Draft: Feels Like Ishq
Thank you so much for reviewing the draft I made for the Netflix series Feels Like Ishq. I have tried to make the suggested changes by you and also by Doric the previous reviewer.
- Changed the tone - Reworked on reviews - Changed the citations format
As regards notability, the series has been covered on all the leading news sources in India including The Hindu, The Indian Express, NDTV, Outlook India, etc.
Request you to review it again. Thank you so much!
Inappropriate close
I've reverted your inappropriate AfD close of the AfD about Miniminter. Participating editors mustn't close AfDs themselves. This should be left to "uninvolved editors/admins". Please don't do such things in future. ─ The Aafī on Mobile (talk) 09:57, 13 August 2021 (UTC)

Hello,
As I have mentioned the information included in this is written on the plaque installed by the Government of India on the Statue, so also the member of the family told me about the same. FUrther the latest news paper articles associated with the martyr have been annexed for referencing. the photographs of the plaques giving out the entire information in HINDI language have been attached to the draft as references. Kindly let me know if the translations of the same are to be annexed herewith for approval of the page to be published. the family of the martyr is keen to have the history of Nagpur through its 1st martyr be there for anybody to access.
There are several statues raised on various locations by the GOvernmental Authorities across Nagpur CIty recognising his contribution to freedom struggle. for want of printed materials, the facts acknowledged are being denied, which according to me frustrates the very purpose of wikipedia.
Kindly assist me to assist the history to be up there for everyone to access as this is the story of the 1st martyr for freedom struggle from Nagpur CIty.
thank you
Replaceable fair use File:Melvyn Caplan.jpeg
Thanks for uploading File:Melvyn Caplan.jpeg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the file description page and add the text
{{Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}}
below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing<your reason>
with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable. - On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Lord Belbury (talk) 16:07, 13 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Lord Belbury:, I have replaced it with an image of the hill.Sahaib3005 (talk) 16:52, 13 August 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks, I think an admin will delete the image after a few days, maybe sooner now that it's no longer in an article. I've also had a look around online for a photo and can't find one, but it's within the realm of possibility that somebody will take one some day (or that if we emailed him and asked for a public domain photo to use at Wikipedia, he'd provide one). --Lord Belbury (talk) 17:04, 13 August 2021 (UTC)

Rejection
I'm confused. The guy I am trying to put up is a very distinguished curator and archivist, who has curated numerous important museum shows, though admittedly in Italy rather than the US, and on subjects that might not interest you (although Eureka, on Hellenistic science at the Naples National Museum, had an enormous number of visitors). He is way better known than I am, and I have been on Wikipedia for years. Would referencing all of his books help?

Hi Sahaib3005,
It's your friendly neighbor WuTang94 swinging by here. Just a general comment that I felt merging that page just 15 minutes after making that proposal was a bit too hasty, and no notice was given on the main page, which in my opinion (others might feel differently) was kinda jarring for users as the page suddenly disappeared. The guidelines here at Wikipedia:Merging might give some insight.
Thanks, --WuTang94 (talk) 18:23, 15 August 2021 (UTC)
- PS. Usually I see discussions kept open for about a week before they get closed out.
- I'm not quite sure what is going on here, but I noticed that List of DC Comics characters: P and List of minor DC Comics characters both have an entry for "Puppeteer" with a redirect hatnote. It looks like the intention is for the "minor" list to eventually go away. If that happens, the target of Puppeteer (comics) will need to be changed. If the merger fails, then the error at Category:Articles with redirect hatnotes needing review will resolve itself when everything is put back the way it was. It's very confusing to have duplicated text like this. Please try to follow procedures in the future. Notifying WuTang94 also. MB 05:20, 17 August 2021 (UTC)
Bkurrengel moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Bkurrengel, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Sahaib3005, I see that you returned and repassed this nomination despite telling me that you would not do any further GA reviews. I do not feel that you adequately addressed the tone issue raised by Kingsif, and the lead section doesn't meet the requirement to meet MOS:LEAD, and demonstrably falls short with the MOS:LEADLENGTH section. The review was written in a very short period of time, given how long the article itself is, and not a single change was requested. It is in generally good shape, but I've yet to see an article that didn't have typos or a sentence or two that lapsed from "clear and concise". I have reverted you once again, and request that you do not return to this nomination even though I see that you were encouraged to do so by the nominator, Czar.
If you have your heart set on becoming a GA reviewer, once you gain more experience of Wikipedia article editing in general and the GA nomination process in general, I'd like to suggest that you find a mentor who can give you advice and check your work prior to making any final declarations of passage or failure. It's a useful way to learn what to look for and how the criteria are applied. BlueMoonset (talk) 03:19, 16 August 2021 (UTC)
- @BlueMoonset:, ok I won’t do anymore GA reviews. The only reason I did this one was because Czar messaged me about it (in the archives). Bye Sahaib3005 (talk) 06:37, 16 August 2021 (UTC)
Draft:George E. Valley Jr.
My brother and I submitted a new article on our father, George E. Valley, jr. Neither of us have submitted to Wikipedia before and we are having difficulty understanding what to do.
The first draft we submitted was declined on March 4, 2021:'
"Draft:George E. Valley Jr. Submission declined on 4 March 2021 by Jenyire2 (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia. Declined by Jenyire2 5 months ago.
• Comment: Requires more sources Jenyire2 20:57, 4 March 2021 (UTC) • Comment: Please insert inline citations - please have a look at Help:Referencing for beginners. CommanderWaterford (talk) 16:33, 28 February 2021 (UTC)"
Based on these comments we added 10 inline citations to what we consider authoritative web sites. This newer draft was rejected onAug 9, 2021:
"Submission declined on 9 August 2021 by Sahaib3005 (talk). This submission is not adequately supported by reliable sources. Reliable sources are required so that information can be verified. If you need help with referencing, please see Referencing for beginners and Citing sources."
The new instructions request more references. We can add more references, but consider the present draft sufficient. Are more references needed or is there another problem?

That is they are direct links to quoted articles from MAJOR newspapers like The Times, The LA Times, The NY Times & major magazines such as Vanity FAir and Glamour UK. All the information in the article is sourced and confirmable on these major news sites. How more reliable can I make these sources?
Tastedeath
- @Tastedeath: The person might be notable, I originally declined it because of minor layout issues and not many sources. The subject seems to be only notable for dating Märtha Louise. See wikipedia:INVALIDBIO. I was looking at the sources again and I think he might be notable, so I will accept it.Sahaib3005 (talk) 18:51, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
Hi Sahaib3005 - we appreciate you stepping up and closing this MfD, but I think you may have made a bad call here. I'm not entirely sure how you arrived at no consensus given the in-depth reasoning multiple editors had made. I'd strongly recommend you reverse your closure. ~TNT (she/they • talk) 07:50, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
- Concur. Please self-revert the close ASAP. XfD's should remain open for 7 days unless snowball, speedy or withdrawn. No consensus closures should be let to run more than 7 days, if anything. But I do not agree with the no consensus anyway. Please let this run its proper course. Rgrds. --Bison X (talk) 09:19, 26 August 2021 (UTC) (added to, Bison X (talk) 09:49, 26 August 2021 (UTC))
Hi. I strongly recommend you revert this close or it will be heading for WP:DRV. You did not explain your "no consensus" interpretation, and it's a confusing one, as it seems pretty clear to me that a WP:SNOW consensus for deletion was building. I see you're fairly new, so I will assume good faith, but non-admins should generally not be closing deletion discussions unless they have a great amount of experience. I strongly recommend you revert your close and review WP:NAC before making such closes in the future. ― Tartan357 Talk 07:52, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
