- Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
- It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
- If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
- Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
- When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
- If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.

- Hi!
- Thanks for looking at my submission. I'm fairly new to Wikipedia, and wondered if you would be kind enough to help explain how I create a page for Selected Pictures for a Portal. I have submitted a draft of a new portal:education which I hope to be different from the current schools portal.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail in popular culture moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to Monty Python and the Holy Grail in popular culture. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. CycloneYoris talk! 20:58, 14 September 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for this! I wasn't aware articles could just be drafts without publication, this is really helpful. O2Q357Ys (talk) 09:37, 15 September 2024 (UTC)
