You are invited back to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Daljit Ami
As actions speak louder than words, and I was asserting this person being notable through WP:CREATIVE, I went ahead and using just the first page of my source search on him, edited and sourced the article. Please take a look at what has been done. I think you'll agree it is much better now than when you first nominated it for deletion. Yes? No? Schmidt, Michael Q. 16:50, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
- @MichaelQSchmidt: You have done a appreciable job and I should be thankful for this. But let the Afd run until some outcomes and decision can be taken later as per HEY. CutestPenguin (Talk) 13:00, 25 August 2014 (UTC)

Film's production is receiving coverage and filming has begun. Meets WP:NFF (paragraph 3). I think it serves Wikipedia to allow this to remain and be further expanded and improved over time and through regular editing. Care to respond at the AFD? Schmidt, Michael Q. 10:19, 4 September 2014 (UTC)

Wikimedia DC invites revolutionaries, free thinkers, and other sundry editors to a DC WikiSalon
The WikiSalon is a special meetup usually held during the first and third full weeks of every month, from 7 PM to 9 PM. It's an informal gathering of Wikimedia enthusiasts, who come together to discuss Wikimedia wikis and collaboratively edit. There's no set agenda, and guests are welcome to recommend articles for the group to edit or edit on their own.
If you're coming by Metro, the closest station is Dupont Circle (on the Red Line). If you're driving, a lot of parking opens up downtown after 6:30 PM, so finding a parking space (even a free one) should be easy. Once you've found the building, go to Cove on the second floor. We will be in the conference room.
When: Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Where: The Cove, Dupont Circle, 1730 Connecticut Avenue NW, 2nd floor, 20009, DC

Re article on Jemadar Abdul Latif Khan
Hello, just wanted to say that although I might not necessarily agree with your views and comments on the above article's deletion discussion, I am still thankful for your input and respect your right to express your views. I will reiterate here that I have no 'personal interest' in the topic, except my own personal research interests/specialisations; and though I may be argumentative at the discussion I value your individual perspectives as an editor here on wikipedia. No hard feelings, I trust. Best wishes, AsadUK200 (talk) 19:05, 9 September 2014 (UTC)AsadUK200
- @AsadUK200: Thanks for not being involve in WP:COI, and this is appreciable. The thing you and even I can do is can leave our suggestions in the form of vote at Afd, but while looking at your account I have found that you are sharing IP with multiple accounts and there is no problem with this, but actively participating on Afd is considered to be the convening afd which should not be done, it is requested that please avoid doing so. - The average admin (such as me) may not know much about the workings of IRC. I see that at WP:IRC it says: "Help for accessing IRC itself is best requested on the talk page". If you get no joy there, the place where the technical gurus hang out is WP:VPT. JohnCD (talk) 19:01, 9 September 2014 (UTC)
- Cloak requests must be granted by a human; they're in no way automatic, and they take time. You can tell whether you have a Wikipedia cloak by using /whois on yourself on IRC; you should see something along the lines of:

Hi, there!
I'm sorry to see my article was rejected. I'm working on being a better Wikipedia author! I used much time writing my article about Tonic Breed. I can see my article was not accepted because I've actually used some info I've wrote for another page as well. Is it possible for me to rewrite some of the sentences that may have caused this problem, so that the article would be up and running?

Hello, I was just writing to check which aspects of the article compromised the neutrality... I don't think I used any adjectives that were not used in the cited sources and indeed toned down the language from these sources. The article seems to be solely factual. Are you objecting to the verb 'noted'?

I am not clear why you are not able to accept this article.
It is basically a translation of a similar article in German. https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hofrat_Simon_Heinrich_Sack%E2%80%99sche_Familienstiftung Or only American foundations of interest on the English Wikipedia? There are many family members in the USA and the Sack Foundation is probably one of the biggest and best documented in the world. I've even added some detail to make its importance clearer. Please let me know what I need to add to make this clearer.
