Disruptive edits
How my edit was disruptive? i literally just put the full name of the artist there instead of an abbreviation. Please check it yourself--TheWall6 (talk) 14:26, 26 January 2022 (UTC)

Punjabi-canadian organized crime
Stop reverting edits on Punjabi-Canadian organized crime, every article refers to this type of crime as "indo-canadian" and further, i am removing deadlink sources and sources in which the given info is not found. thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pb&jsandwichlova (talk • contribs) 18:38, 28 January 2022 (UTC)

Deleting my content
I have recently edited Indian Wedding Blessing page with a genuine external link. why are you deleting my chnages. there is nothing like spam. Read wiki article and external link article then decide whether it is spam or not. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rahulzeerao (talk • contribs) 13:21, 29 January 2022 (UTC)
- Hello Rahulzeerao, your link has absolutely nothing to do with the article and also does not correspond to the rules of Wikipedia, see Wikipedia:Weblinks. You have already received corresponding warnings from other users on your talk page, therefore a friendly note; please stop this, you could lose your account. Regards --Serols (talk) 13:51, 29 January 2022 (UTC)

Revert on Dan Burn
Hi! Nice job on reverting the disruptive edits on Dan Burn. I saw you already left one single warning on the users talk page for another occasion. To keep track of offenses, it is good to leave a warning at every disruptive edit. This way, other users know when to notify an admin. Keep up the good work. Cheers, Pyrite Pro (talk) 16:36, 30 January 2022 (UTC)

Back Mount
Hi Serols, you reverted my edit on the back mount page which removed an image that depicted back control. Back mount and back control are not the same position as is clarified in the first paragraph of the article. My correction would help to avoid potential confusion. Please refer to the IBJJF Rule Book (v5.2) p.21 section 4.4, which demonstrates the mount and back mount position. And then please refer to Section 4.5 p.22 which depicts back control. Wikipedia needs a page on the subject of Back Control which I intend to create with references. I'm a 2nd degree BJJ Black Belt, training since 2005 and also have qualifications as a referee. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mthourigan (talk • contribs) 22:13, 6 February 2022 (UTC)
- Hello Mthourigan, if it's just about the picture, why are you deleting the whole info box? The image file is behind image =. Regards --Serols (talk) 15:29, 7 February 2022 (UTC)

Your edit on 104.7 the revolution
Please understand you were not listening to the 104.7 the revolution back on the day it went off the air. I made a factual change to the statements about the last night of the broadcast and last song it played and you deleted it because you do not have the facts. Find a recording of the last 5 mins of the broadcast and you will see that I am in fact reporting the truth because I was listening at the time and I AM THE ONE WHO REQUESTED THE UN-EDITED VERSION OF THE SONG AND MY NAME WAS SAID ON AIR RIGHT BEFORE IT WAS PLAYED 2601:541:4300:4AA1:18E0:74AA:BEF4:BDCB (talk) 17:30, 7 February 2022 (UTC)

Hey! I noticed that you added a report to WP:AIV for a user that had previously already been reported and blocked. I would assume this was just a mistake using huggle but just figured I'd let you know. ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 18:48, 30 November 2021 (UTC)

AIV Report of 37.159.78.94
Hello! I noticed that you reported User:37.159.78.94 for vandalism to WP:AIV. I declined your report because the user was inappropriately warned. Looking at the user's talk page, I see that you gave him 4 warnings (Levels 1-4) in the same minute; all of those warnings took place after the user stopped his vandalism edits. Under our WP:WARNVAND policy, users should be reported to AIV for blocking after they have been sufficiently warned, have the opportunity to notice they have been warned, and continue disruptive behavior despite these warnings. Because all of the warnings took place after the editing stopped, a block would be punitive instead of preventative, which is why I have declined the report. You are welcome to re-report to AIV if the user resumes disruptive activity after being sufficiently warned. --Slon02 (talk) 22:03, 12 February 2022 (UTC)
- Hello Slon02, the IP made 4 vandalism edits in 2 minutes. The IP got the justified warnings for this from me a minute later. Since it was not foreseeable whether the IP would continue like this, I made the report to AIV. The intention of the IP was only one thing - vandalism. It is therefore incomprehensible to me why an admin protects a vandal and also deletes two justified warnings. Where is the educational effect and why do you need AIV if you don't block the vandals? --Serols (talk) 16:38, 13 February 2022 (UTC)
- Your response makes me think that you're not understanding the purpose of the blocking policy. The purpose of warnings is not to check off boxes on your way to justify a report to AIV for blocking - it is to inform the editor that what he is doing is against the rules, to inform him of what the rules are and the consequences for non-compliance, and to provide an opportunity to correct behavior. Piling 4 escalating warnings onto a talk page and then submitting an AIV report - all without any disruptive edits taken by the user between them - is an action punitive in its nature, and contrary to the purpose behind the blocking policy. That is why your warnings were not justified: they did not come in response to new vandalism, but were an attempt to punish already-committed acts. If the user had resumed disruptive editing after being properly warned, he would have been blocked; as he did not resume (quite possibly in response to the warnings on his talk page), so he was not blocked. As a result, the blocking policy achieved its purpose, as the vandalism stopped.--Slon02 (talk) 19:15, 13 February 2022 (UTC)
- 1. The edits of the reported user must be obvious vandalism or obvious spam.
- 2. Except for egregious cases, the user must have been given enough warning(s) to stop their disruptive behavior.
- 3. The warning(s) must have been given recently and there must be reasonable grounds to believe the user(s) will further disrupt the site in the immediate
Frankopan family
Hi, thanks for your recent reverts of the IP vandalism at of Frankopan family. My request for temporary page protection has just been declined. What do you reckon the next step is? 88.97.100.7 (talk) 13:29, 10 February 2022 (UTC)
- Hello 88.97.100.7, the vandalism is too low for a side blocking. Please let me know if there is more. Regards --Serols (talk) 16:33, 10 February 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks for your reverts. The same thing is still going on over at Frankopan family tree, by a similar pattern of IP-hopping edit war enthusiasts. 88.97.100.7 (talk) 18:45, 16 February 2022 (UTC)

Dessie Grew
I don't know how to edit wiki pages, it is all beyond me
I have had several friends and family murdered by IRA terrorists and to call them "volunteers" sanitises their actions.
They are factually and my any dictionary definition terrorists, the EU court ruling yesterday also concluded same
With regard to the part Mr McCaughey and Mr Grew had in their own deaths, the jury found that they had put their lives in danger by being in the vicinity of a stolen car expected to be used in terrorist activity, and by being armed with guns and wearing gloves and balaclavas.
