There seems to be no source for his being at Hymers College. How do you know this? I've removed it as unsourced. Are you connected with Mather in some way - friend, colleague, family? If so, please read WP:COI. PamD 18:13, 21 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks - listed in the alumni section of Hymers College page. Will see if I can find a further source. Oxonwiki (talk) 18:19, 21 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Also according to the print edition of the London Evening Standard (pg. 11) he worked as a researcher for former MP Matthew Parris. Oxonwiki (talk) 18:22, 21 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

2024 UoOCE

[edit]

This page is turning into an interesting one. Thanks for your help. I said "went on the record with" as a slight dig at all the people only willing to comment anonymously, but I'll let your toning down stand.

Something that did quite surprise me was Cherwell reporting on the new committee without any comment at all. Wouldn't have happened in my day. Moonraker (talk) 23:24, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed - and already a lot of coverage in the national press given that no candidates have officially declared as yet! Bram880 (talk) 20:17, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Jan Royall

[edit]

Can I suggest that you edit a little more gently at Jan Royall? While your opponents are clearly behaving worse than you, it fundamentally takes two to edit war. You are also not giving any explanation of your edits, either on the talk page or in edit summaries, which makes your edits come over more high handed than they actually are.
