Page mover granted
Hello, Silikonz. Your account has been granted the "extendedmover" user right, either following a request for it or demonstrating familiarity with working with article names and moving pages. You are now able to rename pages without leaving behind a redirect, move subpages when moving the parent page(s), and move category pages.
Please take a moment to review Wikipedia:Page mover for more information on this user right, especially the criteria for moving pages without leaving a redirect. Please remember to follow post-move cleanup procedures and make link corrections where necessary, including broken double-redirects when suppressredirect
is used. This can be done using Special:WhatLinksHere. It is also very important that no one else be allowed to access your account, so you should consider taking a few moments to secure your password. As with all user rights, be aware that if abused, or used in controversial ways without consensus, your page mover status can be revoked.

If you do not want the page mover right anymore, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Thank you, and happy editing! Salvio giuliano 18:33, 13 February 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks @Salvio giuliano, much appreciated. Silikonz💬 18:34, 13 February 2023 (UTC)
Chinese Communist Revolution Move
Thanks for helping with this move. Was that the right spot for me to put the request? In the future if I encounter something similar, is there a way for me to fix it myself? SilverStar54 (talk) 18:43, 13 February 2023 (UTC)
- @SilverStar54, yes, it was the right venue, thanks for posting a request. User:Lostafacte moved the original title to Chinese Civil War (1946-1949), then changed the redirect to point to Chinese Civil War without leaving any explanation, which seems very odd as the two articles were supposed to be separate. (Lostafacte, if you could please explain your rationale and/or make an WP:RM request, that would be great!)
- In future, if you see an undiscussed move you disagree with, you can first try moving (reverting) yourself. If the move fails with an error you can then post to WP:RMTR. Silikonz💬 18:52, 13 February 2023 (UTC)
- @Silikonz Ohhh, got it. I didn't catch that first move which threw me off. Thanks SilverStar54 (talk) 21:51, 13 February 2023 (UTC)
- It should be clear that the Communist Revolution refers the the entire civil war whereas the article was specifically referring only to the War of Liberation (in Mainland parlance) 1946-1949. Lostafacte (talk) 23:31, 13 February 2023 (UTC)
Quest Nutrition Draft
Hey! I started the Quest Nutrition page. I'm not affiliated with them, but would like to see something on there. They are big in the sector, but their founder has been noted for hiring felons, etc... which seems particularly interesting. As you seem to be a regular contributer, would appreciate any help you can provide in making the article worthy. Boogagloofuntimes (talk) 17:47, 14 February 2023 (UTC)
- Hey @Boogagloofuntimes, it would be appreciated if more references were added, using inline citations. Note that they also have to have significant coverage, e.g. not just a press release or a mere mention in the source. These usually come from news articles. The first time I reviewed there were minimal sources. The draft has improved a bit since I last had a look. Thanks, Silikonz💬 18:12, 14 February 2023 (UTC)
Thanks!
Hey, thanks for your help regarding the page move at English language in Puerto Rico. After following your instructions, the RM disappeared to quickly for me to thank you there and ended up in an edit conflict! Good thing I found you here... LOL! Mercy11 (talk) 21:05, 19 February 2023 (UTC)
- Ahaha... no problem. I removed it when I saw you'd done it successfully. Happy editing :) Silikonz💬 21:31, 19 February 2023 (UTC)

Technical question
Hi! I am a very new AFC reviewer and I'm still learning the ropes. Where are the instructions for approving articles replacing redirects or otherwise requiring a technical move? I'm using the script, so I don't know the manual process. ~ Pbritti (talk) 16:45, 21 February 2023 (UTC)
- @Pbritti, actually, I can say the same about myself! I'm not really sure; the AFCH script doesn't handle anything in that regard. If you can find any tips, feel free to notify me. In the meantime, feel free to drop by at RMTR anytime :) Silikonz💬 16:49, 21 February 2023 (UTC)
- Oh, that's good to hear–glad I went to a place that is willing to help! Thanks for the guidance, even if it is to just repeat that same process! ~ Pbritti (talk) 16:51, 21 February 2023 (UTC)
- @Pbritti, just did a little research. If you're still following this: on WP:AFC/RI, towards the bottom, it states:
In such cases, you should consider requesting a technical page move or a history merge.
So... I guess you went to the right place. Silikonz💬 20:02, 21 February 2023 (UTC)- Huh. Thanks for doing the leg work. I'm halfway surprised that's the official procedure but I suppose it's a fail-safe against improper overwriting. ~ Pbritti (talk) 20:04, 21 February 2023 (UTC)

Why did you remove my Wikipedia page and other pages mentioning me?
Hello Liz:
Do we know each other? If so, please identify yourself- I can be reached at ideas@krohndesign.com
My name is Lisa Krohn. I am a designer and teacher of design- and I am perplexed to see that you have taken down a few of the references to me and my work on Wikipedia and dismantled some of the links. I am not a professional on Wikipedia- and if I made any errors, I would be glad to update things to be more correct. I do not, however understand the taking down of my presence there. At the moment I am very interested in restoring all these links- for example you removed my link to the 1997 Chrysler Award winners.
This is not polite. If I can update these links- I am interested in any advice on best practices, but I would be grateful to you for restoring everything you removed, cancelled, or deemed not valid as all the information is correct and valid.
Moreover, I will take this up with Wikipedia if you are not cooperative about this.
Thank you,
Lisa Krohn Designatrix (talk) 19:18, 21 February 2023 (UTC)
- @Designatrix, I don't believe we've met. Nor am I named Liz. Perhaps you're looking for User:Liz?
- Either way, it appears that you have a conflict of interest with what you are editing. I would strongly suggest you to read that page I linked. If you are being paid to edit, you are required to disclose that as well.
- Finally, note that making legal threats against Wikipedia is prohibited. You are welcome to respond if you have any other questions. Thanks, Silikonz💬 19:22, 21 February 2023 (UTC)
- Well, I didn't expect to see this when I came to visit your Talk page! Sorry for the unwarranted hostile message, Silikonz. It looks like her account is now blocked for promotional editing. It looks like you gave her some good advice though. Liz Read! Talk! 19:03, 23 February 2023 (UTC)
The hills are burning
Hi I saw your comment regarding the page The hills are burning that I created and I am new to creating pages having created only one page before. The book is a legit traditionally published book relesed this month - I can email you the various articles about it and you can search on Amazon and Google as well - please help me create the page for the book. Thank you 202.134.148.171 (talk) 16:47, 24 February 2023 (UTC)
- @Papuly2k, if you are this user, please edit while logged in. I would like to see more reliable sources which cite the book with significant coverage. Visiting the websites result in 404 errors; is there an issue with your wikitext syntax? Silikonz💬 17:38, 24 February 2023 (UTC)

Hi, why did you block this page ? Imourcha (talk) 05:57, 25 February 2023 (UTC)
- @Imourcha, please read the reason I left. Submissions written in French are not suitable for the English Wikipedia. You may either
- provide a suitable translation into English, or
- submit to frwiki instead.
- However, I was not the one who deleted the page. You may want to contact Bbb23 if you wish, who did. Silikonz💬 15:41, 25 February 2023 (UTC)

I noticed that Scope creep deleted the comment, but I saw it before then. I will keep that in mind for the future. TY kindly for bringing that information to my attention. :) — Moops ⋠T⋡ 17:33, 25 February 2023 (UTC)

All links authentic - Kindly Review
Hi Silikon, I was in middle of minor Maintenance Error in Wiki Page - I Sea U (Thai TV Series), when you tagged it under ambiguous links. Pls review as all links are authentic from official page of the Network & Studio involved in creation of this series. The copyright original poster to be added post acceptance of the article. I will appreciate if you could review it soon, as single code line miss caused huge tag🙏🏻🙂 2402:E280:3E2D:371:2CCE:1435:A424:F4F4 (talk) 22:50, 25 February 2023 (UTC)
- @BrightsForever, if this is you, please edit while logged in. Taking another look, the references appear to be about the same. Note that YouTube, social media, and IMDb are not reliable sources. I think it is unlikely it will be accepted currently, nor will I do so presently, but even pending review you can improve the draft by adding references. Silikonz💬 22:59, 25 February 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks Silikon for prompt reply.
- This series is created by small production house, hence do not have blue ticked user. TRUE 4U is official Thailand based channel, Lasercat Studio is smaller channel. I have currently considered the references from old existence articles. however today it was new learning, will continue to improve. BrightsForever (talk) 23:07, 25 February 2023 (UTC)
Request on 22:54:24, 27 February 2023 for assistance on AfC submission by Brainstormcs
- Brainstormcs (talk · contribs)
I believe I have sufficiently improved the references now, however Wiki is incorrectly numbering the references, so the don't reference numerically. In content they are 1, 2 and 3, but under the references header they are 4, 5, and 6. Hopefully the sources are sufficient though!
Brainstormcs (talk) 22:54, 27 February 2023 (UTC)
- @Brainstormcs, that seems to be because your inline citations are formatted... unconventionally, which I will take a stab at improving in a bit. In addition, biographies are usually disambiguated with a general occupation, not a lengthy note of their current role (which may change), per WP:NCDAB. The subject does appear to have notability, though. Silikonz💬 23:03, 27 February 2023 (UTC)
- Would "David schwartz (Cryptographer)" serve better here? Thank you for your assistance, I am very new here. Brainstormcs (talk) 23:06, 27 February 2023 (UTC)
- @Brainstormcs, the submission has already been renamed to Draft:David Schwartz (computer scientist) by AngusWOOF. Silikonz💬 23:07, 27 February 2023 (UTC)
