Proposed deletion of Three Bon Bunnies

[edit]

The article Three Bon Bunnies has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

either a WP:HOAX or non-notable: unreferenced, no mention of band or singer online, in news archives or in GBooks.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Dai Pritchard (talk) 22:02, 16 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Three Bon Bunnies, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

it is a blatant hoax, because the link to afro.com is a 404 error.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Three Bon Bunnies

[edit]

I really have to apologise for how the creation of this article was handled. Accusation of a hoax were thrown about far too soon, before a serious effort was made to find references to verify that the group was both real and notable. So please accept my apologies: I've removed the hoax and deletion tags, and tried to improve the article a little. We do get a lot of subtle attempts at creating hoax articles here on Wikipedia, and I guess I and one other editor were just a little too quick to judge this one as another hoax. Please don't let this unpleasant initial experience put you off editing here, and thank you very much for creating the article. If I can be of any help to you in this or future articles, please give me a shout at my talk page. Thank you, Dai Pritchard (talk) 09:36, 17 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
