question

why did you revert my edit? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.77.115.26 (talk) 01:58, 6 November 2020 (UTC)

Hey, @174.77.115.26: They're sandbox pages, so I've reverted the edits. Sorry if I reverted them too soon. Also, please don't forget to type your signature (~~~~) after a talk page post. Thanks. Silikonz (💬🖋) 05:10, 6 November 2020 (UTC)
No its ok, I thought most people let the bots clear them, I just thought I might have done something wrong. 174.77.115.26 (talk) 02:18, 7 November 2020 (UTC)
Oh. OK. You haven't done anything wrong. Sorry for the inconvenience. I think the bots do clear them; I shouldn't have done it. Silikonz (💬🖋) 02:23, 7 November 2020 (UTC)

Rollback granted

Hi Silikonz. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! Wug·a·po·des 03:22, 8 November 2020 (UTC)

ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2020 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 02:58, 24 November 2020 (UTC)

Biographies of living persons policy

Hello. Re your edits at Muzzy Izzet, you were absolutely correct to revert that anon edit, and should have stuck with your first instincts. Such an allegation is unacceptable without a source, per the biographies of living persons policy. These are real people we're writing about. Struway2 (talk) 11:15, 24 November 2020 (UTC)

Ah, thanks for catching that! Yes, you're absolutely right about WP:BLP. I shouldn't have reverted my own edit there. I don't know what I was thinking then; I probably wasn't. Great job! Silikonz (💬🖋) 20:44, 24 November 2020 (UTC)

Pending changes reviewer granted

Hello. Your account has been granted the "pending changes reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on pages protected by pending changes. The list of articles awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges, while the list of articles that have pending changes protection turned on is located at Special:StablePages.

Being granted reviewer rights neither grants you status nor changes how you can edit articles. If you do not want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time.

Cleaning up Special:WantedTemplates

Hi, due to quirks in the way that Wikipedia parses javascript pages, curly braces are parsed as templates, unless they are inside of <nowiki>...</nowiki>, <pre>...</pre>, <syntaxhighlight>...</syntaxhighlight> ... As a result of this, your script page, User:Silikonz/sandbox.js, is generating links in Special:WantedTemplates (in particular links to Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:RWTEXT and Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:RWTEXT\). Recently, an interface editor attempted to fix this by adding <nowiki> at the top and </nowiki> at the bottom of your script page. This didn't work because you already have <nowiki>...</nowiki> on that page. It would be great if you could add <syntaxhighlight>...</syntaxhighlight> tags (you don't have these) at the top and bottom of your page like this which will prevent your page from generating links in Special:WantedTemplates. Thanks for your help! Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 14:34, 24 March 2021 (UTC)

Sorry, I can't get to my primary computer at the moment. I'll fix soon! :) Silikonz (alternate account) (💬🖋) 09:17, 2 April 2021 (UTC)
