Heh, Austrialian Actor.

The Agency that casts them is austrialian, because the show is filmed in New Zealand. However, this does not mean they are limited to Austrilia actors only. If they were, we'd have one heck of a weird PR show. They merely post anyone who's been casted for any shows being filmed in Austrilia/New Zealand.

As in the example of Caitlin Murphy : http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1889011/ : Virginian, listed because her role will be filmed in Austrailia. Yes, I can't spell Australia for my life. :( Floria L 01:35, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

Trivia

How were all of my trivia additions in Power Rangers: Lost Galaxy considered "vandalism?"

They are not really vandalism, but extremely trivial, and you had also removed the clean-up tag in the process. We are trying to put those massive lists into actual sentences and paragraphs, not put more trivia there.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 08:36, 2 November 2006 (UTC)

Thebes

There are no wikipedia standards since there are no policies. There was an editor consensus in User_talk:Aldux to keep Thebes (Egypt) and Thebes (Greece). In the case of Paris, London and the other examples you brought up, those titles are redirects and not main articles. Miskin 00:25, 4 November 2006 (UTC)

I realize that now, but Thebes, Greece and Thebes, Egypt serve the same purpose as Thebes (Greece) and Thebes (Egypt). If you look at other city articles, (San Francisco, California, and pretty much anywhere else in the US) they are set up that way. I realize that there is more than one thebes, but renaming for the sake of renaming is ridiculous.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 00:28, 4 November 2006 (UTC)

Thebes, Egypt is really a misleading name. It implies that there's a city called Thebes in todays's Egypt, whereas in reality it talks about the ancient capital of ancient Egypt, which is nothing but history today. I think it's wrong to use to use the formule X, Y for a city X and a country Y that don't exist anymore. Miskin 10:08, 4 November 2006 (UTC)

Nelson Marek

Hi.

I saw your vote to delete my article regarding Nelson - Marek yacht designers. Please reconsider your position in light of two things:

(1) further editing to the article and further references, and

(2) the proposal for deletion is based on the criteria for a "corporation"; however, Nelson - Marek was a design team and should be evaluated on their contrubution to yachting and yacht design, not their standing as a corporation. I would think that 10 years on an America's Cup design program working with Dennis Conner would be of itself notable; however, N-M is one of the most cited design teams over the last 20 years.

Please note that the editor citing poor search results is using "Merek" rather than "Marek" in the searches. Yes, Merek is a common mispelling which I discovered was incorrect today in performing more research. Ironically, one of the reasons why I wrote this article was because I hear the N-M name mentioned so frequently, but have seen so little history on the team. Having information which few others offer adds strength to Wikipedia.

Thanks!

Second chance for Jaber90

Hi Ryulong, Jaber90 (talk ·  contribs) has been blocked for nearly a month now for his personal attacks and he has informed me that he has already sent you a sincere apology which you haven't responded to yet apparently as well as explaining the events leading up to his outburst on my talk page. As you've probably figured out by now, this was a sock of the admin User:Konstable. I want to allude to a comment you made about how he said "ZOMG FUCK SEX FUCK SEX". I didn't find it in his contributions, and figured you'd goofed. But now that I know he was an admin, he might have deleted these comments. I'm not out to get Konstable, but he is being very loud about how unfair it was that his sock was banned; if it's true he made these comments, I would really like to know. I think this may be the case, as his talk page history no longer shows any mention of the comments you made on them. Thanks. -Patstuart(talk)(contribs) 18:59, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

4chan

I give you the award for "Faster Edit Revert" EVER for reverting my edit in less than a minute! No, really. Amazing. As for the edit itself, 4chan has been dead for several times, and the "is dead again" just plays with that fact. The site is down, therefore dead. Again. you're free to revert that, but stop screaming and yelling at people just because you don't agree with a valid and informative edit for anyone looking for info on current state. I could as well edit the links and put "DOWN" on 4chan.org with last checked date today. Remember, you don't hold the Inifinite Truth for edits, nor you ahve any right to yell at people for them. Next time, revert an edit stating VALID REASONS and polite rebuttal of it. In short, I'm ashamed of seeing what looks like a very valid and hard working contributor of wikipedia behave like a /b/tard. Kry 22:46, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

Wikipedia is not here to report that a website is down, when that is extremely common. 4chan dies several times. It'll be up either tonight, or tomorrow. That's all.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 22:47, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
4chan deaths ARE part of 4chan information, actually. Unreliability of servers and bad admin as it might be, even 4chan's own main page was stating "not dead yet!" for the last months. I'd love to know your source of information on the lenght of the downtime and its reasons, now that you seem so confident that it will be right back. Wikipedia is a dynamic service and repository of information, and the fact a website is down is absolutely right in place. What could be more important for a website than the fact it's DOWN? It's the most important thing that can happen to it next to being slashdotted, which would end up in being down anyway. Now, on a more serious note, this discussion would ahve never happened if your edit had a message suitable for a revert, instead of a "NO U"-like self-righteous yelling. Look closer at your browser's url. This is not /b/. Kry 22:53, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

This is an utterly unremarkable occurrence. Who cares? 4chan goes "down" for short periods pretty much as a weekly event. We don't need to keep a running ticker of their current server status. --tjstrf Now on editor review! 23:05, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

Yes, I agree that... no, wait, I don't. The migration of users to 7chan, the edits on the talk page, and the fact everyone is going WTF IS GOING ON on irc channel mean this is indeed not a common event. Small downtimes, sure, slowness, sure, but not a serveral-hours downtime has happened in some time, in EVERY server in the site (not just img, or zip, but every single server that hosts 4chan). While I agree that we don't need to keep such a running ticket, and my edit was actually in good faith to AVOID further edits and talk page disruption (notice the "for unknown reasons" in it), and I feel highly amused by this healthy discussion. However, Ryūlóng has been warned several times in the past about being too trigger happy with reverts and deletion, and this one is a good example of how NOT to handle a revert (unpolite, no talk page discussion, etc). I was just pointing that out in his talk page, not publically on the 4chan's talk page, tho I might just do that next time. On a side note, please don't duplicate messages and information, it only wastes space (read: don't message me the edits you do in other sites like you did right now). If I'm interested in something, rest assured I'll notice it. Kry 23:14, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
It is unremarkable. Moot forgot to pay his bills, and the site's going to be down for up to two days. This is not really that notable. Now, have fun editting something other than "ZOMG 4CHAN'S DOWN"—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 02:23, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
Of course, you know that now, not before. And please, leave the self-righteous assholiness elsewhere. It's getting old, Mr Big Guy. Kry 04:08, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
It was unremarkable before he confirmed it as well. --tjstrf Now on editor review! 05:00, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

[3], [4], [5]. Now that probably warrants a {{3RR}} reminder, don't you think? Or do we block people for giving {{3RR}} reminders now?--AlternativeAccountK 05:55, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

Number 1 is a revert to get rid of a lot of crufty stuff. Number 2 I should have labeled myself, as it was the replacement of a closed parenthesis. Number 3 is another cruft revert. Now, Konstable, I'm working on a Marine Bio lab report. Unless you can answer the following question, I'm going to go back to work:

Sub-lethal effects of a toxicant are often more important to assess than acute LD50's. Describe one experiment that could be used to assess the long term effects of caffeine on Artemia salina. What parameters would you monitor? What doses would you use? Why?

Ryūlóng (竜龍) 06:04, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
Wonderful. Now. Good. What in {{3RR}} is so offensive that it inspires people to report people to AIV with phony reasons? "self-admitted sockpuppet, closing AfDs" - those are not exactly blockable are they. And why would you go around telling people that I put in "ZOMG FUCK SEX FUCK" or whatever into an article when you clearly saw the page and know what was going on there?--AlternativeAccountK 06:19, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
Well, it was a talk page for one of the articles (can't be too sure of which one) and it was an obvious text dump used to try and get the article deleted (afterwhich I listed it for {{db-talk}}). And when I get vandalism warnings here, it's either retaliatory (if I had the time to find a diff instead of procrastinate, I would), or somewhat suspicious. You fell under column B last night.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 06:30, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

Split

I think that the "episodes" section of the Power Rangers template is too long and doesn't really aid in navigation. I propose splitting it into a {{Power Rangers episodes}} template and a link to the "List of" page, similar to how Villians and Zords are done. Agree? Hbdragon88 07:24, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

Frankly, I think that a good portion of those episodes can be outright removed from the main template and only list key episodes (if we can decide on such a group).—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 07:33, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
It would still be too numerous. If we regard the season opener and finale as key ones (as it appears to be done now), we would have at least 20 entries. Hbdragon88 21:58, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
Nuke those, too. Frankly, each series premiere and finale isn't very notable. "Day of the Dumpster" is, because it is the first. "Forever Red" is because it was the 10th anniversary. Frankly, several other episodes I do not really see as having importance to the series (all of the Tommy-centric episodes from Dino Thunder, the Abaranger dub from Dino Thunder). Mystic Force has its own episode guide, so does SPD, so whatever episodes that have pages from there can be nuked. Use your own discretion at what should and should not be removed from the list.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 22:45, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

Well, I went ahead and prodded most of them, but I'm afraid of going through AFD - Fighting Spirit (Power Rangers) was AFD'd and was overwhelmingly kept due to people saying "well, every other series has an episode per page." Darn ti. We need power. Have you thought about fomring a Power Rangers WikiProject? Then we could say, "Well, WP:PR has decided not to" similar to how the PCP project tried to AFD Here Comes the Squirtle Squad. Hbdragon88 01:21, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

By "Nuke" I meant remove them from the template, not prod. And a tokusatsu WikiProject is in the works, once this semester is over with.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 01:22, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
However those pages certainly can go the way of the dino.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 01:23, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

Wolf Wizard (Koragg, Leanbow)

I was just wondering why my write-up on the debate about Leanbow being a Red Ranger (or a Ranger at all) was removed from the Koragg page. I feel it's relevant to the character, and debates like this are a part of Power Rangers. I can't find what the OR tag means, but you also labeled it POV. I felt like I presented it fairly, with for and against for each side. I can't see where I used a biased POV. If I correct the problem, can this point be put back? I feel like this is a valid point, to be placed either here or on the Red Ranger page. --Gatoronfire4lord 07:32, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

It, much like the same/similar section on the article for the Magna Defender is not really that encyclopedic.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 23:28, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
I would consider it encyclopedic, since it's a question that many people ask. But, I just checked the Other Rangers and Ranger-like Allies page, and that seems like a good place to put all those debates, so that information doesn't crowd every single questionable Ranger page. However, the Wolf Warrior information has not been added to the Koragg section on that page. Further, it seems that Koragg being listed there (with the justification that he at times assisted the Mystic Force Rangers against their common foe, Imperious) is somewhat inappropriate, since he was never truly an ally to the Rangers until he changed into the Wolf Warrior. I have two main suggestions. 1) Move information on Koragg from "Ranger-like allies" page to his character page and replace with similar section on Wolf Warrior. 2) Add "Questionable Red Rangers" section to the Red Ranger page, since there does not seem to be a page that addresses this great debate in the Ranger fandom. --Gatoronfire4lord 10:32, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
I've seen the changes on the Other Rangers and Ranger-like allies page. Thanks! But some things still confuse me. Magna Defender is listed under both categories. Also, Koragg is listed as an ally but Wolf Warrior is listed as an Other Ranger, even though they are essentially the same thing. I also noticed some clarifications on the Red Ranger page that address the debatable Red Rangers. Thanks! --Gatoronfire4lord 11:26, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for the message. Maybe I'm splitting hairs here, but my real question is...are Mike Corbett, Leanbow, and Daggeron "Other Rangers" or "Ranger-like allies"? Your definition seems to be "a person capable of changing into a powered state that is part of the Ranger team, but not one of the primary colors." I guess what I'm saying is...if they don't CALL themselves a Ranger (Red RANGER, Gold RANGER, Yellow RANGER), are they Rangers? Magna DEFENDER. Solaris KNIGHT. Wolf WARRIOR. Lemme say it like this. You have Clare listed as a Ranger-like ally. What's the difference between her and Wolf Warrior? They both morph and fight with the Rangers. This is becoming, at least to me, less of a "what a page says" question and more "Does the Ranger section of Wiki have a stance on this, and SHOULD it?" question. --Gatoronfire4lord 10:54, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

That the page is extremely short and does not really need a table of contents to browse through a list?—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 09:53, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
The article is NOT extremely short. I do not always use a TOC to browse through a page. Now your going to pull a subjective argument on me, but as an editor, that is not what I only use a toc for. In other situations, I use the TOC for different things; The TOC has more than one function.100110100 10:00, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
Well, now the article is even shorter after I cut out some sections that are really unrelated and unecessary, and the TOC disappeared with it.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 10:01, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
I've looked at what you cut out, but I think you should include what you cut out back in. I've also looked at your edit summary concerning 03:44, November 12, 2006 more closely. You are very right about '...just because the page got another heading...'. Unfortunely, in this world, headings are good. They are for organization. TOCs are good for that [too]. It lists how the article is organized. I hope you will actually revert your cuts. I believe they are part of the article, or maybe they should be mained? For me, I think always include information. As much as you can. The more the merrier, and it really is true in wikipedia.100110100 10:14, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

Common, I know you're acting in good faith there. But the way you present it does not seem like that at times. (Oh look, I'm back, oh wait... No I'm not, just dropping by to check on things). --AlternativeAccountK 09:36, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

Which situation is this now?—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 09:42, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
That was more of a general statement. But I noticed some guy on my watch list with numerical things in his username whom you reverted because he remove the {{sprotect}} tag while adding his comment. And then you removed his comments from your own talk page too. (oh lookie, I just got blocked again, heh, lucky I couldnt be bothered filing to get my sysop removed).--AlternativeAccountK 09:51, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
I thought it was a simple "{{sofixit}}" situation, which he did not understand until I told him to be bold (and he also saw my edit summary, pasted it somewhere, and realized what I was trying to tell him).—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 09:52, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
So hard to stay unblocked with these usernames around here. I know one guy who's doing it successfully somehow... and he votes on AfDs and he closes AfDs, I think I just have bad luck... Anyway, I'm not stalking you, was just dropping by and saw that (your talk page) on my watchlist (which is part of me weaning myself off the addiction). Now even a quick drop by my watchlist generates a pointless AN/I thread, god, I guess I shouldn't do even that. Thanks for your comments on that thread by the way.--Konst.ableTalk 10:53, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

I8?100110100 10:57, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

I guess I could wait

I'm accustomed to tagging orfud as soon as I've orphaned them, but if you're going to be shuffling them to toher articles, I'll wait for a little bit.

Also I still think that they're decorative (Other Rangers and Ranger-like allies). I think that linking would achieve the same effect; there are, after all, a ton of Other Rangers. Hbdragon88 23:46, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
They are indicative of the two different groups listed there. While there are many of each, they can have been chosen as representatives of both groups.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 01:20, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

What's the policy?

I'm confused to who gets an article. I thought all series post-Zordon only had on "list of" characters page. I merged Mike Corbett and Ryan Mitchell into their respective "list of" pages as a rsult. I realize now that Mike Corbett is probably a little misleading, as the Magna Defender is not a true Ranger (he isn't called the Magna Ranger), but Ryan Mitchell is definitely a Ranger and shouldn't be given his own page just because he's the "sixth ranger" (even if he's a new one). Now I'm seeing more and more - why does Sky Tate and Cole Evans and some other characters get their own pages, while some are in the "list of"? Is there some kind of agreed-upon sentiment for these kinds of pages? Hbdragon88 01:06, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

No. All series post-Zordon only have character pages listed at Template:Power Rangers Characters. Otherwise, people just make articles that we link elsewhere.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 01:21, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

I know that, but people can still make article and link them with Main? Should that be encouraged or do we just go after them and reverse them back to just the main character page? Hbdragon88 01:25, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

Unless it's absolutely necessary for page length, then a main article may not be necessary.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 01:27, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
Any article that's too long has too much cruft, speculation, and original research in my opinion, and could easily be trimmed down. Hbdragon88 01:32, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
Well, those damn infoboxes are crufty, but that's all I really hate.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 01:34, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

A necessary evil, I think, if we're going to allow of the Zordon era characters to all have their own articles. Hbdragon88 01:43, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

Well, it depends on some that have become too long to not need their own article, like Nick, Udonna, and Koragg. I'm ready to spin off a Ten Terrors article, if necessary.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 01:45, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

More Power Rangers

I think that the entire Mighty Morphin' rangers could all be compressed into one major mega article - with the exception of Tommy and Catherine, everybody had been kicked off or left before the Zeo arc began (I believe). I recognize the need to have separate articles for the Zeo/Turbo/Space arc - for the most part they served 1 and a half seasons (the new guard came int hte middle of Turbo), which means that it would be hard to decide which "list of" article they would go on. But Mighty Morphin'? All contianed within one series arc. Hbdragon88 02:39, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

I don't think that would be best in this situation. All of the characters prior to Zordon's death (as well as anything before Disney's purchasing) had some level of character development that could require separate pages.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 02:46, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

Well, since you're opposed, I'll do it on a separate user subpage and present the results when I finish (which might be a long, long time). Hbdragon88 02:54, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

Wait a minute, you think Disney's acquisition turned the show to crap? As for me, I couldn't even finish Time Force - when Fox Kids dissolved its weekday schedule I was out of the loop. I only caught a few episodes of Wild Force and Ninja Storm, and hated both due to the excessive use of CGI and glitzy morphing sequences. Hbdragon88 03:07, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

Well, Mystic Force didn't have much character development (and the characters that do were given separate pages) and a lot of the other characters didn't have much else with them. You probably shouldn't touch Trini (everyone's still a bit touchy about Trang's death, IIRC) and pretty much anyone pre Lost Galaxy has a crapload of information on them spread out among several pages.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 03:10, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

Well, you've persuaded me otherwise, so I'll leave those articles intact. I'll probably just do some cleanup and tightening (and deploying that infobox) after I get done with copyediting the villain pages of the four series that I'm most familiar with (IS, LG, LSR, TF). Hbdragon88 08:34, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

Proper goodbye

Hi, this is Konstable (I hope I don't get blocked for posting this D:) I initially announced that I was leaving with an intention of taking a loooong break, and maybe returning in a few months. This recent nonsense means that any return is rather impossible and I am more than unwelcome here. It was not easy to leave Wikipedia in the first place, but I was initially happy after doing that out of my free will, but these accusations of me working to harm Wikipedia have been nothing short of the worst insult I have had to face not just on Wikipedia, but in the entire year. A spit in the face, with all the contributions I've made and time I've sacrificed.

I assure you that I would never try to impersonate you (see my response regarding that on the nonsene arbitration case). And I am sorry for any annoyance I had caused you with AltUser, those edits were intentionally bold but I did not intend it to be disruptive in any way, though some people interpreted it to be that (I still don't quite know what's wrong with closing obvious AfDs). And I assure you that I was not intentionally trying to get blocked. I was expecting to see some rough remarks maybe, but that's all.

So this is goodbye, keep up the good work, I wish you the best of luck and I hope Wikipedia can improve.--203.109.209.49 03:23, 13 November 2006 (UTC) (This IP is shared and not quite static, changes every few weeks, so please don't respond on the IP talk page)

Comment deletion

Hey Ryu. If I could ask you something: you seem a little quick to delete semi-valid comments from your talk page sometimes (e.g., [6], or the one that Konstable (under alternate account #2) mentioned a week or so back). Without trying to sound rude, I think some deletions like this have been what has caused people to call you a little "trigger happy." Isn't it better to lean on the side of cautious and let them stay? If I'm wrong, please let me know - I know sometimes a blatant vandal will line up, and you can only keep their contrib page open and keep clicking the rollback button. Hope I don't sound too harsh - only want this to be constructive criticism. -Patstuart(talk)(contribs) 02:20, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

The user was placing a false complaint against Konstable at the RFAr talk about two pages that were salted in process. DVD-RW then blocked him because he was then wiki-stalking me, and it was determined that he's a sock of Dormantfascist. I do let them stay, but as the header says, I archive at my own discretion, and I did read what he said to me. I just do not choose to let that discussion stay, because he is somewhat trolling.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 02:25, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
OK, fair enough in this case, I guess. Patstuart(talk)(contribs) 02:28, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
I know a good portion of Konstable's departure did put me in a bad light, but sometimes users are just trolling. "Articlecleanser" should probably have been some sort of a usernameblock, but I might just be a bit out of my element tonight. I'm trying to keep registered users from putting a speculative cast list from an article on a television series which hasn't aired yet, and no one takes "a picture doesn't prove anything" seriously.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 02:30, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

I read it, but I could not find it. Most importantly, you cannot judge this. It should be listened by everyone's opinion. Thus, it should be discussed about it.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Hairwizard91 (talkcontribs) .

Nothing specific is mentioned there. Just general rules. And "Japanese occupation of Korea" is a better title when written in English. Certainly not "Illegal Japanese Occupation" or "Korea under Japanese Rule." I am a native speaker of English. I can tell that you are not. Just please leave the article where it is at its more English name. And if you do not sign your next reply, I will not reply to it.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 07:51, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

Why specific adjective cannot be used ? Is it rule of Wiki? I dont think so. --Hairwizard91 07:54, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
Again, you misunderstand me. "Illegal Japanese occupation" is not very descriptive, and "illegal" is not what you think it means. The same goes for "forcible Japanese occupation." Just read the various article naming guidelines, and then get back to me.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 07:57, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
So, what illegal or forcible exactly means in english?--Hairwizard91 08:02, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
Illegal means "against the law." Forcible means "with force." While the latter is a better word, it is not as descriptive as the other title.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 08:03, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
Ok when a native speaker says that it is not descriptive. Thanks. --Hairwizard91 08:08, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

Hey, thanks for checking out the page on the coaster. It is a new page, and I am working on cleaning it up as we speak. As to the name. The name of the coaster is French, as are all other Disneyland Paris unique rides (see listings for other attractions at the park), and thus, it shoud be treated as a French name. Roller Coaster Database (rcdb.com) has it listed as Indiana Jones et le Temple du Péril as do other semi-official sites. Thanks. Bytebear 23:35, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

I see that, however the images that you use for the article use the English name of the ride. If you know of other such articles on Wikipedia about Disney Paris attractions, please cite them to me here, and I'll revert he move if necessary.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 23:41, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
If I find another logo, I will gladly replace it. Here are some other Disneyland Paris attractions:
I agree, it is a hodge podge of English and French, as Alice's Curious Labyrinth is in English. All other attractions in English have Disneyland/WDW counterparts. Interestingly enough, the links on the Disneyland Paris page are in French even when the destination page title is in English. This should be cleaned up.
My recommendation: Use French when it is a uniquely French attraction, and use English with the French title in parenthases for all others. This would mean renaming the Alice article, however. The alternative is renaming the Coaster page, the Nautilus page and the Sleeping Beauty Castle article (and possibly merging it). I will look on the official website and see what they have. Please don't re-add CSD tags

Hi, you re-added a CSD tag that I had already removed here. Please be careful not to do that! -- SCZenz 06:04, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

I realize that, but the article does not show any notability requirements. I'll re-prod it, then.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 06:05, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
It is not acceptable to try to get an administrator's decision overridden by re-tagging; instead, talk to the administrator first if you disagree with him or her. Re-prodding would've been fine, of course, but the author already removed a prod. -- SCZenz 06:13, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
The author removed a prod without doing anything. That is not what happens during de-prodding. Regardless, I have sent it to AFD barring the fact that the author made the deletion discussion page before I could get finished with setting it up.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 06:17, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
Although the user should have said why he removed the tag, please take a look at: WP:PROD#Conflicts. If the tag is removed for any reason except blanking or blatant vandalism, the next step is AfD. -- SCZenz 06:28, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
I see that now. I apologize. However, I've sent it to AFD now, and then it will be dealt with further.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 06:53, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
I believe it will probably be deleted, and I think I agree with that (although I probably won't personally do the research on that, because it's best now to let others look at the article). That being the case, I'd like to explain briefly why I made an issue of this, apparently for nothing: there's a difference between what is undoubtedly not good material, and what I personally think should be deleted but could probably use another set of eyes. The CSD are rigid on the point that, as an admin, I'm only allowed to delete the former. Hence I agree that AfD'ing was the right thing; we all learn a bit and move on. :) -- SCZenz 06:59, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

Thanks

Thank you for reverting the attack on my talk page.-Localzuk(talk) 15:16, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

Classes, Seriously . . .

Are classes an actual reason for a good number of these bio articles we get? -WarthogDemon 06:21, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

No. Just lame excuses.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 06:23, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

Redirects

Regardless, they are useful redirects, so I've turned them into such. John Reaves 07:22, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

Why did you revert the redirects? There is nothing wrong with them, regardless of who made them. John Reaves 08:18, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

Bobababoba on Bulbapedia

I am user: Taylor on Bulbapedia archives. I'm here to warn you about Bobabobabo vandalizing Bulbapedia. You need to place this on Wikipedia:Administrators' notice board he needs to be stopped These are all of the sock puppets that have been blocked for the same reason.

  • I warn you that he has made a sock puppet based on your user name. These users above where blocked by user: pie and User: Zhen Lin

http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/User:Pie

He was banned for this reason, does it seem similar?

2. The problem user at first only refused to cooperate with other users and interferred with work by changing all images to the ugly, text-covered blatantly-ripped-from-TV-Tokyo preview images for new episodes. This was annoying, but usually a problem which works itself out pretty quickly. However, the problem user escalated his own problem by failing to listen or cooperate not only with other users but with the moderators, creating revert wars, dodging blockings by creating puppet accounts with proxies, and sending threatening e-mails to people involved in the conflict. All for episode images. Ridiculous, isn't it? The moral of this story is, "The internet is not serious business."

For more information on this conflict please talk to

I was about to contact MrBungle here at Wikipedia, but perhaps you can help me. The Bulbapedia account for Ryulong is mine, and I've just emailed Zhen Lin to try and get it unblocked. Yes, that is Bobabobabo's email. For more information, you can check out User:Interrobamf/Bobabobabo. Bobabobabo or Aywana or whoever she is has been banned from Wikipedia in both English and Japanese.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 23:14, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
Is this one account yours too http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/User:Ryulong-en ??—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Taylorpedia (talkcontribs) .
No, Ryulong-en is Bobabobabo. It was the name I chose at the Japanese Wikipedia when she had impersonated me as Ryulong (this has since been sorted out and I got my username changed).—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 23:25, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

Jo Jo Megz

Please communicate with me ASAP concerning possible delation of this article. I spent hours trying to get it right, and already had it deleted once while I was in the middle of an edit! User:Mississippi King

Why

Why do you suspect me of being a sock puppet to Bobabobabo? I haven't vandalised any pages. So what i like Yu-Gi-OH does that mean that i'm a sock puppet!? I am innocent. I hope you say that you are sorry. User:MrBungle79 (01:36, 28 November 2006 (UTC))

Accent Overkill

As requested, here are a few accents to go along with your username: Rȳúlöñģ; Řȳủĺöñģ. Enjoy the resulting confusion. Leftmostcat 08:02, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

I've found a better way to utilize it :3—Řÿūłóñģ (竜龍) 08:09, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

Why?

Why did you revert all my changes to the School Spec page? I spent so long on that. Are you even from Australia. Do you even know what the school spectacular is? Chaos kingpin 09:19, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

You removed a lot of information on that page, when it was probably a lot better just to add the new information to it. The information that you were removing is probably still useful to readers.—Řÿūłóñģ (竜龍) 09:20, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

I removed the 2005 program and replaced it with the 2006 program. True, some people may want to see the 2005 program but it seems usuless to include all that information. I figure it better just to include the recent years program, rather than including all programs since 1983. The only other piece of information I deleted was a direct "copy and paste" form the official website, which link is at the bottom of the page. Chaos kingpin 09:25, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

Perhaps you should make a separate page for the old programs.—Řÿūłóñģ (竜龍) 09:26, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

Agreed, Thank you. Chaos kingpin 09:27, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

Bobabobabo's Sockpuppeting

I figured I'd alert you to this since you seem to be keeping track of all her sockpuppets, and since I'm not absolutely familiar with the process for dealing with a user who has so many multiple accounts. I'm having suspicions that a new user account (Ethomas47) that began editing the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX media and release information page and certain images related to the article, is likely another sockpuppet. Based on the user's responses to Mitsumasa's replacement of existing images in the page with newer images that include more source information/policy notes (this can be checked on Mitsumasa's talk page), I see familiar signs of Bobabobabo at work. --Benten 16:50, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

Edit: You know, after checking out Mitsumasa's talk page in detail, it looks as if the account itself could also be a sockpuppet as well in addition to the aforementioned account (ie. it looks as though Bobabobabo is engaging in that behaviour of talking to herself between accounts). --Benten 17:02, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

I'm not sure about Mitsumasa, but Ethomas47 is definitely one.—Řÿūłóñģ (竜龍) 17:52, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
  • One more likely sockpuppet: 64.34.166.230; same sorts of edits, same inability to accept changes to the media and release page, same broken responses (recently posted on my talk page: "would you put back the images if the suck puppetry stops" and reverted the formatting changes regardless). --Benten 21:51, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
I realize that. I also have Mpennington who is an obvious sock.—Řÿūłóñģ (竜龍) 21:52, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

I got a very strange email with some babelfish garbled oversexed German nonsense insults, probably from your wiki-enemy. I guess the best thing is simply delete it, or shall I forward it to you for your collection? BTW: Was it you who created Ryulong accounts on Thai, Lao and Myanmar Wikipedias, or are these from your "friend". As I am admin for Thai I can at least block that account there in case it wasn't you. andy 09:50, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

I registered at Thai, Lao, and Myanmar. I have an account "Ryulong" at every language Wikipedia except for the Korean and Chinese Wikipedias, where she got to me first.—Řÿūłóñģ (竜龍) 22:17, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

MrBungle79 and Bobabobabo

You mentioned on MrBungle79's talk page something about evidence that he's a sockpuppet on Bulbapedia. Could you direct me to that evidence? I suspect that after the email I received from MrBungle79 that it is Bobabobabo, but I'd like to see what this block was based on.  OzLawyer / talk  17:03, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

Based on the fact that an open proxy essentially told me that Bobabobabo was fucking around at Bulbapedia (and that my personal account there got blocked in the process) I saw that a user there was claiming to be a user here who was proven to be Bobabobabo in a prior checkuser performed on an open proxy he/she used to attack me at the Japanese Wikipedia. I put two and two together, and got a block in place.—Řÿūłóñģ (竜龍) 17:46, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
See this edit for why I suspected and the proofŘÿūłóñģ (竜龍) 17:51, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

I edited your latest comment to ANI slightly. I hope you don't mind this slight breach of etiquette, but I'm sure you can understand the reasons why... Apologies. yandman 17:07, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

I meant what I said. Those are screennames that teenaged girls who happen to be of African descent would make. It's just easier to say "black" than "African-American" as this is an international site.—Řÿūłóñģ (竜龍) 22:20, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

Power Rangers

Why the frell are you deleteing posts in the Power Rangers section?74.195.3.11 18:34, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

Because they have nothing to do with discussing the article.—Řÿūłóñģ (竜龍) 21:47, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

Yes, they fucking do. Its about the show, dammit.74.195.3.11 22:46, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

Talk pages are used for discussing changes to the article, not the subject of the article. Asking about if the toys went on sale is not discussing changes to the article.—Řÿūłóñģ (竜龍) 22:47, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

That's whack. If it concerns the show it concerns everything including its merchandise. Sorry for coming off like an ass, ONCE AGAIN, :P. I still get my present right?74.195.3.11 04:21, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

No. The talk page is used to discuss changes to the article. It is not a fan forum.—Řÿūłóñģ (竜龍) 04:22, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

We'll see. Either way, that's not making very much since.74.195.3.11 16:34, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

Talking about the toys ≠ talking about changing the article. End of discussion.—Řÿūłóñģ (竜龍) 16:39, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

No it's not, because what I said makes valid discussion, if that wasn't the case would Rangerboard and many other forums permit it? Or are you just being as jack?74.195.3.11 04:19, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

Read Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines. Talk pages are not for discussing the subject of the article. You don't go to Talk:Pornography and ask where to find porn. You go there to discuss changes to Pornography the article. The same goes for all talk pages. Talk pages are not forums.—Řÿūłóñģ (竜龍) 04:21, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

Depends. What type of porno we're talking about?74.195.3.11 17:17, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

PRWeb

Not as colorful as the above, but I am clarifying the PRWeb vs PR Web redirect reversal. Please visit PRWeb.com if you need confirmation of proper company name (it's PRWeb, not PR Web). I feel helpless here in trying to get my company name properly used here. Regards joeb at prweb dot com.

Well, you can go about doing that through a requested move as the move cannot be done by a normal user.—Řÿūłóñģ (竜龍) 03:37, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for the info. Will do.

I read the procedures and still have no idea how to do it. I guess the erroneous pages will stand. Meh. At least the copy in the pages contains the correct name.

Sign your comments, dude.04:19, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
