Greenman (talk) 12:39, 31 July 2022 (UTC)Deleting content
[edit]Generally, if content is reliably cited and doesn't violate some policy (like copyright or defamation of living people etc), it's generally best not to delete it. It may be that it needs to go into a different section or be given some context. In particular, information that is no longer current (e.g. the closure of the Gladstone Mater Private Hospital) may need to be rewritten in the past tense and/or moved into the history section (or a history section created to contain it). Obviously exactly what is done depends a bit on the structure of the article. I hope this helps. Kerry (talk) 07:35, 20 August 2022 (UTC)

— Ingenuity (talk • contribs) 13:50, 21 August 2022 (UTC)CapriCon (Australia) moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, CapriCon (Australia), is not suitable as written to remain published. It appears there is a WP:UPE or WP:COI conflict. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, and have addressed the UPE/COI issue, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. As per WP policy, please do not move into mainspace yourself. Onel5969 TT me 10:36, 30 August 2022 (UTC)

Onel5969 TT me 12:59, 28 October 2022 (UTC)DYK for Brihony Dawson
[edit]On 22 January 2023, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Brihony Dawson, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that when Australian Brihony Dawson debuted as the first non-binary host of reality TV franchise The Challenge, they decided not to imitate the "ominous" style of the U.S. host? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Brihony Dawson. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Brihony Dawson), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Did you know
[edit]Hi, I was thinking about nominating Vanessa Hudson for a DYK hook. If you don't know what they are, take a look at the main page. Every day interesting facts appear on the main page with "Did you know" a small fact about an article subject. I was thinking of nominating Hudson for "Did you know Vanessa Hudson is the first female CEO of Qantas Airways in its 103 year history?"
If I nominate, I feel you deserve credit too given you wrote the article. Good work on that btw. If you wish to co-nominate, ill go ahead and process the hook nomination and list you as co-nom. Cheers MaxnaCarta (talk) 23:31, 7 May 2023 (UTC)
