Honduran election

Just an FYI, it's standard for the votes and % to be displayed that way in countries using MMPR even when the constituencies are different sizes - see e.g. Ecuador, Luxembourg. Cheers, Number 57 19:29, 22 December 2013 (UTC)

Hi, I'm working on another proposal for the table, which will show the result more accurately. Basically, we need to separate two things: % for parties and votes for candidates. I'll try to upload the proposal for %-table later today if possible. (ping [[User:Number 57)). --Soman (talk) 00:41, 23 December 2013 (UTC)

Google books

Thanks for that and Merry Christmas!! BTW if you paste google book urls into here you can draw them fully in an instance!♦ Dr. Blofeld 16:25, 25 December 2013 (UTC)

If you copy the second and third "Onloadhook" at the top of User:Dr. Blofeld/monobook.js into your own monobook you can link google books and google book ref maker directly into your top panel. That's how I manage to source articles so quickly!♦ Dr. Blofeld 16:41, 25 December 2013 (UTC)

IMPRESSIVE

Soman, I just noticed your contribution to Wikipedia; awesome and super impressive. Very good job done and keep it up. Cheers AKS 14:18, 25 December 2013 (UTC)

Ditto from me. I enjoyed reading your presentation on your user page and your ordering of articles created and DYKs. Your world coverage of political parties, newspapers, etc., is extremely useful, even if many of your articles are short stubs. It's thanks to people like you that Wikipedia is such a useful source of information. How many languages do you speak (or read)? Season's greetings.--Ipigott (talk) 07:36, 26 December 2013 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Revolutionary Marxist Workers Party, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Westport (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Welcome to the 2014 WikiCup!

Hello Soman, and welcome to the 2014 WikiCup! Your submission page can be found here. The competition will begin at midnight tonight (UTC). There have been a few small changes from last year; the rules can be read in full at Wikipedia:WikiCup/Scoring, and the page also includes a summary of changes. One important rule to remember is that only content on which you have completed significant work, and nominated, in 2014 is eligible for points in the competition- the judges will be checking! As ever, this year's competition includes some younger editors. If you are a younger editor, you are certainly welcome, but we have written an advice page at Wikipedia:WikiCup/Advice for younger editors for you. Please do take a look. Any questions should be directed to one of the judges, or left on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup. Signups will close at the end of January, and the first round will end on 26 February; the 64 highest scorers at that time will make it to round 2. Good luck!
