Please do not attack other editors, as you did here: Signs (film). If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. You were just blocked because you attacked people. Why are you doing it again? JDDJS (talk) 20:53, 1 October 2010 (UTC)

Excuse Me

I'm only trying to be productive by informing potential readers about certain dilemmas they may face while remaining unbiased when doing so. I'm sorry if that's a problem, sir. 207.199.247.19 (talk) 00:28, 2 October 2010 (UTC)

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to Suicide of Tyler Clementi. Doing so helps everyone to understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism). It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. I dream of horses If you reply here, please leave me a {{Talkback}} message on my talk page. @ 03:53, 2 October 2010 (UTC)

Question

why did you undo the blanking of User talk:67.78.133.90? Not only does (s)he have the right to blank their talk page, but the IP hasn't even edited since December 2006. JDDJS (talk) 22:44, 2 October 2010 (UTC)

Please review WP:BLANK. Users, even IPs, have the right to blank their own talk pages. Thank you. Doniago (talk) 12:57, 13 October 2010 (UTC)

Blocking 86.96.227.103

FYI: I blocked this IP based on your very appropriate report at WP:AIV but I then un-blocked it when I saw it belonged to Emirates Telecommunications Corporation. Like some other Middle Eastern countries, the UAE has a national firewall. Some of these countries as a result funnel thousands of users through just a few IPs. I don't know if ETC does this but I didn't want to take any chances; overzealous admins have sometimes caused extensive collateral damage blocking these sorts of IP addresses from some Persian Gulf countries. --A. The Resilient Barnstar
Well this my be the first and possibly only time I give a barnstar to someone I posted on WP:AIV in the past. But now it appears you learned from your past mistakes. Not counting that one slip up on signs, you have avoided personnel attacks, even though a user (Reviewreviewer1) was attacking you. This is for your improvment and please don't have a relapse or else I'll have to give you different type of reward JDDJS (talk) 04:56, 16 October 2010 (UTC)

Reverting my edits

Why are you reverting my edits? Does having a different and a logical point of view bothers you? For example, "She" by Green Day is definetly pop punk. Why do you keep reverting my edits? You're the one who deserves to be edit blocked. Who the fuck are you to block me? I didn't even edit that page anymore! Stop being such a motherfucker and understand that you aren't allowed to revert other people's edits just because you don't like them! --Revilal90 (talk) 11:36, 17 October 2010 (UTC)

Please try your very best not to use snitty and ad hominem edit summaries

No. I am not the world. But, if you follow the news, you will see that, for example, wearing purple on october 20th, was spurred in part by the perceived bullying of Tyler Clementi among others. So do, please, try to keep a sense of reality in your edits, and politeness in the summaries. I can't be bothered to revert you. I disagree with you, but life is too short.IOn the words of Herb Cohen, "I care, but not that much." Fiddle Faddle (talk) 16:56, 24 October 2010 (UTC)

However, I can be "bothered" to revert you. This can be rebuffed by reliable sources (obviously since it's a template, I won't be putting them on the page itself, but I'll repeat them here...) - "Three young men, three suicides, three cases of anti-gay bullying", "Teen bullied for being gay" and "Tyler Clementi, Rutgers freshman who committed suicide after gay bullying, could have fought back" are all examples of reliable sources suggesting that the suicide of Tyler Clementi was due to gay bullying. Even Ellen DeGeneres thinks so - "It's time to end teenage bullying". Sure, 100% of the world's population won't know about the Tyler Clementi incident, but to say that the suicide wasn't as a result of anti-gay sentiment is not in line with the reliable sources available. Mellencamp on DYK

Hi PM800. Got your DYK message. Thanks for approving R.O.C.K. in the U.S.A. I understand your concern about multiple songs by the same artist in a short period of time. How about this... if you approve Crumblin' Down (assuming you think the date, sourcing, etc. are OK, of course) I'll hold off on any more Mellencamp nominations until December at the earliest. I've got a big list of other, non-Mellencamp articles to create, I've got no problem switching to them. Reasonable compromise? 28bytes (talk) 01:49, 8 November 2010 (UTC)

Please stop creating these. We have debated their use many times before, and have found in the hockey project that they are neither useful nor desirable. Tyler Clementi

You seem to have some sort of idea that the suicide of Tyler Clementi was not related to bullying and was not notable. You make a point of removing his suicide form a relevant template, and the template form the article.

I, and it would appear others, will continue to revert you on this. Should you continue to remove these things without using the talk page to justify your actions I will start to consider it to be vandalism and flag it as such, however experienced an editor you are. If you truly think it has no place as a notable suicide related to bullying, reach a consensus over it. Fiddle Faddle (talk) 09:47, 14 November 2010 (UTC)

Doing a great job cleaning this up, looks nice. But two things... First, the lead currently says that a .330 average is "considered rare". With language like that I would include a cite or two, showing that there only a handful of players shows that it is numerically and objectively rare, not that it's "considered" rare. Additionally, why the .330 cutoff (I had the same issue with the old .325 line also)? .300 seems like the natural cutoff, even though that leaves a big group of players. Hello!

Hi, PM800! Can you please review my DYK on Kapetanovo Castle? Also, if i have some English language errors in the hook, can you check it, and fix it, if needed? That would mean a lot to me! Thanks in advance! :) --WhiteWriter speaks 12:13, 19 November 2010 (UTC)

Absolutely, man! :) Great hooks! --WhiteWriter speaks 12:21, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
I dont trust him, please review by your self. This is not copyvio. --WhiteWriter speaks 12:48, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
But how can it be? It is translation from foreign language, that i translated with google translate, and fixed later. Also, it cannot be copyvio, as it is far from original. Anyway, can you help? Just two section, history and architecture are translated. Maybe we should fix it a bit... --WhiteWriter speaks 12:57, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
Ha, ha, no, translation is disaster! Here is the link!
TRANSLATION
As you may see, this cannot be copyvio, as you need a lot of work to bring it to normal state. Please, help me. This mean a lot to me. --WhiteWriter speaks 13:04, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
Well, ok. We can, i will fix the history section, and you can help me with architecture... Just a little fix will be ok, and then you can post your own review on DYK. --WhiteWriter speaks 13:17, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
As you may see, i fixed all other. Just help me, and explain architectural elements in few sentences, and that will be ok... I will expand it later if needed, just now for DYK... Added some more sources, but they are all in Serbian... :( So, as i told you above, just with some fine explanation, we will be ok. Also, are my grammar ok with new history section? Thanks in advance! --WhiteWriter speaks 23:57, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
I fixed it all! Please, just check the grammar, and you may review it! Also, we must use picture somehow! That would be great, as unfortunate tower is visible on that photo. Thanks! --WhiteWriter speaks 15:29, 21 November 2010 (UTC)

Kapetanovo Castle

Hi, I'm sure this is a misunderstanding and I'm assuming good faith, but as a contributor to the Kapetanovo Castle article, you're not allowed to review it for DYK (see Template talk:Did you know#How to review a nomination). This is to avoid a potential conflict of interest, obviously. Also, it's kind of wrong to disregard my previous assessment of the article and just pass it without asking for my opinion or at least notifying me. As the person who discovered the copyvio in the article, I feel I should have had a say on whether this issue has been addressed. Best, Toдor Boжinov 09:54, 23 November 2010 (UTC)

That's alright, it's not about the apology really... The whole copyvio issue was more or less covered up and ignored and as a whole I strongly disapprove of the way it was dealt with. It's not WhiteWriter's first copyvio to appear on T:TDYK and I honestly don't think such behaviour should get away without even a warning. He's been purposefully plagiarizing copyrighted content, which is not exactly tolerable. Toдor Boжinov 13:21, 23 November 2010 (UTC)

DYK for Ed Cotter

At the DYK nomination for Ed Cotter, you noted: "And as for the infobox, this might be where you're going wrong". I would assume that this is in reference to the infobox on Ed Cotter not currently working. I take umbrage to that comment, as your edit at Frank Bruggy merely replaced actual template parameters with redirects, which is unnecessary and incorrect. I would ask you to redact that, as it's unproductive and, to be blunt, rude. — KV5Talk17:25, 23 November 2010 (UTC)
