Please attribute or claim media you uploaded or restored: File:Seven Feathers Event Center.jpg
You uploaded or restored , File:Seven Feathers Event Center.jpg, but for various reasons did not add an {{information}} block, or indicate your (user) name on the file description page. Media uploaded to Wikipedia needs information on the SPECIFIC authorship and source of files, to ensure that it complies with copyright laws in various jurisdictions.
If it's entirely your own work:
please include {{own}} in the relevant source field, amend the {{information}} added by a third party, ensuring that your user name (or name you want used for attribution) is clear in the author field, and change the license to an appropriate "self" variant (if such a license is not already used). You should also add an |author= parameter to the license tag, to assist reviews and image patrollers. You can also add |claimed=yes
and an |author=
to the {{media by uploader}} or {{presumed_self}} tag if it is present to indicate that you've acknowledged the image, and license shown (and updated the {{information}} where appropriate).
If it's not entirely your own work, or the media is based on the work of others:
Please update the source and authorship fields, so that they accurately reflect the source and authors of the original work(s), as well as the derivative you created. You should also not use a "self" license unless the work is entirely you own. Media that is incorrectly claimed as self or {{own}}, will eventually be listed at Files for Discussion or deleted, unless it's full status is entirely clear to other contributors, reviewers and image patrollers. You should also read Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission which details how to confirm any permissions you obtained for works by others that are still in copyright.
Whilst this notification, relates to a single media upload, it would also be appreciated if you could ensure that appropriate attribution exists for other media you uploaded, You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.
It's okay to remove or strike messages like this once the concerns have been addressed. :).

Speedy deletion nomination of Rochester Kings
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Rochester Kings, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. New York Streets moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, New York Streets, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the prompts on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. ... discospinster talk 22:14, 24 July 2018 (UTC)
- You are right. Reading more into it and, yes, someone in that organization jumped the gun and continues to say they are in the league when the league says otherwise. More to this story is coming. Stay tuned! NostalgiaBuff97501 (talk) 17:24, 25 July 2018 (UTC)
The file File:Washington Federals helmet 1984.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Two non-free images of what is essentially the same helmet are not needed per WP:NFCC#3a. The change from the white File:Washington Federals helmet 1983.png to the silver helment doesn't require that the reader see this particular file to be understood, so omitting it from the article would not be detrimental to the reader's understanding per WP:NFCC#8. Moreover, there is not sourced critical commentary related to the change in color anywhere in the article, so the context for non-free use required by NFCC#8 is not provided.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Marchjuly (talk) 07:53, 14 August 2018 (UTC)
Please use better references and citation templates
Hello, another thing I have mentioned before, but please use better references when you create pages, such as Tucson IFL team (not Tucson IFL Team, see MOS:CAPS for why "Team" is not a proper noun here). Facebook, especially self-published posts as they are primary references, or possibly unreliable as they can be deleted (linkrot) and do not necessarily have editorial independence or oversight, and are not sufficient for a new page to meet WP:GNG.
Also, as asked previously, please use a citation template such as Template:Cite web as this helps editors track archives for deadlinks when/if they occur. See my edit here on how to fix the raw link references. It takes the same amount of effort on your part to do this properly the first time and should help prevent linkrot in the future. Thank you, Yosemiter (talk) 12:48, 24 August 2018 (UTC)
- The reference link templates I do have been the same ones I have always done for years and I had never had any problems. Now there's a problem. Rules change all the time and it's very difficult to keep up. As far as the articles, I do the very best job I can to provide the best and most reliable sources I can to prove that the articles exists. But the Wikipedia rules are just getting too vague and confusing. Meaning nothing is ever good enough. It's getting to the point where I just can't get an article up with the best information, references and sources I can only to have templates posted two minutes after I get it up asking for "reliable" sources. I appreciate people's help to make the article better, which is all I ask for. But enough of the "improvement" templates please. Other talk about "vandalizing" articles. Why are MINE being vandalized? No clear answer. NostalgiaBuff97501 (talk) 17:47, 24 August 2018 (UTC)
- Please clarify "vandalism" on your articles (by the way, not actually yours), I have never accused you of vandalism. I have simply asked for better references, and Facebook has never been considered a WP:GNG-worthy source for a new article as it is primary. I am not the only one to nominate articles you created for deletion, we just happen to have overlapping editing targets and I am trying to help you from having further articles deleted through cooperation. I have improved many of your articles, I was just hoping for you to keep up, and the tagging was a way so I didn't have to write here all the time. (Also, I did not edit it "two minutes after", it was seven hours. Having a section with content entirely composed of To be published... has never been acceptable in published article, only allowed in Drafts.)
But there is a reason I have asked you to draft some of these subjects first, and that is specifically because the sources are lacking. Have you tried actually using WP:AfC. @Discospinster: has helpfully placed a couple of your most recent articles in Draft status. All you have to do press Submit your draft for review!. It might take up to eight weeks, but you should obtain some constructive feedback from someone other than me (since you seem to dislike me).
But you are correct, Wikipedia standards are continually becoming more defined, less vague, and, therefore, somewhat more restrictive. Yosemiter (talk) 18:10, 24 August 2018 (UTC)

- Then Wikipedia should stop using the phrase "The Free Encyclopedia", because it is considered by many as "deceptive". And Yosemiter, I never said I didn't like you. The rules just keep getting thrown in my face every time I try and do something good for the site. A majority of people I have talked to even say Wikipedia is "not a reliable source" because apparently there are items in articles they do not agree with or, if it is about them, they just say Wikipedia has "zero credibility". Like for instance, the article I started about the Northern Arena Football league? The owner didn't seem to care if there was an article or not because, as he told me (and others have, too), "Don't waste your time with Wikipedia. They are not accurate."
- I guess from now on, if there is something new that I feel would be a great article for Wikipedia, I will leave a suggestion here and let someone else do an article. That way it saves everyone from headaches. Though, I think you DO like the face that I make great football helmets for articles. I'll keep doing that. NostalgiaBuff97501 (talk) 18:46, 24 August 2018 (UTC)
- To be fair, if its not accurate, it is usually because it was not accurately reported in the media in the first place. Which, in fact, is why the General Notability Guideline exists. If a topic has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject, it is presumed to be suitable for a stand-alone article, or its opposite would be: if a topic has NOT received received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject, it is NOT presumed to be suitable for a stand-alone article. We can only be as reliable as the verifiable references that are published. If the only reliable references are the subject itself, then it is not presumed to be notable.
For indoor football, I think a good generic guideline for new team article creations might be a team joining the AFL, IFL, CIF, and NAL are all likely to receive independent coverage in the media. After that, it is probably a case-by-case basis. The AAL has been hit or miss. The EIF really only had some independent coverage on the New England Bobcats, which received more local coverage than the entire league and they are not even members any more. The Steam meet GNG on their past history and coverage in Savannah, but have not received independent coverage since the move to Statesboro (except perhaps the bankruptcy reports from Savannah). The NAF is just WP:TOOSOON to tell what, if any, coverage it receives.
And I certainly like your helmets and logos (although a brush up on WP:NFCC might help stave off deletions of some of the old logos). I also left almost the entire Tucson team page as you wrote it, just with some standard cleanup and WP:Manual of Style edits. Yosemiter (talk) 19:14, 24 August 2018 (UTC)

- And as you saw, I left the Cedar Rapids Titans page as it is, even though the franchise no longer uses that name anymore. NostalgiaBuff97501 (talk) 08:32, 25 August 2018 (UTC)
- Indeed, it is probably best to leave it as Titans per WP:COMMONNAME and WP:NAMECHANGES. Yosemiter (talk) 14:01, 25 August 2018 (UTC)
Northern Arena Football
Just a suggestion (one I think I have advised several times to you now), but I would definitely consider making Northern Arena Football a draft instead of an article. It is WP:TOOSOON for it to meet WP:GNG as it has a brief mention, but no significant independent non-blog coverage as of today. We not presume that such a league will get independent media coverage in order to be considered notable. Maybe it was my approach, but you at least now seem open to Drafts per your response to @Discospinster: about the TOOSOON New York Streets. If this league fails to launch (like many others that you created too soon), then we have to have another AfD on your page. All I am asking to start using Drafts and better sources please. Yosemiter (talk) 17:40, 15 August 2018 (UTC)
- The draft for Northern Arena Football can be removed now. The league has since been renamed Professional Arena Football with two separate divisions, Northern Arena Football and Southern Arena Football. More details to come... NostalgiaBuff97501 (talk) 17:52, 28 August 2018 (UTC)

- You could move the draft to Draft:Professional Arena Football as well. While it might be WP:TOOSOON still for the PAF, it seems like it might (read WP:SPECULATION) meet GNG in the near future, especially if the Roughriders do actually join. Yosemiter (talk) 20:01, 28 August 2018 (UTC)
Florida Tarpons
Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Florida Tarpons a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Yosemiter (talk) 16:19, 10 September 2018 (UTC)
- Please stop trying to move the page, I contacted an admin with an overwrite authority for assistance to fix the mistake and move the page to your target. Yosemiter (talk) 16:28, 10 September 2018 (UTC)
- It is fixed now. Carry on. Yosemiter (talk) 18:26, 10 September 2018 (UTC)
- Thank you. NostalgiaBuff97501 (talk) 03:05, 12 September 2018 (UTC)
Thank you, Yosemiter, for thanking me for recent verification of the article. Now can that tag on the top of the page be removed since there has been verification. Also, can the team colors be added to each header. NostalgiaBuff97501 (talk) 15:53, 24 September 2018 (UTC)
I have logos and helmets for three of the four teams in the new A-League, but have yet to see any references or resources except for websites, Facebooks, Twitters, Instagrams, etc. Will you be able to keep an eye out for any if any pop up? The Lakeland Tarpons are the only team already with an article. NostalgiaBuff97501 (talk) 06:05, 25 September 2018 (UTC)
- I have been, and this is the only one I have found so far, which is unfortunate because the only thing it got right is that it is operated by Tarpons and their no punting rule. The Ocala Panthers are not members, I believe they are one of their affiliated "development" teams that Haines has been writing about on the Tarpons website. Non-free logos
Hi NostalgiaBuff97501. This is a reminder about some of the rules we have for non-free content. You've spent a lot of time uploading non-free sports logos in particular, and when I read Wikipedia:Files for discussion/2018 October 25#Non-free logos in Chico Heat I see you are unsure about some of the rules or find them confusing. Here's some points to keep in mind:
- We only allow one non-free image per article, unless there's a very good reason to include more. We typically have one non-free crest or logo in the infobox, and that's all. We don't include former logos or alternate logos unless there's sourced discussion of them in the body of the article, and non-free images are not permitted in galleries. Each non-free image should be included only once per article.
- Non-free images need to be small. The current permitted size is about 300 x 300 pixels. If the image you upload is bigger than that, please add the template
{{non-free reduce}}
to the file description at the time you upload the file. Then a bot will come along and reduce it for you. Please let me know if you have any questions. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 11:06, 25 October 2018 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Fayetteville Woodpeckers -1.png
A tag has been placed on File:Fayetteville Woodpeckers -1.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. NostalgiaBuff97501 (talk) 16:38, 14 September 2018 (UTC)
- Yeah, I saw that announcement. You are also correct that unless it is covered in independent media, not social media, that we cannot presume notability for WP:GNG. I have also been tracking the PAF itself for media coverage, still not a single news report, only blogs as of yet. Maybe when the league gets closer to launching, there will be something out there for notability, but nothing is a sure thing yet. Yosemiter (talk) 17:24, 14 September 2018 (UTC)
- I have talked to the owner Gregg Fornario myself directly and he says they are launching. He says once the league gets more teams and becomes stable, perhaps that will help. NostalgiaBuff97501 (talk) 17:32, 14 September 2018 (UTC)

As a rule of thumb, archive closed discussions when a talk page exceeds 75 KB or has multiple resolved or stale discussions." - this talk page is 548.2 KB. See Help:Archiving a talk page for instructions on how to manually archive your talk page, or to arrange for automatic archiving using a bot. If you have any questions, place a {{help me}} notice on your talk page, or go to the help desk. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 13:17, 25 November 2018 (UTC)
- This is all because people find fault in my articles and downloads all the time. Now there are guidelines for talk pages? NostalgiaBuff97501 (talk) 18:07, 18 December 2018 (UTC)
- FYI, the links Diannaa added is just to inform you how to control your talk page when there is a lot of content. When pages get too large (such as your 450 sections) it becomes very difficult for editors to interact or collaborate with you due to the unwieldy size of the page. They are just trying to help. (Personally, I make a new archive for every 50-100 sections to make it easier to find archived conversations). Yosemiter (talk) 20:31, 18 December 2018 (UTC)
Nomination of New York Streets for deletion
A discussion is taking place as to whether the article New York Streets is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/New York Streets until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 22:59, 18 December 2018 (UTC)
- I did not do the article. Only the logo upload. And besides, the article is legit. The links to news articles prove it. NostalgiaBuff97501 (talk) 08:19, 19 December 2018 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:New York Streets.png
Thanks for uploading File:New York Streets.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 03:34, 27 December 2018 (UTC)
Non-free content use
Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We always appreciate when users upload files. However, it appears that one or more of the files you have uploaded or added to a page, specifically Draft:New York Streets, may fail our non-free policy. Most often, this involves editors uploading or using a copyrighted file of a living person. For other possible reasons, please read up on our Non-free criteria. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 07:05, 28 December 2018 (UTC)

The article Gulf Coast Pirates (AIF) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Appears to fail WP:GNG as there are no references applied and none found of significant depth. No hits in a news search, and appear to have been a semi-pro outdoor team the AIF used to fill in some home games for other teams. Per WP:NRV: No subject is automatically or inherently notable merely because it exists: The evidence must show the topic has gained significant independent coverage or recognition, and that this was not a mere short-term interest, nor a result of promotional activity or indiscriminate publicity, nor is the topic unsuitable for any other reason. Sources of evidence include recognized peer-reviewed publications, credible and authoritative books, reputable media sources, and other reliable sources generally. There is no evidence this team ever received any sort of independent coverage.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Yosemiter (talk) 18:54, 2 January 2019 (UTC)
Manatees / Fire Frogs merger
Per the templates you added, it looks like you've proposed merging both Brevard County Manatees & Florida Fire Frogs into one another. Is that correct, or did you intend to propose merging Manatees into the Fire Frogs? If so, Manatees should use {{Merge to}} and Fire Frogs should use {{Merge from}}. NatureBoyMD (talk) 13:23, 2 January 2019 (UTC)
- Yes, there are the same franchise and seem to share history and the separate articles seem to show a connection. NostalgiaBuff97501 (talk) 20:08, 2 January 2019 (UTC)
- NostalgiaBuff97501, NatureBoyMD is asking which page should be merged into which. Please read Wikipedia:Merging#Proposing a merger as you only did part of Step #2, you never started a discussion on the target talk page (Step #1). When proposing a merger, one should identify a single talk page location to discuss the merger to gain a consensus. In Step #2, by not defining a location in the "discuss=" parameter (they are different on each page right now with the Mantees "Discuss" linking to Talk:Brevard County Manatees and the Fire Frogs' "Discuss" linking to Talk:Florida Fire Frogs)it makes it confusing when trying to find the discussion, or even what your intent of the merger is. Using both with {{Merge from}} is incorrect as at least one of the pages should remain if merged. Hope this helps. Yosemiter (talk) 20:35, 2 January 2019 (UTC)
- NostalgiaBuff97501, from your reply I assume you mean merging the Manatees into Fire Frogs. I have made the necessary changes to the merge templates and have begun the discussion at Talk:Florida Fire Frogs#Proposed merge with Brevard County Manatees. NatureBoyMD (talk) 22:21, 2 January 2019 (UTC)
KURT-FM (Bend, Oregon) moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, KURT-FM (Bend, Oregon), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Disputed non-free use rationales
There is a concern that the rationale provided for using the below files may not meet WP:NFCC#8. This might be able to be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page.
— JJMC89 (T·C) 03:17, 29 January 2019 (UTC)
- What's the concern about the rationale? These are the logos that the AFL has used before. There should be NO disputes. If the current logo can be used, so can the others since they are also owned by the league. There should not be ANY concerns. The policies are WAY too vague. Your draft article, Draft:Northern Arena Football
Hello, NostalgiaBuff97501. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Northern Arena Football".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply and remove the {{db-afc}}
, {{db-draft}}
, or {{db-g13}}
code.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 00:14, 18 February 2019 (UTC)
The article Sacramento Spartans has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Fails WP:GNG as no sources cover this team in-depth, reliable or unreliable. Article was orphaned for years as an unaffiliated semi-pro unit and only recently received brief mentions that they exist in independent media because they were announced to join a league. See this news search. They have since left that league and there is no presumed notability for unaffiliated semi-pro teams. (Also, as an essentially unwatched and unlinked page, it has had a history of WP:PROMO editing.)
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}

The file File:West Michigan Ironmen Helmet Logo 2017.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Redundant non-free file which is not needed per WP:NFCC#3a because it provides basically the same encyclopedic information to the reader that File:WestMichiganIronmen.png (also being used in the infobox of the same article) does, The only difference between the two infobox files is that one is of the logo and one is of the logo on a helment. There's nothing unique about the helmet imagery that requires that it be seen per WP:NFCC#8 and nothing about it (e.g. its color) which cannot be described using simple text per WP:FREER. One of the two files is fine, but are not needed. Since the logo is more clearly seen in the logo file, keeping that file makes the most sense.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}

The article Vermont Brew has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Way WP:TOOSOON. There are no independent coverage of this proposed team that meets the requirement of WP:GNG. Far too speculative that this team actually ever launches and way too early to show WP:SUSTAINED coverage even in non-reliable sources.

Nomination of Tampa Bay Tornadoes for deletion
A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Tampa Bay Tornadoes is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tampa Bay Tornadoes until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion.
— Insertcleverphrasehere (or here)(click me!) 20:49, 16 March 2019 (UTC)
- You need to give it time to find more articles before instantly nominating it for deletion. NostalgiaBuff97501 (talk) 20:54, 16 March 2019 (UTC)
- You seem to have a fundamental misunderstanding of Wikipedia's notability guidelines. We don't make the articles in anticipation of them one day having sources (read WP:TOOSOON). The must meet WP:GNG before the articles are created. (Also, your comment here to a notification template does nothing for your argument. - There are WAY to many guidelines to even keep up with. No wonder people in the know complain about it. Nothing fundamental, just WAY too many guidelines to understand. NostalgiaBuff97501 (talk) 00:11, 17 March 2019 (UTC)
The file File:Professional Arena Soccer League logo.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-free former logo whose use in Major Arena Soccer League fails WP:NFCC#8 and WP:NFC#cite_note-4. Non-free former logos may be allowed when the logo itself is the subject of sourced critical commentary about how the logo or team's branding has changed over the years, but they are not really allowed just to show the how the former logo looked. There needs to be a stronger contextual connection between the actual logo and the article content discussing the team's choice of branding.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Marchjuly (talk) 03:36, 17 March 2019 (UTC)
The file File:Atlantic City Blackjacks Helmet.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-free former logo whose use in Atlantic City AFL team fails WP:NFCC#8 and WP:NFC#cite_note-4. There needs to be a stronger contextual connection between the actual logo and the article content discussing the team's choice of branding. This type of non-free use also fails WP:NFCC#3a because it basically provides the same information to the reader as the File:Atlantic City Blackjacks.png being used for primary identification purposes in the main infobox.

Deciding to leave
It's seems to me that now public notes are being written about me and what contributions I am making. I do the best I can to give each article accurate and factual information and show sports logos that ARE accurate enough to be placed in the articles. Yet, I am being peppered with stuff like this:
- The file "so-and-so" has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-free former logo whose use in "such-and-such fails WP:NFCC#8 and WP:NFC#cite_note-4. Non-free former logos may be allowed when the logo itself is the subject of sourced critical commentary about how the logo or team's branding has changed over the years, but they are not really allowed just to show the how the former logo looked. Another good example is when the old logos for the Arena Football League where removed because they "did not comply with guidelines". It's total B.S. because those logos ARE a part of the league's history and it shows it at SportsLogos.net as proof. But that's just not enough, isn't it? Also, I feel like I am being treated like a second-class citizen when I have more knowledge about the stuff I put on here as you do. But you don't want to hear any of it. Then, someone goes and PUBLICLY asks someone for some advice:
"Hi 'so-and-so'. Do you have suggestions on how to try and impress upon NostalgiaBuff97501 that he needs to do a better job of complying with relevant Wikipedia policies and guidelines, particularly those related to non-free content use. You'll get the general idea just from looking at all of the image-related notifications added to his user talk page over the years, and the sheer number of them makes it seem that he's not really trying to understand why they were added in the first place. His only response seems to be this, or something similar (see Wikipedia:Files for discussion/2018 October 25#Non-free logos in Chico Heat for another example).
Many of his uploads have been deleted for one reason or another, sometimes even via FFD, but he continues to go on upload sport team logos, even occasionally re-uploading a deleted file or files (perhaps unintentionally), without any apparent concern for previous discussions or relevant policies and guidelines. He also continues to upload exceedingly large files despite have been advised to avoid doing this as far back as July 2015 and then again in in 2018 once again. His issues apparently aren't only with logos as can be seen with previously raised concerns needing to be repeated only to receive the same "things are too vague" type of response in return. Perhaps there's a way to avoid this ending up at WP:ANI because he also does seem to make some positive contributions; these, however, are starting to be outweighed (at least in my opinion) by the cleaning up the community often needs to after his edits. I'm beginning to wonder whether the WP:IDHT approach he seems to take every time his edits are questioned is starting to indicate a bit of a WP:CIR problem, particularly with respect to image use."
I saw it and I don't appreciate it! It seems to me like I do what I can to make these article MUCH more accurate and up to date and I have to have proof and resources and follow guidelines which, in my humble opinion, are too vague and hard to understand. Plus, trying to correct things causes me to jump through hoops. It's a joke and I have had enough! So I have made the decision to leave this site because of two reasons, Marchjuly and Yosemiter. I tried to be calm and courteous and keep quiet about everything that has gone on, but I finally had to let off some steam. Being accused of "vandalism" in some articles when I was only trying to help. They are a joke and I hope you open they eyes to see what they are doing. Marchjuly and Yosemiter, if you think you can do a better job than me at what I have done, then YOU go right ahead. Let's see how far you get without my fabulous helmets and unique designs.
"The FREE Encyclopedia"? My ass! Nobody believes that this is an accurate site anyway. You're welcome for everything! Is THAT "vague" enough for you?!? Goodbye, Felicia! And good riddance!!! NostalgiaBuff97501 (talk) 05:47, 17 March 2019 (UTC)
The file File:Rio Grande Valley Dorados Helmet 2019.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-free image which is not needed per WP:NFCC#3a. There is already a non-free file of the logo (File:Rio Grande Valley Dorados.png) being used for primary identification purposes in the main infobox; so, there's no need for two non-free files which are providing essentially the same information. If the color of the helmet is worth mentioning in the article, it can be sufficiently done so using text per WP:FREER.
