ITN recognition for 2024 Stanley Cup Finals

Please remember to preface your ITN votes with an asterisk
I can't keep doing it for you. Shift+8, if you didn't know. Just helps everything line up, is generally practiced and leads to an overall harmonious vibe. If there's something deep and unyielding you have against it, that's cool, too. But in case you're just constantly forgetting or never learned, now you know. I tried to ping you in my latest correction and failed miserably. Hope this suffices. InedibleHulk (talk) 08:20, 26 June 2024 (UTC)
- @InedibleHulk It is not the case of just forgetting. I use Reply tool in the discussions and whenever I try to use * in the this tool, it always for some reason move my signature into the next line. I find Reply tool to be more convenient than hitting edit each and every time. At first, I used to edit again to put * but after some time I just thought it wasn't worth the hassle so I just left them as they were as I thought it wasn't something important. PrinceofPunjabTALK 09:02, 26 June 2024 (UTC)
- Well, that's unfortunate. It's still worth the hassle to me, then, I guess. See you around! InedibleHulk (talk) 09:05, 26 June 2024 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Sportsfan 1234. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 13:47, 1 August 2024 (UTC)
Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. FYI about Japanese wiki writing
Hello, I am writing it more as explanation for future references
In your vote in the now-closed ITN request, you said that the article for Summer Koshien article was "in a poor shape as the majority of the content in the article is unsourced", made me feel that you are unaware of the ja/east asian wiki styling writing
East asian writing, specially in the ja wiki, tends focus in the content of the good faith writing with the aim of use least sourcering possible, ja/other east asians feel that, if too much sourcering is used, it may make the article unnecessarily crowded, this happens also in the article in question since the article cited is based on the ja language article of the same theme , the minimalistic "more info with least sourcering possible" is usually used
Again, i am writing it just so you can use as reference for future votes in articles of similar origins, since i think you are unaware of this writing style exists and i feel unaware people may assume that articles like that are not that trustful, even if is based of other wiki consensus.
that is all for now, be free to ask more and have a nice day Meganinja202 (talk) 18:12, 23 August 2024 (UTC)
- @Meganinja202 Hello there,
- I know quite well about what you are saying about having few sources on other wikis. Many of the Indian language wikis always uses the minimalistic approach regarding the sources such as the Hindi and Punjabi ones. However, I do like to point that since it is the English Wikipedia, the manner of style on it is quite different. In the this Wiki, extensive sourcing is a requirement. I have seen many nominations fail just because there were like three-four more sources required (despite there being 100+ other sources). I mean just look at the 2024 Summer Olympics opening ceremony article. It was nominated but it still got rejected because some of the paragraphs or sentences are unsourced despite having 230 or so other sources. Sadly, Summer Koshien fails on the sourcing scale. The state in which the article is, the nomination had a no chance of succeeding. ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸ ਆਫ਼ ਪੰਜਾਬ (PrinceofPunjab | ਗੱਲਬਾਤ) 18:38, 23 August 2024 (UTC)
- i heared ITN was too exigent but that is a brand new level of exigency Meganinja202 (talk) 18:41, 23 August 2024 (UTC)
