What was the meaning for this edit?--HDman (talk) 22:34, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
- It's unneeded. The Rypcord. 22:35, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
- I guess all other edits like that in other article is unneeded then huh?--HDman (talk) 22:40, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
- Regardless if its put under NOTES, TRIVIA, or in the article. It is still just that - TRIVIA. It is unneeded. The Rypcord. 22:42, 22 November 2007 (UTC)

- Maybe you should re-read WP:TRIVIA, it says Trivia sections are discouraged and Trivia (if possible) should be apart of the article.--HDman (talk) 22:44, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
- If needed or warranted. Which this is not. You can state and list all the guidelines you want, but the point is pretty mute, its unneeded. Its nothing but direct trivia for the sake of trivia. It adds nothing to the article. It adds no new or needed information. It is trivia that should be removed as it is a waste of space. The Rypcord. 22:46, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
- Please stop trying to start an edit war. The Rypcord. 22:46, 22 November 2007 (UTC)

- Whatever you say 'bub'. But it greatly appears like your attempting to start an edit war, over something so stupid and trivial. At any rate - I'm off to go actually enjoy the company of my family on Thanksgiving. You have fun on the computer. The Rypcord. 22:52, 22 November 2007 (UTC)

Stacy Keibler height
[edit]Please stop reverting my edit to this article. Many sources on google-web tell that Keibler is 5'11" in height. In European metric systems, she is listed as 180 and 181 cm. 5'10" in not 180cm by the way. D@rk K (talk) 17:13, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
- Please see also: [1] --- D@rk K (talk) 17:14, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
- Then source the article. Or thus it will be reverted. The Rypcord. 17:17, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
- OK, here is one source of her height. You can find many sources about Stacy's height as 5'11". Just type Stacy Keibler height into the google-web. D@rk K (talk) 18:13, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
- Place the source into the article. Not here. In the article where it belongs. The Rypcord. 18:15, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
- Done. Thanks for your cooperation. Cheers. D@rk K (talk) 20:20, 24 November 2007 (UTC)

Princess Leia edits
[edit]Why'd you delete my edits concerning Princess Leia's slave outfit? I wasn't trying to vandalize, I'd done much research, and I thought it was encyclopedic. What did I do wrong? (Please reply here, there [2], or at my talk page.) — Cinemaniac (talk) 15:03, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
- I didn't delete it... I restored it from a deleted version. So unless yours got edited before the deleted version, because I only undo-reverted once. So yours must have gotten edited more than one edit back. Thus the problem. Sorry for not doing a further search back. The Rypcord. 15:31, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
Hummelstown, PA
[edit]I noticed you removed my "citation needed" for the part regarding Hummelstown as being 61st best town and didn't actually provide a proper citation. Additionally i think the source itself is incorrect based upon the fact that the new york times has all articles dating back from 1981 online and there is no mention of a "top cities list". I left more details in the talk page. Also, I am not certain but I think it may have been 2005 when it was named #61, but I didn't want to change it since I'm not positive.
Please try to provide a proper source from the New York Times or whatever publication it came from.
Thank you. Tunafizzle (talk) 16:58, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
- When I see the Mayor tommorrow, I will ask him what publication it is from. I know for a fact it's not from the NYTimes (why would you even assume it was?). It might have been LIFE or TIME. I am pretty sure it was 2006 since all of the town's billboards and bulletins and such had it all throughout '07 and just now removed them (within the last month or two). The Rypcord. 17:10, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
- If I were able to source billboards/bulletins of a town, I would, I know thats the main gist of the sourcing. But as I said, when I see the Mayor (not being sarcastic, I will be seeing him tommorrow), I will ask him what publications it came from. I am not sure it came from the NYTimes although the article states that. I believe it was more from LIFE or TIME. The Rypcord. 17:17, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
Yeah I remember seeing on one of the exit signs "you are now leaving the 61st best town in america" or something and in a brochure. I suspect forbes since i'm fairly certain they do an annual list of ""100 best places to live". I'm almost certain it isn't the NY Times but it could be life or time. But you were the one that suggested the NY Times when you added the following text:
"Hummelstown was named the 61st best town in the United States of America to live in, in 2006 as voted on by the New York Times in association with Time and several other high-profile magazines."
The way it is currently worded suggests that it was voted 61st by a collaberation of the NY times and Time and Life and other publications. But in this conversation you are saying it may have been Time or Life, so I'm a little lost:
.......in, in 2006 as voted on by the New York Times in association with Time, Life, and several other high-profile magazin......
Anyway, I'm sure Mr. Miller should know or someone in the historical society. I'll ask around as well if Brad Miller isn't sure. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tunafizzle (talk • contribs) 04:25, 9 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit]Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly, as you are doing at Futurama: Bender's Big Score. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. Rather than reverting, discuss disputed changes on the talk page. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. Thank you.
You've actually violated it as well as the other user, so to be fair, I have to warn you. If he keeps reverting, I'll have no choice but to report it, and you will likely be banned to. And, you're not excused because it's technically a content dispute and not vandalism. -- Scorpion0422 05:07, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
- It's vandalism and it's original research. Just like Someguy083 stated on the talk-page. The Rypcord. 05:08, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
- No, it's a content dispute. Unless it's obvious 100% vandalism, the admins consider everything to just be a content dispute. -- Scorpion0422 05:13, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
- By the way, you don't have to worry about me reporting it unless the other user continues to readd the text. However, I think he's done with the reverting for now. -- Scorpion0422 05:18, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

Contributions to Royal Rumble (2008)
[edit]Please do not delete the background. It is meant to show week to week events leading up to the pay-per-view to show just how personal the match will be. GuffasBorgz7 (talk) 15:28, 4 January 2008 (EDST)
- Don't condescend me. I am quite aware of what I was doing and what you were attempting to do. Wikipidia is not a source of week-to-week events. For biographies, events, storylines, etc, you give an overall lay-out, not a week-to-week. Check with Spyke, Gavin, etc. The Rypcord. 14:02, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
Your GA nomination of Hummelstown, Pennsylvania
[edit]The article Hummelstown, Pennsylvania you nominated as a good article has failed , see Talk:Hummelstown, Pennsylvania for reasons why the nomination failed. If or when these points have been taken care of, you may apply for a new nomination of said article. If you oppose this decision, you may ask for a reassessment. Rt. 15:19, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
Star Wars game and ELO rating
[edit]At ELO rating system, you made an additon about a Star Wars game that uses the ELO rating system. Today someone added Star Wars Battlefront - do you know if it uses the ELO rating system? Bubba73 (talk), 19:43, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
- Don't know, never played Battlefront. During Decipher's control of SW:CCG they employed the ELO ranking system for all of their tournaments (assigning locals, states, nationals, worlds, different K values and such). That is my extent of the knowledge. The Rypcord. 03:48, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks, an anon user with only that edit added it a a game that uses ELO. I'm tempted to delete it, but I'd like to find out. For now I'm asking for a citation. Bubba73 (talk), 04:01, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
Sorry about the quick nomination, if you can show that the topic is notable through having recieved significant coverage by reliable secondary sources independent of the subject I'll withdraw it. Guest9999 (talk) 18:18, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
- Ok, will do. The Rypcord. 18:20, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
- Do you have any sources for this? If so, get them in the article, quick, or it'll be deleted again. NawlinWiki (talk) 18:26, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
AfD nomination of Shattered Time
[edit]I have nominated Shattered Time, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Shattered Time (2nd nomination). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. ukexpat (talk) 18:29, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Shattered Time
[edit]A tag has been placed on Shattered Time, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. ukexpat (talk) 18:35, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

GA nomination of Hummelstown, Pennsylvania
[edit]Once again, this article has to be quick-failed because of its "complete lack of reliable sources" - see Wikipedia:Verifiability. There are only three references for this piece - virtually the same number as when the article was reviewed back in January, thus making it ineligible for Good Article consideration.
This policy reads: "Material that is challenged or likely to be challenged, and all quotations, must be attributed to a reliable, published source." The last reviewer suggested the article needed a minumum of 40 reliable references to help it pass GA, however this concern has not yet been addressed.
There are other problems, too, that I have spotted, which would need tackling before GA status could be considered. For example, Wikipedia does not encourage the use of lists, and would prefer editors to replace these with prose. This article, however, contains several such lists including parks, schools and bars. The 'notable residents' section is also a stubby list, and needs rewriting or leaving out.
Another problem are the many red links. If possible, seperate articles should be created to link in with these or, if the subject is not notable enough to merit a Wikipedia article, then don't link them all.
A good, solid start has been made on this article, but a lot more needs doing to it. For example, Hummelstown obviously has a history stretching back several centuries, so this needs expanding and further referencing.
If you wish you can take this to reassessment to get it discussed by other reviewers and/or other editors. I encourage you to do the steps listed and resubmit when finished. Thank you. Regards, --seahamlass 09:39, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
This list is currently being discussed at WT:FICT under the topic Undue weight on groupins. Your input would be welcome, as there is some debate as to whether the list is sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. --Gavin Collins (talk) 13:21, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
