Creating non-English articles
[edit]Hello there, I believe you want to create a Hindi language article. Articles written in English language are only accepted at English Wikipedia. Apart from that, there is already an article about the topic that you want to create, see Atru. You should create Hindi articles at Hindi Wikipedia. Click the preceding link to access Hindi Wikipedia. Regards. Hitro talk 16:34, 15 December 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add or change content, as you did at Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. bonadea contributions talk 10:23, 29 December 2018 (UTC)
An article you recently created, Ummedganj, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Minor edits checkbox
[edit]Hi SandeepKumarMeena! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Gautam Adani that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. -- Toddy1 (talk) 05:48, 8 February 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus, as you did to Mohammed Zubair (journalist). This includes making page moves while a discussion remains underway. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you. — DaxServer (t · m · c) 19:43, 8 February 2023 (UTC)

For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted material, including text or images from print publications or from other websites, without an appropriate and verifiable license. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously, and persistent violators of our copyright policy will be blocked from editing. See Wikipedia:Copying text from other sources for more information. M.Ashraf333 (talk) 07:02, 6 March 2023 (UTC)
I have had a look at the article you created on Kawai, Rajasthan in the state it was before other editors deleted most of it. Here are some tips:
- You must have got the information from somewhere. When you write an article you need to record where you got the information from in the form of citations to sources. Please only use reliable sources such as books, newspapers, government websites; do not use chat pages. Have a look at referencing for beginners.
- You are not allowed to just copy chunks of text from other websites. That is called a copyright violation. What you have to do is to write the information in your own words.

Reminder about the requirement to cite sources to verify contributions
[edit]Hello @SandeepKumarMeena. I am @Archer1234. I noticed your recent edit to Bhumika Chawla where you added a new film to the filmography table, but you did not cite a published reliable source to verify it. In addition, WP:FILMOGRAPHY says not to add future film projects until filming has begun as verified by a reliable source.
I went ahead and added a source for you, but please do this yourself next time and do not rely on other editors to do it for you. Remember that one of the most important Wikipedia policies (Wikipedia:Verifiability) says:
All content must be verifiable. The burden to demonstrate verifiability lies with the editor who adds or restores material, and it is satisfied by providing an inline citation to a reliable source that directly supports the contribution.
Thanks and Happy Editing! — Archer1234 (t·c) 14:40, 10 April 2023 (UTC)

Rajasthan Staff Selection Board conducts selection examinations for govt employees who have pay scale up to Level-10. Request reason:
Your reason here SandeepKumarMeena (talk) 14:15, 16 November 2023 (UTC) I was blocked from editing because I created a article " Rajasthan Staff Selection Board" by copying text and images from other page "Rajasthan Public Service Commission". But let me clear few things why I copied some text, templets and logos. There are two state govt. institutions for conducting competitive examinations in Rajasthan. The only difference between the two is that Rajasthan Public Service Commission conducts examinations for the recruitment of employees with salaries above 3600 Grade Pay, and Rajasthan Staff Selection Board conducts examinations for employees drawing salaries up to 3600 Grade Pay. . Since both are state government institutions. Both are related to competitive exams. Both shares same state govt logo. Therefore, the format/templete of article of both should be same, That's why I copied the logo and template. I value the Wikipedia community and the principles of open collaboration, and I am eager to continue contributing positively to the platform. I kindly request the reconsideration and lifting of the block on my account. If there are specific actions or steps I need to take to rectify the situation, please provide guidance, and I will promptly address them. Thank you for your time and consideration. I appreciate your dedication to maintaining the integrity of the Wikipedia community. Sincerely,

- Rosguill and Yamla, the user has something of a point here, regardless of the ownership of the site. Under "Website Policy", it says "Copyright Policy: Material featured on this site may be reproduced free of charge in any format or media without requiring specific permission."[1] --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 05:01, 17 November 2023 (UTC)
- SandeepKumarMeena does now make a good point, though this was not the claim they made when I declined. The copyright policy actually imposes additional restrictions: "This is subject to the material being reproduced accurately and not being used in a derogatory manner or in a misleading context. Where the material is being published or issued to others, the source must be prominently acknowledged". As Wikipedia would be publishing the material, I understand this to mean the source must be prominently acknowledged, not just copied with no attribution. I'm also not sure how we could guarantee it would never be used in a derogatory manner. The website itself does not claim the material is free of copyright concerns. That said, it could be that the Indian government disclaims copyright on government material, as many but certainly not all governments do. I'm not familiar enough with India to know if that's true. --Yamla (talk) 11:13, 17 November 2023 (UTC)
- I just copied template and format from Rajasthan Public Service Commission for the article Rajasthan Staff Selection Board because both the article belongs the same niche. So I can get proper structure for the article. I changed the necessary and general details as per my article which are available on website of the board at https://rssb.rajasthan.gov.in/board, https://rssb.rajasthan.gov.in/about-us I also given enough references for support my article which are from national news portals. SandeepKumarMeena (talk) 11:37, 17 November 2023 (UTC)
- You seem to think it's okay to copy from one Wikipedia article to another, without attribution. That's most definitely false and you need to clearly understand that. Please spend some time reading and understanding WP:COPYRIGHT and WP:FAIRUSE. These are challenging policies to understand, so take your time. Let us know when you have read and thoroughly understood them. --Yamla (talk) 11:42, 17 November 2023 (UTC)
- All the rajasthan state government articles which are from same category share similar templete like infobox, logos. like Rajasthan Public Service Commission, Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan, Rajasthan Police. I didn't keep the info. in infobox and changed it and write information from start by giving references. I JUST COPIED TEMPLETES AND INFOBOXES. SandeepKumarMeena (talk) 11:53, 17 November 2023 (UTC)
