Deletion
Hi, Rjd0060,
I was looking at the Deletion Log and was surprised to see you deleted dozens of pages in the same minute which couldn't have been done manually. Can you share what tools you use? I'm a relatively new admin and I was just curious how this was done. Thanks. Liz Read! Talk! 21:41, 15 January 2016 (UTC)
- Hi Liz. There are a number of semi-automated tools to assist with batch deletions. In this particular instance I used Twinkle. It is important to note for PROD deletions that they need to be checked individually ahead of time to make sure the PROD tag remained in place for seven days and the other criteria for PROD are met. Rjd0060 (talk) 00:40, 16 January 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks for the information. I don't know about that Twinkle feature. I agree about checking each page for deletion, I just evaluate them one at a time. Liz Read! Talk! 00:59, 16 January 2016 (UTC)

Hello, I wish to restore this page with better content and reliable independent sources. Can I go ahead please. ???

Deletion of Zakaria Rachdi
I came across this article that you deleted yesterday while checking the WikiProject Football article alerts archive for potential inappropriate recreations. According the archive, five years ago the article was PROD'ed and subsequently de-PROD'ed by User:The-Pope. I trust and respect his editor's judgement when it comes to questions of notability guidelines and deletion policy, so I suspect some relevant information got lost in the last five years. Would you mind checking the page's editing history to see what The-Pope's PROD and de-PROD rationales were? Thanks in advance. Sir Sputnik (talk) 18:21, 24 March 2016 (UTC)
- Hello Sir Sputnik. Normally (as you probably know) if an article is de-prodded once it is then forever exempt from the PROD process and AFD must be pusued. However, the prod in 2011 that you mention was actually a BLPPROD which is slightly different. It was voided when references were added as that was the only criteria. Based on this I felt deletion was appropriate given that the new PROD was uncontested. If you have any other questions or wish for it to be restored let me know. Rjd0060 (talk) 18:32, 24 March 2016 (UTC)
- That makes sense. I didn't know that article alerts doesn't distinguish between the two types of PROD. Thanks for clearing that up. Sir Sputnik (talk) 19:33, 24 March 2016 (UTC)
Tower (2016 film)
Is it okay if I restore the edit history of Tower (2016 film)? The film has since premiered at South by Southwest in Austin, Texas and it got a review in Variety magazine. I made a new article but would like to use some of the previous revisions. WhisperToMe (talk) 03:26, 1 April 2016 (UTC)

Hi. I saw your appeal for more OTRS agents. You could start by reinstating my OTRS rights which were withdrawn for 'inactivity' ironically while I was in the middle of handling a delicate BLP issue ! --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 12:05, 11 April 2016 (UTC)

Michael Condon Memorial Award
Hi. I saw you deleted the page for the Michael Condon Memorial Award (AHL) and mentioned a few reasons why it had been deleted. I did find some relevant stuff in web searches, such as Condon's obituary, but I don't know if a severe lack of other non-league wide press releases would prevent another crack at working on a page. If a green light is given on a re-do, would one have to do some major searching in order to find credible sources before it would be considered acceptable? Or is the fact that it's obscure reason enough to delete the page altogether if someone tried again? Mandoli (talk) 00:57, 9 April 2016 (UTC)
- Mandoli, I've restored the article. Rjd0060 (talk) 18:47, 12 April 2016 (UTC)
Image
Hi, I actually asked in the teahouse where I can go and I was sent to the Admin OTRS page. It has taken 10 months (very recent 7 April 2016) for me to locate the photographer of the image that was originally installed 22 May 2015 and then deleted. (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Gary_Kendall.jpg) I do not know if there is enough permission here. Three tickets had to be created to hopefully prove permission. I do not know if the form has been sent in by the photographer yet, sometimes I am not notified they have sent them in. Please let me know, I sure would like this settled and over. I also understand that you are back logged in otrs at the moment, I do understand if this cannot be dealt with at present. Thank you T Heart (talk) 13:42, 12 April 2016 (UTC) Ticket#: 2016041210013061, Ticket#: 2016041010008071, Ticket#: 2016041010008098
- Hello Imasku. The tickets have been recevived and are awaiting processing. You are free to follow up at commons:COM:OTRS/N in the meantime. Note that it could take some time before the permissions are processed and the images tagged. Rjd0060 (talk) 18:47, 12 April 2016 (UTC)
- Thank you for your reply. T Heart (talk) 23:09, 12 April 2016 (UTC)
Hi, I just heard from the photographer and he has sent me the ticket number wikipedia sent him. He was confused by the email which is why he did not contact me, he thought permissions was sending him something else so he waited. Please delete the above ticket numbers, this will be the only one needed, as I really do not wish you or the volunteers wasting time when there is such a back log: Ticket#: 2016040810015423. I am so glad this 10 month search will finally come to an end. Thanks much, appreciated. T Heart (talk) 21:39, 13 April 2016 (UTC)
- I have merged all the tickets together. The volunteer who processes it should be able to understand the situation. Thank you. Rjd0060 (talk) 00:22, 14 April 2016 (UTC)

Baboor Kamme
Hi. I saw you deleted the page for Baboor Kamme and mentioned the reason that it has been unsourced for years. I belong to the community and the Wikipedia page that was deleted was well-documented. For the proof of the existence of the community, you can refer to List of Brahmin Communities : Brahma Samaj [1]. You can also find some relevant stuff in web searches, such as, Open Access Articles [2] and IndiaDivine.org[3], but I don't know whether you expect further citations to review the decision. If the deletion can be reversed, does one need to do some major research to cite further credible sources which can be considered acceptable? Krishna Ramachandra 04:30, 4 May 2016 (UTC)
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. –Be..anyone 💩 02:02, 20 April 2016 (UTC)
Undelete Choice Based Credit System Article
I was not active on wikipedia and therefore could not oppose the PROD and it was expired when I returned. I have a lot of evidence to prove it's notability and it's worth of inclusion on Wikipedia. Thanks Ryan Assefme (talk) 11:45, 1 June 2016 (UTC)
American Nitrox Divers International
The PROD for this somehow escaped my attention. Although the organisation is not one that I have much sympathy for, it is nevertheless a significant international recreational diver training agency, and should have an encyclopedia article. It should have been tagged as part of Wikiproject Scuba diving and as such should not have been Prodded in the first place, as inclusion in a project should imply that at least some of the project members consider it significant enough to keep. Please undelete so it can be brought up to scratch. Cheers, • • • Peter (Southwood) (talk): 07:08, 5 July 2016 (UTC)
- It has been undeleted by another admin after waiting several weeks for a response. During this time you made no edits so I assumed you were on an indefinite wikibreak. Cheers, • • • Peter (Southwood) (talk): 08:03, 28 July 2016 (UTC)
User Concern
Hello. I wasn't sure who to reach out to so since you are the last administrator that last blocked this person's account I wanted to let you know. I saw that user User:64.183.48.206 has been blocked before and they are adding unsourced information again and the same information is also being added by User:2602:306:BDC5:6DC0:3C88:91E7:1AAA:E1B8. I don't want to get in an edit war with this person so I wanted to let someone know. Thank you. LongLiveMusic (talk) 00:08, 14 August 2016 (UTC)
Abdullah Isa Neil Dougan
Can we discuss please your decision to delete the article on Abdullah Isa Neil Dougan? I'm relatively inexperienced with Wikipedia, but it concerns me that a PROD which gives only seven days' notice of intention to delete may not be seen in time by interested parties and stakeholders who visit a page infrequently. In any event, as someone who personally knew Dougan, was a pupil when he was alive and has studied his teachings for almost 40 years, I would immediately and vigorously have objected. Extended confirmed protection
Hello, Rjd0060. This message is intended to notify administrators of important changes to the protection policy.
Extended confirmed protection (also known as "30/500 protection") is a new level of page protection that only allows edits from accounts at least 30 days old and with 500 edits. The automatically assigned "extended confirmed" user right was created for this purpose. The protection level was created following this community discussion with the primary intention of enforcing various arbitration remedies that prohibited editors under the "30 days/500 edits" threshold to edit certain topic areas.
In July and August 2016, a request for comment established consensus for community use of the new protection level. Administrators are authorized to apply extended confirmed protection to combat any form of disruption (e.g. vandalism, sock puppetry, edit warring, etc.) on any topic, subject to the following conditions:
- Extended confirmed protection may only be used in cases where semi-protection has proven ineffective. It should not be used as a first resort.
- A bot will post a notification at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard of each use. MusikBot currently does this by updating a report, which is transcluded onto the noticeboard.
Please review the protection policy carefully before using this new level of protection on pages. Thank you.
This message was sent to the administrators' mass message list. To opt-out of future messages, please remove yourself from the list. 17:49, 23 September 2016 (UTC)
Two-Factor Authentication now available for admins
Hello,
Please note that TOTP based two-factor authentication is now available for all administrators. In light of the recent compromised accounts, you are encouraged to add this additional layer of security to your account. It may be enabled on your preferences page in the "User profile" tab under the "Basic information" section. For basic instructions on how to enable two-factor authentication, please see the developing help page for additional information. Important: Be sure to record the two-factor authentication key and the single use keys. If you lose your two factor authentication and do not have the keys, it's possible that your account will not be recoverable. Furthermore, you are encouraged to utilize a unique password and two-factor authentication for the email account associated with your Wikimedia account. This measure will assist in safeguarding your account from malicious password resets. Comments, questions, and concerns may be directed to the thread on the administrators' noticeboard. A new user right for New Page Patrollers
Hi Rjd0060.
A new user group, New Page Reviewer, has been created in a move to greatly improve the standard of new page patrolling. The user right can be granted by any admin at PERM. It is highly recommended that admins look beyond the simple numerical threshold and satisfy themselves that the candidates have the required skills of communication and an advanced knowledge of notability and deletion. Admins are automatically included in this user right.
It is anticipated that this user right will significantly reduce the work load of admins who patrol the performance of the patrollers. However, due to the complexity of the rollout, some rights may have been accorded that may later need to be withdrawn, so some help will still be needed to some extent when discovering wrongly applied deletion tags or inappropriate pages that escape the attention of less experienced reviewers, and above all, hasty and bitey tagging for maintenance. User warnings are available here but very often a friendly custom message works best.
If you have any questions about this user right, don't hesitate to join us at WT:NPR. (Sent to all admins).MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 13:47, 15 November 2016 (UTC)
ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!
Hello, Rjd0060. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)

Move Metro (design language)
@Rjd0060: I see that you protected the Metro design language article from being moved. I want to make a WP:BOLD move to Microsoft Design Language, as that appears to be the common and official name used by Microsoft and other news sources for at least 3 years, as you can see it is even stated the "Metro" is a defunct name, and there was a trademark dispute causing Microsoft to abandon it. "Blast from the past"?
(Before I get to the point, I'm forced to admit I'm impressed with your mechanism to short circuit bitching & moaning about you deleting articles with expired PRODs. It's certainly worked with me!)
Howdy. Back in August 2015 you deleted John Young (cinematographer) stating "(Expired PROD, concern was: No obvious notability; run-of-the-mill.)" I understand the "Expired PROD" bit. Given that, among other things, the guy has discovered/identified two new parrots, I don't understand the "No obvious notability; run-of-the-mill" bit. Perhaps if you can put a copy of the deleted article into my user space I can work out whether there is scope to address the notability issue? Your thoughts? Notification of pending suspension of administrative permissions due to inactivity
Following a community discussion in June 2011, consensus was reached to provisionally suspend the administrative permissions of users who have been inactive for one year (i.e. administrators who have not made any edits or logged actions in more than one year). As a result of this discussion, your administrative permissions will be removed pending your return if you do not return to activity within the next month. If you wish to have these permissions reinstated should this occur, please post to the Wikipedia:Bureaucrats' noticeboard and the userright will be restored per the re-sysopping process (i.e. as long as the attending bureaucrats are reasonably satisfied that your account has not been compromised, that your inactivity did not have the effect of evading scrutiny of any actions which might have led to sanctions, and that you have not been inactive for a three-year period of time). If you remain inactive for a three-year period of time, including the present year you have been inactive, you will need to request reinstatement at WP:RFA. This removal of access is procedural only, and not intended to reflect negatively upon you in any way. We wish you the best in future endeavors, and thank you for your past administrative efforts. — xaosflux Talk 02:48, 1 March 2018 (UTC)

Episerver Article Deletion
Hello - The Episerver (EPiServer) -- https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=EPiServer&action=edit&redlink=1 -- page was deleted by you in October 2015. The reason is -- "Expired PROD, concern was: No evidence of notability. Only one reference that might possibly be considered independent, and that is no more than an announcement of a business deal."
I am hoping to have this page restored. There is evidence of notability as one of the top web content management systems[4] and ecommerce platforms, and you will see independent references below, including other Wikipedia articles.
