File permission problem with File:Smallz The DJ at the Sapphire Scents Launch Party 2018.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Smallz The DJ at the Sapphire Scents Launch Party 2018.jpg, which you've attributed to The Plug Entertainment. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 20:31, 22 October 2018 (UTC)

Stop moving The Plug Entertainment
[edit]Please stop moving the "The Plug Entertainment" page back and forth between the article namespace (The Plug Entertainment) and the draft namespace (Draft:The Plug Entertainment). Some established reviewer must accept the draft. You do not get to move the draft yourself. If you continue to move the page, either you will be blocked or the page will be move-protected. Thanks for the observation. I am not an experienced editor yet, still trying to get the grip of it. I would definitely not move it again. Do I leave it as its now "The Plug Entertainment" in the mainspace and a reviewer will still get to it? --Olakunle Rufai (talk) 17:32, 6 November 2018 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of DJ KayWise
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on DJ KayWise requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. [edit]Thanks for your contributions to Dotts Media House. - Hey! Thanks for your comments about Draft:Dotts Media House. I will look through again, remove anything promotional and certainly add more notable sources. Majority of the sources I've added actually are independent major newspaper sources available here. [edit]- Thank you for taking the time out to look through. I'm going to read through again when I can to weed out anything that sounds promotional. With regards to sources, I specifically went with Wiki's list of general notable Nigerian sources here Wikipedia:WikiProject Nigeria/Nigerian sources. So I think major newspapers like "The Punch", "The Guardian", "Vanguard Nigeria", "Business Day Nigeria", "Independent Nigeria" all meet the threshold. The lead actually mentioned the company being a Public relations and digital marketing firm but I'll take your advise and flesh it out more, then call your attention to look through again. - Hello @Jamiebuba, I was a bit surprised Draft:Dotts Media House was rejected by you. I understand notability guidelines which is why I specifically used sources listed here Wikipedia:WikiProject Nigeria/Nigerian sources by Wikipedia. The platforms listed there are the most major, independent sources in Nigeria as listed. some of these platforms have multiple reportage on the subject but I stuck with only what is relevant to what is in the article. Also, I believe deciding which sources are reliable and notable cannot be subjective, hence, why I used majorly the platforms mentioned here Wikipedia:WikiProject Nigeria/Nigerian sources and avoided any platform listed as not notable or relevant. Also, there's a coverage from the US Times that was used as reference in the article. surely that's a notable and independent source. I still strongly believe the article is ready to be published but I hope you can look through again and maybe suggest ways to make the article better. Thanks so much for your help Olakunle Rufai (talk) 10:10, 20 September 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Sumanuil. I noticed that you recently made an edit to Do2dtun in which your edit summary did not appear to describe the change you made. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. - Sumanuil. (talk to me) 02:20, 11 September 2024 (UTC)
