Overlinking

[edit]

Hi, please can you read the information at WP:OVERLINK before doing any more linking on articles. We do not, for example, link to articles about major countries such as India, nor do we link common words such as politician. Thanks. - Sitush (talk) 10:59, 28 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest policy

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Rambabuyadavnp1. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. --Ronz (talk) 16:37, 24 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't add your website again, nor add any other material that could be considered advertising. --Ronz (talk) 16:37, 24 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Dhobini Gaupalika moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Dhobini Gaupalika, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the prompts on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. Mduvekot (talk) 15:18, 25 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Can you please add your sources? Thanks, Boleyn (talk) 18:56, 12 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Dhobini Gaupalika, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:36, 26 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Keshab Dahal has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Please note that being on the board of a political party's youth wing is not how a person gets into Wikipedia — you would have to be elected or appointed to the Saṅghīya Sansada, not just a member of a political party's internal committees, to be notable as a politician.

Secondly, even if you did clear our notability test, under our conflict of interest rules it would not be your prerogative to start your article yourself, or to solicit a Wikipedia administrator who knows nothing about you to do it for you. Bearcat (talk) 14:15, 9 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Bearcat, I don't know if the userpage merits CSD, but it is being used completely inappropriately, e.g. like this. I have other concerns which I'll probably raise in a new section, but thought this merited your admin eyes. Cheers! Usedtobecool TALK  17:25, 24 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Rajni KC requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. —C.Fred (talk) 19:03, 23 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Rajni KC for deletion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Rajni KC is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rajni KC until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. —C.Fred (talk) 13:21, 24 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Rambabuyadavnp1!

I have noticed that several of your actions have been unhelpful at best, and contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia at worst. I advise you to carefully consider each of the points I raise, and reevaluate your approach. Where mentioned, a response from you is not optional and I strongly advise you to provide a clear clarification regarding the issue, before you resume editing, even if you elect to disregard the rest of my concerns.

  1. Your userpage may not meet the guidelines set out by WP:UP. Specifically, it looks too much like a WP:FAKEARTICLE, a concern that can not be overlooked in view of the fact that you have attempted to use it as just that at least once. If you are here to WP:PROMOTE yourself, you are here for the wrong reason.
  2. You clearly have a conflict of interest regarding some of the subjects you have contributed to, specifically, at the very least, all topics related to Sajha Party. COI editing is strongly discouraged and you should read up on policies surrounding it and abide by them in your future contributions to the subject area.
  3. You must disclose whether you are being WP:PAID to contribute to any article, and must do so in the most transparent manner. If you are not being paid, you must respond explicitly that such is the case before you resume editing. If you are being paid, you will find relevant instructions on how to transparently disclose it on the linked page.
  4. Regardless of whether you are being paid or not, Wikipedia is not a place to WP:PROMOTE yourself or anybody or anything else. We must always adhere to the WP:Neutral point of view and use neutral, encyclopedic tone in all content contributions to Wikipedia. When one has a COI, it is difficult to adhere to a neutral point of view and tone/language, through no fault of one's own. That is why COI editing is discouraged. Therefore, I advise you to pay close attention to the way you present information on topics connected to you, and make an extra effort to strictly adhere to core content policies and guidelines.
  5. Creating new articles is one of the harder avenues to master in the English Wikipedia. Please make sure the subject you want to create an article about, meets the general notability guidelines and/or the relevant (subject-specific/)special notability guidelines. Please pay particular attention to making sure the sources you are referring to are independent reliable sources, and not blogs, social media, gossip sites, etc.

Cheers! Usedtobecool TALK  18:29, 24 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Final attempt at communication

[edit]

Hello again! Since you have not answered previous attempts at communicating with you, I'm not even sure why I'm doing this. But, here goes nothing. Please,

  • Do not recreate articles deleted via AfD. Doing so is almost always unhelpful. Rather, participate in the AfD discussion while it is running, the notifications for which, assuming you created the articles, are invariably posted to your talk page.
  • Do not create talk pages for articles that do not exist. Rather, contact the admin/editor directly on their user talk page or ask at the Teahouse.
  • Disclose your WP:PAID status ASAP. If you make one more edit related to Sajha Party without doing so, I will seek investigation at WP:COIN or WP:ANI.
  • Stop trying to promote yourself here. DO NOT ever link to your userpage from articles on mainspace as you did here (and the other place that I linked to on another discussion up above).
  • Stop trying to promote your political party. You have a conflict of interest and your edits don't give the impression that you are acting in the best interests of the encyclopedia rather than yourself or a third party (in this instance, your political party).
  • Non-communication is not an option. This is a collaborative project and ignoring concerns raised by others doesn't make those go away automatically. Failing to communicate is enough of a failing on a project like this to get you blocked from editing.
  • Lastly, please trim down your userpage. It is not the place for a fake article on yourself, one that you've previously tried adding to mainspace from multiple accounts and failed

.Please consider this a last warning. If you continue to disregard messages here, and continue with your disruptive promotional edits (about yourself or your political party), I will seek administrator/community action at one of the noticeboards, to protect the encyclopedia. Regards! Usedtobecool TALK  07:37, 1 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion of Keshab Dahal

[edit]

Hi - I'm an administrator here at Wikipedia. I noticed that you have repeatedly recreated an article about Keshab Dahal after it was deleted. The original article's deletion came about because a consensus at this discussion determined that the subject of the article was not notable. You should not attempt to recreate pages after they have been deleted as a result of such a discussion, unless there is some new evidence of notability - for example, if some new sources were identified. Since your new page had no sources at all, that was clearly not the case. I have protected the article title, so that further recreations will not be possible. If you identify some sources that you feel demonstrate the subject's notability, I would be happy to consider removing the protection to that an article can be written; please let me be clear though that if you continue attempting to write an article about this subject without first establishing their notability, it may be deemed to be disruptive, which will likely lead to your account being blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you can reach my on my talk page. Thanks GirthSummit (blether) 13:34, 2 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

what are the reason for deletion my user page. this is not fair.
First, as noted above, Wikipedia is not to be used as a webhost for your CV. Second, when a person is blocked from editing Wikipedia—as you were at your main account, Ramabutejaswi—they may not edit Wikipedia (other than to request being unblocked). Therefore, creation of a user page here was in circumvention of that block. —C.Fred (talk) 15:43, 6 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Keshab Dahal

[edit]

Hello, Rambabuyadavnp1. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Keshab Dahal".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! Lapablo (talk) 11:35, 7 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
