not "science fiction". They can only be built using the Force, which is not a tech or scientific-based procedure. The Force being a surrogate for spiritual power, it allows the Lightsaber to be classified as a magical weapon as much as the "Rings of Power" are magical weapons - even though in-universethey pretty much aren't. Likewise, the Darksaber - to which the same principle applies - is pretty much seen as the "Excalibur" of Star Wars. See source: https://may4bewithyou.com/do-you-need-the-force-to-use-a-lightsaber/ https://whatculture.com/tv/star-wars-the-complete-history-of-the-darksaber Gcruz 13 (talk) 21:15, 8 December 2022 (UTC)

I want to change my userpage title LordVoldemort728 to 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐭𝟕𝟐𝟖🧙‍♂️ by using Template:DISPLAYTITLE but I am unable to do it so can you please help me for changing title of my userpage by using Template:DISPLAYTITLE. 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐭𝟕𝟐𝟖🧙‍♂️Let's Talk ! 11:42, 8 December 2022 (UTC)

Hello LordVoldemort728! So, I took a look and tried a few things (every time I previewed, I screwed something up.) So, I'm going to ping FormalDude, who has been a HUGE help to me since I started here. I'm sure FormalDude can help you with that :) But please don't hesitate to reach out to me again for any help, I'll do my best!! SPF121188 (talk this way) (my edits) 15:26, 8 December 2022 (UTC)
@LordVoldemort728: You can't add an emoji since there's no emoji in your username. The displayed title must be equivalent to your actual username. ––FormalDude (talk) 04:05, 9 December 2022 (UTC)
Ok! Can I rename my username from LordVoldemort728 to 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐭𝟕𝟐𝟖🧙‍♂️ by using Special:GlobalRenameRequest. 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐭𝟕𝟐𝟖🧙‍♂️Let's Talk ! 09:25, 9 December 2022 (UTC)
Nope, you're not allowed to have emojis in your username. WP:NOEMOJI. ––FormalDude (talk) 00:05, 10 December 2022 (UTC)
Ok. I will not do that. Thanks. 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐭𝟕𝟐𝟖🧙‍♂️Let's Talk ! 09:15, 10 December 2022 (UTC)

Peace Dove Christmas

Peace is a state of balance and understanding in yourself and between others, where respect is gained by the acceptance of differences, tolerance persists, conflicts are resolved through dialog, peoples rights are respected and their voices are heard, and everyone is at their highest point of serenity without social tension.
Happy Holidays. ―Buster7  07:28, 12 December 2022 (UTC)

Fair enough, Blaze Wolf! I didn't really look into their contribs before responding, guess I should have.. oof SPF121188 (talk this way) (my edits) 19:00, 20 December 2022 (UTC)
I didn't really see anything wrong other than them randomly giving me and you wikilove messages despite neither of us having interacted with them. You could ask Bbb23 to clarify if you want. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 19:02, 20 December 2022 (UTC)
Eh, I'll just let it go at this point, Blaze Wolf. But I do appreciate you letting know, AND I'm glad to see you're still around! SPF121188 (talk this way) (my edits) 19:07, 20 December 2022 (UTC)

A barnstar for you!

Hi Tails Wx and thanks or the Barnstar!! :) Yesss, I feel much better and more refreshed, so I'm back for good! I just took everything from my talk page down, back to the version before I took my break message down, so that's my bad! I look forward to seeing you around and I do appreciate it greatly :) SPF121188 (talk this way) (my edits) 20:06, 13 February 2023 (UTC)

My wife and I are both SUPER excited for it! Can't wait, hopefully it's a good one, Tails Wx :) I'm sure it will be, it always is. SPF121188 (talk this way) (my edits) 14:21, 14 February 2023 (UTC)
I wonder if it'll be crazy like 2020 or 2021, but only Sunday will tell if it will. Thanks for the barnstar, by the way! Tails Wx 14:29, 14 February 2023 (UTC)

Tyson Bagent

You asked me to and a source on his father and I did and then you removed my edit again and said his father actually needs a Wikipedia page himself to be included. What exactly is the rule here? Also, Tyson's father Tyler is a way more notable person than Tyson. 24.192.92.163 (talk) 21:44, 21 March 2023 (UTC)

Personal life

I request a change because the information under personal life is not accurate. The accurate info is: He was married for over 30 years to Jana Nemec Golob, whom he later divorced. They have three children together. Since autumn 2022 he lives with his partner Tina Gaber. He made his first public appearance with her at the national celebration of the Slovenian Cultural Day on 7 February 2023. He currently lives in Ljubljana. Amlsl (talk) 14:45, 10 July 2024 (UTC)

Amlsl, thanks for leaving me a message! If you're going to change information about a living person, you'll need to add a reference to verify the information you're adding. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks! SPF121188 (talk this way) (my edits) 14:47, 10 July 2024 (UTC)

re:Civilian Officer

Hi SPF - just wanted to ask what seems to be wrong with Civilian Officer? Looking at their contribs, they've just made a pretty basic user page - phrased in a bit of a peacocky way, but I can't see anything too bad. At the moment your interaction with them feels a bit bitey but I might be missing something. BugGhost🦗👻 14:40, 17 July 2024 (UTC)

Bugghost, I based my CSD off of this, and I put a CSD tag on their page a second time because they re-added their material after it was deleted once by an administrator. Had this user had other constructive edits outside their userspace, that would have been taken into consideration. Hope that answers your question. SPF121188 (talk this way) (my edits) 15:10, 17 July 2024 (UTC)
If you're referring to my report to AIV, I really only did that because they re-added their material after it was deleted once, but I probably jumped the gun on that. I try not to "bite" new editors, but it's usually pretty clear if a user is making an account just to host utilize userspace for their own writings, advertising, promotion, etc. Basically anything that has nothing to do with WP, especially if there is no other activity from their account (constructive edits.) K Brosas personal life

Hi SPF! I made an edit regarding K Brosas’ personal life. It appears that Pola Anne, her daughter’s former girlfriend, the two had broken up already. Crystal, K Brosas’ daughter has a new girlfriend which she posted on her Instagram page. The current partner is Zhyzhia. Here is the Instagram post. RainRose777 (talk) 13:24, 23 July 2024 (UTC)

Hello RainRose777; thanks for leaving me a message! When making your change to that article (especially since it's a biography of a living person,) you'll want to make sure you have a citation (your IG post should be sufficient, but I'm not totally sure of that.) Take a look at the link I included, it should provide some help. Thank you! SPF121188 (talk this way) (my edits) 13:36, 23 July 2024 (UTC)
