saving your article

[edit]

You need to find where on his official webpage he mentions any information, such as his date of birth, and reference that in the article. You can search for the official websites of any films he has been in, and link to where they list him as in the credits. That'll save the article. He probably meets WP:ACTOR for having two significant roles in notable films. His roles in Abduction and Hostel: Part III seem to be significant. One he was a main villain a notable director cast him in, and the other he was one of the main characters, and both films have Wikipedia articles already. So he is surely notable enough to have a Wikipedia article. Dream Focus 17:06, 8 January 2014 (UTC) Thank you! AlbertBikaj[reply]

Hello BracketBot if you look at serbian literature you will find a lot of lies, especially lies about Albanians. These references are Slavic communist references which are normally against a man which was against them,Prëk Cali was against them,he fought against serbians, and he never cooperate with serbians, these are just story's which were made up by Enver Hoxha's friends. Also Enver Hoxha made up story's about Gjergj Fishta, Padre Anton Harapi, and Albanian Priests. Communism wrote a lot of lies, and if you want to use communistic references than you have to make real heros ,enemies of their country. Like Gjergj Fishta,or Prek Cali,or Anton Harapi and a lot of other martyr's which had been killed by Communist's. I'm sorry for my bad English, and i hope you are going to remove these references ,because if you use them he cannot be longer Hero as he was for real. Im sure you know that communism thrilled story's against everyone who was against them.

Prek Cali

[edit]

Please don't remove referenced text from articles. --Antidiskriminator (talk) 13:30, 21 January 2014 (UTC) Please dont write lies, based on serbian literature! He is Albanian hero, fought against serbia, ottoman empire and communism! These books are written by communists which were paid to write lies about him! Prek Cali was declared "Honor of Albania" in 2010, and in 1993 was decorated by former Presiednt Sali Berisha as "Martyr of Democracy". But if you want keep writing lies. OK[reply]

There is an ocean of sources written by Chetniks that confirm cooperation with Cali. --Antidiskriminator (talk) 07:58, 23 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Look during communism the cooperation with Chetnics was accepted only by communist Albania and Yugoslavia. The truth is that During 1944-5 he was fighting against communsits with a lot of Kelmendi tribe alons side. The book of Dr. Luigj Martini its not a theory book but a history book based in REAL facts, this book is accepted officially in Albanian institute of History.

"Prek Cali wasn't known for being a politician, but for his bravery and for being active during national awaking ,and attended all wars against different enemies, like Ottoman Empire ,Serbia,Montenegro and Albanian Communist(1908,1911,1913,1944,1945). Here you got a paragraph from Dr.Luigj Martini book "Prek Cali dhe kelmendasit" which i tried to translate as better i could.

"Prek Cali historically memory did not entered for any merit to the high post but by being active in the flow of events of a very delicate period of years as it was the creation of the Albanian state , to come to the determination of borders state administrators (Which he protected), and it was unfairly denied memory in 1944 when the communist regime of prejudice in advance . So it usually happens when the winners write the history . During my research it happened to hear more about the figure and authority findings of Prek Cali . I found sources for his own good personality , and malicious sources written by malicious authors. Undoubtedly, some of these estimates are true and not and a lot of it are not true. Throughout the dictatorship regime,it was carefully covered the truth of personality and especially the events of the war that brought many victims in Kelmend .During dictatorship regime the historically events were misinterpreted in the extreme that you were deliberately to destroy Prek Cali's heroic image. Many author wrote about Prek Cali during the dictatorship . They have stereotyped as typical Bayraktar who was evil. With regret the Malësia e Madhe rhapsody calls blind all those who write what were dictated and not the truth, making spokesman of falsified History. You can say whatever you want about Prek Cali, but you cannot never describe him as a bayraktar, exploiter or traitor(chetnik cooperator). Primarily the portrait he presents spiritual, physical, brave, intelligent and organizer of the "Malësia e Madhe" and "Kelmend". He gave his contribution to Albania according to the circumstances as his judge, regardless of the little mistakes he remains in a unique place on the altar of the history of Albanian Nationalis, which always will be remembered as notable personality of Albania." [1] I hope that after reading this you will remove cooperation with chetniks which is not true story. --AlbertBikaj (talk) 11:13, 23 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please dont use propagandist information about Prek Cali, authors of books were pro-partisans and anti-chetniks,so they made up story's against chetniks and Albanian Hero. If you use communist or chetnick books you will disinformation people! Also, every albanian hero is bad,and these which you wrote about Prek Cali are just Conservative theory's,because he was Albanian hero, and not a traitor,or cooperator with serbian chetnicks! All these storys are just made up! There are not "thoughts" of Luigj Martini,or M. Frasheri, thatch official true story of Prek Cali, the rest are just propaganda!AlbertBikaj (talk) 23:16, 15 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Prek Cali

[edit]

The Cooperation with Chetniks its just a thrilled story by communists. Because Prëk Cali and his whole family fought against all serbian groups which intended to take Albanian Lands. The authors of these books which claim that he was a chetnik supporter were communists which lived in time of Enver Hoxha. Prëk Cali was and will be always known as a National hero and not a traitor as communists claims. Here you got references for that : [2], [3],[4],[5],[6]

I am quite aware of Communist history, but that does not mean that Hoxha said that something is black, and today everything becomes automatically white. Anyway, this article does not have any importance for me. Just keep it out of emotional sentences like "one of the greatest heroes of Albania". Hero of Albania is just a given a title not a fact, just like Fatos Nano was given "Nderi i Kombit", it does not mean that Nano really honors Albania. The same with Cali, if there is a monograph that mentions him as one of the greatest heroes, does not mean it is absolutely true. I totally agree that he was a great fighter though, very warlike driven.

Regarding the chetniks, I don't know, the other guy brought many references. On my opinion, wherever there is smoke, there is fire. The cooperation was real, but pushed by British emissaries as part of the anti-communist campaign rather than any "love" between Cali and the Serbs.

What I don't like about Cali in what I saw is the somehow localist, medieval tribal mentality. Not that he had any fault in that. I.e starting from the Battle of Decic, passing to the conflict with Zogu because they demanded autonomy from the "Albanian muslim state". If he was a real hero would have fought like Curri, Boletini, Gurarkuqi, Galica, etc who managed to see the Albanian cause as a whole beyond a certain tribal or geographical limitation.

Anyway, good work. I respect your passion about this.Mondiad (talk) 19:47, 23 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

- Man These who described Prek Cali were against him,i got a book "Prek Cali dhe kelmendasit" by Dr. Luigj Martini, you can read that Prek Cali wasnt a Bayraktar and medieval man or anti muslim or lokalist. If you want i can sent to you picture from the book, and references of this book too. Prek Cali fought in Battle of Decic. He was against Communism, thats why he was unliked by Communism. In fact communists invited him to join them (Mehmet Shehu) but Prek Cali said No,because you choose to ally with serbs, our historical enemies. There are alive witness who confessed that communism manipulated his biography. Anyway if you want i can show to you the book about Prek Cali, the book its in Albanian. My English is bad,i would be thankful if you add this to Prek Cali biography Mark Luka dëshmon: “Na, ketë shpellë e zgjodhëm për me ba qëndresën e fundit, me e la vedin e me vdek per së mbari. Për shtatë ditë rresht, gryka e shpellës nuk ka pushue as natë as ditë prej plumbave e zjarrit të mitrolozave. Komunistët vendosën me na marrë me uri e me pabesi. Na u dorzuem me një kusht, që të vinte Frati i Vuklit, kryetari i këshillit, si dhe të mos dhunoheshim. Por komunistët nuk e mbajtën fjalën e dhanë. Dhe as besimin e Fratit. Kur na çuen ke shtabi i batalionit, në Rrapsh të Hotit, Mehmet Shehu, u ndodh ballë për ballë me Prek Calin: - E, Prekë Cali, - i tha Mehmeti, - të pat ardhur dita ta mbyllesh historinë tënde me shkronja ari, po të bëheshe me ne! Pse bëre kështu? - Zotni, - iu përgjigj Prekë Cali, - faji bie mbi ju, se ju u batë aleat me anmikun shekullor tonin, me Serbin.” (Butka, f. 16)

Also add also this :

- Lëvizni ju gurin, vendoseni atje ku mbaron toka e juaj - iu drejtua me gishtin tregues përfaqsuesi i huaj.

--Ammar Tivari Talk! 09:48, 26 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Prek Cali. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.

Hi, and thanks for your work on the English Wikipedia.

I noticed an article you worked on. Just a short note to point out that we don’t normally link:

  • dates
  • years
  • commonly known geographical terms (including well-known country-names), and
  • common terms you’d look up in a dictionary (unless significantly technical).

(This even applies for infoboxes.)

Thanks and my best wishes.

Hi,

As far as I am concerned, all people from Albania are Albanians. The point is that Wikipedia:Categorization says that "If logical membership of one category implies logical membership of a second, then the first category should be made a subcategory (directly or indirectly) of the second." and "A page or category should rarely be placed in both a category and a subcategory or parent category (supercategory) of that category (unless the child category is non-diffusing - see below)."

If somebody is already categorized in some subcategory of Albanian people, there is no need to categorize them into supercategory also. All the best.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 21:02, 2 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Halil Jaçellari.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Halil Jaçellari.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 13:05, 3 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The article Veselin Vukotić (economist) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No explanation of notability

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Speedy deletion nomination of Vincenzo Cortese

[edit]

Hello AlbertBikaj,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Vincenzo Cortese for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Salimfadhley (talk) 20:57, 21 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Klement Tinaj, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. This is not an improvement. No references removed; there is no concensus to list theories, nor to arrange by theory (rather than chronological). It is breaking the section's prose harmony, and it doesn't look good. Do not begin an edit-war.--Zoupan 22:59, 8 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
