09:59:55, 21 September 2014 review of submission by Larisawebb

Thank you for your review of the Sri Babuji article I submitted. Are you aware that this is to replace previous article that was deleted? : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Sri_Sainathuni_Sarath_Babuji
I was not involved with the original article that was written. As one of the commentators on the deleted article noted he 'does seem to be a pretty notable guru' but struggled to find reliable sources. For this article I have taken great pains to find a range of sources. Is the issue the independence of the sources? This seems a real challenge with writing on gurus where most that is written is by devotees. For example, even the sources for the wikipedia article on Ramana Maharashi (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ramana_Maharshi), who is quite well known in the west, are mainly devotees.

So the tone of the article was a key concern rather than the sources per se?

Speedy deletion contested: Tin Shui Wai Hospital
Hello Cutest Penguin. I am just letting you know that I contested the speedy deletion of Tin Shui Wai Hospital, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: I am not the creator of this article. Speedy deletion contested. The corresponding article in the Chinese Wikipedia has several references. Once those references are added to this article, notability should be clear. . Thank you. New sign-up page for the Medical Translation Project
Hey!
This is a friendly reminder that the sign-up page at the Medical Translation Project (previously Translation Task force) has been updated. This means everyone has to sign up again. Using the new page it will be easier for us to get into contact with you when there is work available. Please check out our progress pages now! There might be work there already for you.
We are also very proud to introduce new roles and guides which allows people to help who don't have medical knowledge too!
- Here are ways you can help!
- Community organization
- We need involved Wikipedians to engage the community on the different Wikipedias, and to spread the word!
- Assessing content
- We need language knowledgeable Wikipedians (or not yet Wikipedians) who indicate on our progress tables which articles should and should not be translated!
- Translating
- We are always on the look-out for dedicated translators to work with our content, especially in smaller languages!
- Integration
- Translated articles need to be integrated into local Wikipedias. This process is done manually, and needs to take merge or replace older articles.
- Template installation
- For translations to be more useful templates and modules should be installed. We need people with the technical know-how who can help out!
- Programming
- Several of our processes are in need of simplification and many could occur automatically with bots.
Please use the sign up page, and thank you guys for all the work you've been doing. The translation project wouldn't be possible without you!

Request on 18:56:36, 24 September 2014 for assistance on AfC submission by Nannadeem
Nannadeem (talk) 18:56, 24 September 2014 (UTC)
Thanks for your patience you have to bear in reviewing my draft-article (Heartmath Institute). I am certain, you would be kind enough to point out me the section which is composed of copy right contents.
- I noticed that “About the Institute of HeartMath” section contains contents from reference no.9 (Reflist). Indeed the contents have been taken out from the said URL. But narration is not the same. However, contents would be deleted and replacement would be endeavored with appropriate free contents.
- Pointing/marking of other sections which are composed of copyright contents would be a great help to me. Your attention and encouragement is my asset for shining.Nannadeem (talk) 18:56, 24 September 2014 (UTC)
- @Nannadeem: You can see copyvio here and I would like to say that your draft seems to be advertisement which is against the wikipedia policy. Thank you!. — CutestPenguinHangout 12:31, 25 September 2014 (UTC)
04:31:49, 26 September 2014 review of submission by Ndumiso Sambo
Hi,
Thanks for reviewing the article- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Yookos.
Please guide how can I fix the issue. Else, highlight points that need to be changed. I do not see anything much wrong that makes the article is unacceptable,
Revert as soon as possible. I want this article to be published at the earliest.
Ndumiso Sambo (talk) 04:31, 26 September 2014 (UTC)
- After some discussion on IRC, and a second opinion, I went ahead and accepted this. While not totally neutral in tone, it's not so 'grossly' advertorial as to be a CSD. Generally, an 'advertising' decline is one that either has gross puffery and peacock language, or one that includes things like product lists, pricing, and contact information such as phone numbers...basically that would be speedied in mainspace. Since there is evidence of coverage in multiple mainstream media outlets, we though that it showed a reasonable chance of surviving an AfD, and would stand a better change of 'improvement' in mainspace. You're right that it's not a 'great' article, but the 'advertising' criteria should be taken with a grain of salt...if it's not something that is either grossly deletable or would require a complete rewrite, it should be passed and either fixed or flagged by the reviewer.
- If you want to discuss this with me, feel free to ping me here or on IRC. Thanks. Reventtalk 06:10, 26 September 2014 (UTC)
- @Revent: You discussed on IRC which means even you were also confused about the criteria, most of time I ping you on IRC but you hardly response. Thanks for feedback and information. — CutestPenguinHangout 16:29, 26 September 2014 (UTC)
- It's not an indication that I was confused about the criteria... I would have accepted it without 'discussion' if it had not already been declined. My consulting other people was because I'm not really willing to push my 'opinion' over that of other people without confirming it with someone else. I'm sorry that I sometimes don't reply, but due to timezones you are often pinging me when I am either not at home, or asleep.. I don't 'log out' of IRC when I am 'away', simply so that I can be pinged, and I have noticed several times lately that you had pinged me when I wasn't around and then logged out before I saw the message. If you mention what it is about when you ping me, I'd be more than happy to respond either onwiki or by MemoServ when I see the message, but please don't think I am actively trying to ignore you...that is not the case. When you see me 'active' on IRC during your timezone, it's usually because I'm suffering from insomia and awake in the middle of the my night. Reventtalk 19:02, 26 September 2014 (UTC)
- @Revent: Thank you revent for replying another thing I would like to request you that please take care you are not only a good person but also a good Wikipedian. Thanks again! — CutestPenguinHangout 13:29, 27 September 2014 (UTC)

No, this is an original article first created on Wikipedia. I myself located the references that trace the history to construct the core. Check article's history.
I have been looking at the history of old Delhi. Delhi College has quit a long and fascinating history before it got renamed.
Caution is needed, many external articles use Wikipedia texts, which they are permitted to. Malaiya (talk) 04:52, 28 September 2014 (UTC)
