Possible sockfarm

Good grief. I started trying to do some cleanup around the article for Haunted Party and it looks like there's a possible sock farm. The more I look, the more I see more and more SPAs that were opened just to try to re-create the article, edit it, or so on. I think I've tagged all of them and plopped them in Category:Suspected Wikipedia sockpuppets of PeterJohnston12345, but I'm unsure whether or not to block the ones that haven't edited since November. What's your thought on this? I'm trying to avoid doing blocks for the time being, but the few blocks I've made just now (for the socks/meats that edited very recently) are ones that couldn't be avoided. They're not quite stale just yet but they haven't really edited recently. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 05:10, 12 January 2015 (UTC)

 • Ugh... I just fell so deep into the rabbit hole that I think I broke my foot. It looks like these are all socks of User:Aron&April654321. I was looking to see if I could find more potential socks (via User:Fairytale65's edits) and found a link to User:Jackgriffo5, who edited Anthony Ilott and Joe Gaminara. An additional look showed that Fairytale65 *also* edited alongside User:PoolerBear, who is a confirmed sock of Aron&April654321. A look at the edits shows that Haunted Party is a re-titled Scary House, which was one of the articles that these socks have been trying to add. (sighs) I really don't want to open up a new SPI to look for sweepers. I'm going to tag Ponyo and Mike V since they dealt with the last SPI for these guys. I'm going to re-tag the accounts as socks of Aron&April654321 since there's more than enough evidence now to show that it's all part of that group, but I don't know if it'd be worth sweeping for sleepers or not. I'm also going to block all of the accounts since there's enough evidence to warrant blocks all around. (sighs again) Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 05:23, 12 January 2015 (UTC)
 • It looks like it got even more messy. I found evidence that this is linked to another sockfarm that predates the Aron&April stuff. Yeeks. Long story short, it looks like this guy Anthony Ferando is continually trying to add various hoax articles to Wikipedia and the tell is that he's always listed in the cast somewhere. Apparently the Scary House and Haunted Party articles were originally a hoax article for Scary Movie 6 where he listed himself as the main actor. From there it just sort of spiraled into various different things, so I guess we'll all have to try to keep an eye out for any articles that list him as an actor and have a similar writing style- odds are that they're hoaxes. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 06:17, 12 January 2015 (UTC)
Doesn't matter anymore right now since the article's been deleted and salted. Good job. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 06:42, 12 January 2015 (UTC)

Help through revision of article

Hi Narutolovehinata5,

Thanks for reviewing the page i created. I'll edit the english to be sure i didn't leave any mistake or incorrect syntax. Can you guide me through "additional citations for verification"? Is there a particular part of the text i should provide more citations?

Thanks for your help!

Westanna (talk) 15:25, 12 January 2015 (UTC)Westanna

I think you have a pretty good chance of getting this article up to GA in its current state. The thing about the current WP:GAN process is that if you nominate it now, it probably won't be reviewed for another 6 months or more, so if you want to get the article up to GA this year, you should try to nominate it soon. I plan on doing the same to ClariS in the next month or so once I actually get around to writing a musical style and influences section (which I suspect will be shorter than the one you wrote for Kawada, but oh well ).-- 02:51, 22 January 2015 (UTC)

I see. But I don't feel like nominating it for GAN any time soon. I feel that it's not yet complete. Not when there's still not enough information regarding her personal life that can be used. I'll probably wait for some major event in her career before doing so (perhaps once she announces her next album or if he holds a major concert?). Also, I feel like doing a musical style/influences section for LiSA as well (given that she's my second favorite artist), though I guess in her case it will be much easier to find sources given that she's twice or thrice as popular as Kawada. What do you think?
Also, a side-note: do you believe that ClariS (either the original one or the current one with Karen) will ever reveal their identities in the long run, or will they remain a Japanese version of Daft Punk? Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 05:34, 22 January 2015 (UTC)
Oh, well whenever you want to nominate Mami Kawada is fine; she's one of my all-time favorite artists, so I'd love to see her article at GA someday. I think a musical style/influences section for LiSA would be great if you can find the sources. It was hard enough finding enough when I wrote Supercell (band)#Musical style and influences, and ClariS' is probably gonna be half that length if I'm lucky. I just haven't found very many sources which discuss their music in detail. ClariS is about to perform at the Budokan in a few days, and I doubt it'll be behind a curtain like before, so it's possible they're about to at least reveal what they look like. And since they're about to graduate high school, I don't think there will be any more reason to keep their identities secret, unless they want to retain that as their "gimmick". Alice, however, will most likely always remain a mystery, unless she comes back as a soloist in a few years (which I'm dying to happen, since I loved her voice more than Clara/Karen, who sound exactly the same to me).-- 06:46, 22 January 2015 (UTC)

I see. Thanks for the comments. I really do love Mami and I wish she was more popular. To this day, the fact that Break a spell flopped horribly, both in sales and at the charts, still gives me a sad feeling in my heart. I actually visited Japan in July of last year, and despite Break a spell only being released in February of that year, not a single music store I went to (I went to about five) had it, and out of the five, only a single one (Gamers Akihabara) had her CDs at all (even Animate, which according to the book A Geek in Japan is the largest anime store in Akiba, had none of her CDs in stock, excluding the I've compilation album Outflow which I guess doesn't count). Also, it seems that virtually every Japanese I asked outside of the stores in Akiba didn't even know her. Shame.
Oh, and as for LiSA, I think I've seen that she has tons of interviews. LisAni and the like should have a few. You should also be easily be able to find sources as well. I'm also going to ask Prosperosity if he knows anything that can be used. What do you think?
And by the way, which one was Alice again? I've liked ClariS for almost 4 years and yet I still don't know which was which? Was Alice the one with the deeper voice, or the one with the softer voice? Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 07:51, 22 January 2015 (UTC)
That's a shame to hear that about Kawada. I wouldn't have thought she was that unknown after being in the industry for so many years. As for interivews and the like that I could scrape for ClariS, I did manage to find a few, all of which I've already used in the main article and a few of the albums/singles articles, but among them, there wasn't much that could go in a musical style/influences section that I could find. LisAni may be a good source, but most of its content is offline and thus not available to read. Alice sings at a slightly deeper octave than Clara, who has a more 'softer' voice as you put it. You can see who sings what for some songs at this blog. I feel that Alice had a more unique voice than Clara, and considering that I can't tell Clara and Karen apart, it makes listening to the new ClariS slightly less interesting.-- 08:55, 22 January 2015 (UTC)

Lisa articles

Translating 27 articles on a musician I'm not super familiar with would be a full-time job! I'm not sure if I have time for that, sorry! According to this, she planned to go to Animax Carnival Philippines 2013, which got cancelled due to a typhoon. She probably didn't even get the chance to land in the country then, I suppose! --Prosperosity (talk) 00:13, 15 February 2015 (UTC)

You don't actually have to translate all 27 articles though. Just sections of said articles that could potentially be useful. If what's needed is only a single paragraph in an entire article, for example, then that's all that needs to be translated. Also, don't remind me about that event. I was going to go to it, but then everything went horribly wrong. Well, at least we got King Gustav and Pope Francis in exchange. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 03:02, 15 February 2015 (UTC)

Metrolite

I have checked that you had added maintanence templates such as coi and to Metrolite, I agree with them. You may want to keep a eye on it, after a couple of day we can bring it to AfD, I don't see any significant amount of notability. OccultZone (TalkContributionsLog) 07:45, 21 February 2015 (UTC)

How speedily my article was deleted

You posted a message on my talk page stating that my article on How to Learn a Foreign Language had been proposed for speedy deletion, but that if I wanted to, I could contest that. It was deleted in 20 minutes, before I could. I consider this discourteous. deisenbe (talk) 14:02, 23 March 2015 (UTC)

Make sure you are checking that a term is invented before tagging it as such. A quick search shows that catacoustics is a real word, and can be found in the Oxford English Dictionary. That being said, this is just a dictionary definition, and already has an entry on Wiktionary, so this should be deleted, I re-tagged it for No context. -War wizard90 (talk) 05:56, 8 April 2015 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined

I declined your speedy deletion nomination of Goel TMT because the criterion does not applies. A7 does not applies to articles with assertion of notability. The appropriate deletion criterion is G12 because almost all the contents of the article was copied from its own website. Wikigyt@lk to M£ 14:07, 7 May 2015 (UTC)

@Wikicology: Does G11 also apply? In many of these cases, the "copyright violations" are actually posted by users who appear to be affiliated with relevant companies, and apparently these users create such articles as a form of promotion. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 16:05, 7 May 2015 (UTC)
I agree with you on WP:COI but in the case of obvious COI, the editor involved may be advised on how to edit such article. I often point them to this guideline. However, G11 does not applies to articles with Minor promotional wording. I normally try as much as possible to remove the promotional contents to save such articles if its actually a notable one. In the case of the deleted page, Goel TMT, its actually not eligible for G11. The promotional wording may be removed if the organization. is actually notable. Cheers! Wikigyt@lk to M£ 19:27, 7 May 2015 (UTC)

This was not a hoax

Hello! I am wondering why you tagged the article Lamont Johnson (jazz bassist) as G3 - meaning that you thought it was a blatant and obvious hoax. A quick Google search would have revealed that he is real. I have removed the tag and I am in the process of expanding the article, but I am curious what made you think it was a hoax? --MelanieN (talk) 17:16, 10 May 2015 (UTC)

MelanieN, You need not be curious. Although the page is certainly not a hoax and I'm sure they would have realized their mistake. Wikigyt@lk to M£ 21:06, 10 May 2015 (UTC)
@Wikicology: @MelanieN: I did a search for the person (including his DOB) and a search resulted in absolutely no results whatsoever, which lead me to believe that it was a hoax. If it was a mistake then I am sorry for it. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 22:16, 10 May 2015 (UTC)
No reason to worry. this one and several other sources verified and confirmed the existence of the article's subject, therefore not eligible for G3. The criterion (G3) does not applies to article with at least one source, even if the source is not reliable as long as it establish the existence of the subject of the article. Regards! Speedy deletion

Do you realize you nominated a redirect page for WP:CSD#A7 speedy deletion? The page in question has been moved to Rana Tarakji, but I don't think A7 applies because a credible assertion of notability is made. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 12:35, 2 June 2015 (UTC)

@WikiDan61: That's strange! When I opened the article the page wasn't a redirect. You must have been moved it at the exact same time that I tagged it. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 13:49, 2 June 2015 (UTC)
Well the page is deleted now, but when I looked at the history, there was a 5 minute difference between me creating the redirect (per the move) and you tagging. Could just be server lag. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 13:50, 2 June 2015 (UTC)

My Article was Misunderstood

I believe that you though that my article,Crafter (character),was about a web series character, you misunderstood it the article is about a character from a popular book,I even have proof in the second paragraph of this page:http://www.skyponypress.com/book/?GCOI=61608108388690& . Please don't delete my article the book series is very popular so I believe it's worthy of an individual page.--Minedigger (talk) 13:16, 13 June 2015 (UTC)

From the looks of things, the character is from a Minecraft online series, which would qualify it for speedy deletion as web content. If I am mistaken, I don't think he's still notable enough for a separate article: the book doesn't even have its own article. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 13:35, 13 June 2015 (UTC)

Mamiko Noto article

I've started to convert Mamiko Noto's filmography to a table format. I've tagged all entries there as citation needed but the tags for each one can be removed if they appear on her Mausu profile or replaced with Doi's database. Will get to that later. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 17:24, 18 June 2015 (UTC)

@AngusWOOF: Well, as long as that ugly BLP sources tag at the top is removed. There's still a ton of work to do, and Noto's article is far from the only article on a well-known voice actress (or actor) whose article has major sourcing problems. You (and in fact the whole WikiProject) should work on them too, it's probably one of the biggest works that the WikiProject needs to do. This should probably include either looking for free images for people, or requesting for them (like, say, asking the agencies politely if they could donate images). Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 23:35, 18 June 2015 (UTC)
I've gone through the discography portion of the article and made some heavy edits, mostly around the drama CDs, singles and albums. The albums and singles I've left only the ones that made a dent in Oricon and have her as the featured artist rather than compilations where she is only on one track (1 singles collection album, 1 sort-of album character CD, and 9 singles character CD). The drama CDs I only picked the five in Doi's database. There are a bunch of other CDs in Doi's second list that could be added but didn't see much notability for them – a lot are just supplementary material for anime titles for her most popular characters like Nogizaka or the Strawberry 100%/Marshmallow series, Tomoe / Queen's Blade, etc., so I left them out. I've checked most entries against her profile, so next is to hit some of her major anime and video game works and removing those individual entries. Should we remove the blanket tag or wait until the individual tags get down to a small fraction? AngusWOOF (barksniff) 04:36, 19 June 2015 (UTC)
@AngusWOOF: Perhaps, as a compromise, until most of the cn tags are reduced, the BLP sources tag can be demoted to a BLP sources section tag and be moved to the Filmography section. Still better than having the said article at the top. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 04:59, 19 June 2015 (UTC)
Okay, I've moved it to the More footnotes tag. Walking through ANN's news archive to fill in many of her roles now. Also upgraded her to Mid importance; she's in a ton of anime shows as leading characters and was nominated for Seiyu Awards in its first edition. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 15:33, 19 June 2015 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Bernadette Caine Llanto

Hello Narutolovehinata5. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Bernadette Caine Llanto, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Obvious newbie attempt at an article; certainly not vandalism. Thank you. Opabinia regalis (talk) 06:58, 7 July 2015 (UTC)

@Opabinia regalis: I tagged the article as G3 not because it was vandalism but because the article was a blatant hoax: there is no Philippine television writer by that name, and she had never worked on the series mentioned in the article. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 08:59, 7 July 2015 (UTC)
Ahh, I see; thanks for following up. If you tag with multiple criteria, the combined tag only shows the most general version of each problem. Looked like the usual case of someone trying to write about themselves. I userfied the article and tagged it as a user draft, which comes with a noindex. I'll take a look tomorrow to see if the user does anything else with it. Opabinia regalis (talk) 09:36, 7 July 2015 (UTC)

Post-midnight dates

Japanese (more familiar with Chinese btw) do note the validity, but its more of a niche thing. Anime is popular, but older guests (which I typically deal with) have little care of the subject of anime and manga. Discussing post-midnight times basically boils down to the "in progress" type thing. The concept that the "day doesn't change till the sun comes up" is definitely a dated one and is losing some ground. It used to be that the "night hours" were part of the same day - regardless of the "clock time". In modern days, that's a bit of an outdated thing, but for the purpose of advertising and telling guests to "stay up or plan for the event" definitely still works. You'll find that such listings are not universal, but when we have a show at 1:00 a.m. our guests typically arrive at 10 p.m. before the show starts. Hence the "深夜" in "週三深夜1時". English has rare examples as well, like fireworks after a double header in sporting or shows in cabarets and bars. For example, you have three acts in the cabaret, one at 10:30 p.m., one at 11:30 p.m. and one at 12:30 a.m. - the advertisement would list all three acts for the same date despite the third act being post-midnight. The reason being that the guests who stayed for the first two acts are not leaving and returning on a "different day" for the third act. While practically rare and unusual, most cases do not need to notate whether or not the person performed in the past on such a date and time - but for an encyclopedia or other record, it is the case. Events "in progress" thus go by the establishments calendar day (open and close cycle) for most cases. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 15:36, 19 July 2015 (UTC)

@ChrisGualtieri: The problem is whether or not the advertising date should nonetheless be used in an encyclopedia article. Advertising and writing an encyclopedia are two completely different beasts. While they have a similar purpose (to spread information), there is a crucial difference: in advertising, you are trying to persuade people to use/go to your product/service/location/event, whereas an encyclopedia's goal is to inform and nothing else. What works in a poster outside of a cabaret may not on an encyclopedia with almost 5 million articles. Each media has its own standards to follow. With that said, one of the main reasons why I am against the format that you are a proponent of is that, to put it simply, it's misinformation. Even with the footnote, saying that a show first aired on a particular date even though it actually aired the day after is misleading. For example, imagine the statement "Anime X premiered on January 1, 2000 [footnote: the show aired on January 2, 2000]". It's confusing to the readers, it's misleading since it makes you (at least initially) think that the show aired at a date different from an actual date, and as I've repeatedly mentioned, it violates the MOS (whether or not MOS is biased towards Western concepts is beside the point). Readers could complain about being mislead, even if the footnote is included; in fact, they might actually become even more confused because of the footnote. By contrast, the statement "Anime X premiered on January 2, 2000 [footnote: the show officially premiered on January 1, 2000 at 25:00]" is more factual and accurate, and would be an easier and less confusing introduction to non-informed readers of the Japanese practice of media dates, because the first thing they will see is the date that it actually premiered, meaning the date used for listing purposes such as databases. Besides, imagine the theoretical situation I mentioned in the discussion: of the anime which was advertised to premiere on December 31 but actually aired on January 1: what year should be used when listing in categories? I am perfectly aware that the threshold for inclusion on Wikipedia is verifiability and not the truth, but the thing is, Wikipedia also strives to be accurate (which has been a problem for many years), and using the media date in articles would be anything but accurate. In any case, both dates can be verified, and as mentioned by Juhachi on his userpage, even Japanese sources are gradually moving to the use of actual airdates. The planned change merely reflects that. Another possible issue is a technical one: while this may not be very common in most cases, there can be instances among certain devices when the footnote or the footnotes list simply won't show, perhaps due to technical issues/incompatibilities or loading problems. In this case, it would be a case of making more accessible information (in this case, the date of broadcast) that the reader is looking for. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 15:59, 19 July 2015 (UTC)

Thanks for clarifying her involvement with Love Planet Five. Can you add some of that detail to her biography so it doesn't look like a one-album/song collaboration? AngusWOOF (barksniff) 15:52, 2 September 2015 (UTC)

@AngusWOOF: It might be a bit difficult to find sources for that (especially now that I've Sound redesigned their website), so I'll probably get to it when I update her page when her new album (Parablepsia) comes out on the 16th. Remember that Love Planet Five wasn't really much of a band but was more of the unofficial name for I've Sound's line-up at the time (KOTOKO, Kawada, Eiko Shimamiya, MELL, and Kaori Utatsuki). By the way, could you take another look at LiSA (Japanese musician, born 1987) and its corresponding peer review? I made more fixes to the article the other day. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 16:06, 2 September 2015 (UTC)
Yeah, subunits can be a bit tricky. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't a one-off thing and that it was promoted independently of I've Sound in order to keep the name in the associated_acts. I'll take a look at the LiSA article later; it's good that it got reviewed by some folks outside of the WT:ANIME project. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 16:29, 2 September 2015 (UTC)

Hi,for this page I marked it for blp-prod,but can you explain such short article that you marked it for G11?--User:Gmaildamn (User talk:Gmaildamn) 11:23, 9 September 2015 (UTC)

@Gmaildamn: Well, in this case, BLPPROD wasn't necessary. The article did not show a credible claim to notability for its subject, meaning, it did not explain why Young deserves a Wikipedia article. This is why it qualified for A7. As for G11, well, the tone of the article was borderline promotional. It doesn't help that the article creator appeared to be Dr. Young himself. re Two articles and GAN

Hello. Since sometime last year, I had been planning to nominate for GA status the two following articles: Mami Kawada and LiSA (Japanese musician, born 1987), which I and other users have been working on for quite some time. However, I wanted to make sure that both articles are at a quality where they have a shot at GA before nominating them for GA status. Given that you seem to be experienced with GANs, do you think either article could pass a GA? Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 05:24, 29 October 2015 (UTC)

I'm not particularly knowledgeable, specifically, about those topics. However, what I would recommend is you go through and point-by-point compare to all the criteria at WP:Good article criteria. Then, compare to some recently promoted WP:Featured articles on the same topics, and see how they stack up as compared to overall structure, layout, lede size, etc. Good luck, — Cirt (talk) 05:27, 29 October 2015 (UTC)
@Cirt: In any case, I've nominated for GA LiSA's article. If you could refer the article to someone who has more knowledge of musician GANs then that would be appreciated. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 05:37, 29 October 2015 (UTC)
Perhaps try posting neutrally-worded, matter-of-fact notices to talk pages of relevant WikiProjects, like Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Music ? I hope that's helpful, — Cirt (talk) 05:41, 29 October 2015 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Bhuwan

Information icon Hello Narutolovehinata5. Thanks for patrolling new pages – it's a very important task! I'm just letting you know, however, that you shouldn't tag pages as lacking context (CSD A1), content (CSD A3),or significance (CSD A7) moments after they are created, as you did at Bhuwan. It's best to wait at least 10–15 minutes for more content to be added if the page is very short, and the articles should not be marked as patrolled. Tagging such pages in a very short space of time may drive away well-meaning contributors, which is not good for Wikipedia. Attack pages (G10), blatant nonsense (G1), copyright violations (G12) and pure vandalism/blatant hoaxes (G3) should of course be tagged and deleted immediately. Thanks.. The same principles apply to placing a G2 speedy on a page one minute after a new editor has made their one and only edit. A new editor is entitled to a decent opportunity to try and create an adequate page, and limiting them to one minute and one edit obviously doesn't fly. If we had a zero tolerance policy for technical gaffes, we might have nine editors left. The Big Bad Wolfowitz (aka Hullaballoo) (talk) 03:34, 1 November 2015 (UTC)

Deletion of Department Of

Hi Narutolovehinata5, I wasn't exactly sure of the editing process on the deletion log and was hoping to figure out how I could get my voice heard. The community of wiki moderators seemed swift to censor and put the post up for deletion delete without thorough explanation of how one could defend their page. After reading through the 5 pillars of wikipedia it seems that the only comedic publication at a university (with 10,000+ potential readers) started by a group of undergraduate women could be deemed notable, especially given the gender divide in the world of comedy. The definition of notable is subjective, however if you have a particular definition of what is 'notable' and what is 'not notable' I would be more than happy to hear it out (it is not specifically described in the wiki guidelines). If you were to be the sole judge of what is and is not notable, that is in and of itself another form of censorship something I'm sure the wikipedia community frowns upon. Chinese leaders have deemed the Tiananmen Square Protests as "not notable" enough to put in textbooks and the leadership of the state of Texas also felt that Thomas Jefferson was not 'notable' enough to be in a US History textbook. I'm obviously not equating these instances of censorship with the potential deletion of this page, however I thought it was worth bringing up the example to convey a point that it would be in some respects unfair to delete this page solely because you deem it to be "un-notable".

Though I realize that this comedic publication is not the NY Times or the Yale Record, I feel that it is odd to name a comedic magazine that caters to 10,000+ students and alumni as not notable. We have added a few more links to the page to provide some evidence of its existence. I understand that the title of the publication is very vague, but were hoping to hear your thoughts on what else we could do to fulfill the community guidelines.

thanks for reading! Gloriafrankensteinem (talk) 20:49, 16 November 2015 (UTC)gloriafrankensteinem

Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article LiSA (Japanese musician, born 1987) you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. Dear User Narutolovehinata5, Just wondering why you hated on my first article called Seven Different Leadership Styles. Regardless of you nominating my page for speedy deletion, I need to receive a copy of my article. I compiled this information for an entire semester during my Doctoral Program, and I would like a copy of my final article. Please email me a copy of my deleted article to sheimroch@gmail.com. Thank you. Sheimroch (talk) 05:56, 21 November 2015 (UTC)

Re: Mami Kawada

The article looks pretty good. One thing I wonder is why there is no info about the year she was born. Like with LiSA, I would recommend splitting the lead in two paragraphs as well as adding a brief intro to the Discography section. If you are still unsure whether this could become a GA, ask for a peer review like what I did with Kamiya Kaoru. Regards.Tintor2 (talk) 15:42, 22 November 2015 (UTC)

@Tintor2: The answer to that question is very simple: she hasn't revealed her year of birth. I've sent it to peer review three separate times, and in the last one a comment given was that it's really close to GA status. Anyway, should I nominate the article for GA, would it be okay for you to review it, or is it better for me to ask someone else to review it? Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 15:55, 22 November 2015 (UTC)
I would say go nominate it if you think it is well written.Tintor2 (talk) 16:11, 22 November 2015 (UTC)

Also about that Madoka peer review, I would advise you to write others' peer reviews while promoting your own peer review. That's at least how it worked for Kamiya Kaoru's peer review. Regards.Tintor2 (talk) 01:03, 25 November 2015 (UTC)

@Tintor2: Thing is, I don't exactly have experience with peer reviewing other articles. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 02:39, 25 November 2015 (UTC)

GoogleTrans gadget can do machine translation on Content Translation system

Hi there,

I noticed your request for Japanese language support for the Content Translation system at

1

You can try the GoogleTrans gadget, if you wish. It now does machine translation for Japanese to other languages, using the Google translation engine.

Help for this is at:

2

You can try the version of the gadget that uses the Yandex translation engine if you are translating from Cyrillic languages. Help for this is at:

3

I, myself, am an intermediate French reader, but since the French-English pair is quite good for Google, I have translated 24 frwiki articles on French forts to the enwiki in the last 6 weeks.

I'm not sure about the quality of the Japanese-English translation engine. Any feedback you can give on this would be most useful.

There is a Japanese Help page for GoogleTrans at:

ArenaCube page nomination

Hello Narutolovehinata5,

I understand your point why you classified the page I created about ArenaCube as promotional. As I stated in the relevant talk page, this happened because the info where gathered either by press releases and the company's website. However, I made several changes in the content. Let me know if it is OK now or if you feel that further changes are required.

Many thanks in advance for your help, Dkalo (talk) 16:02, 4 December 2015 (UTC)

You're right, but

considering that 50% of stuff that is on wikipedia, is false and fictional and thanks to you I got a F on my assessment — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lachlan1258 (talkcontribs) 22:39, 7 December 2015 (UTC)

Lachlan1258, the article was deleted because it was an Article about a subject obviously invented by article creator or associate, which does not credibly indicate the importance or significance of the subject. The article read like a story, a work of fiction, and that content is not suitable for Wikipedia.
If you would like, we could place the content on one of your user pages so you could continue to work on it. But only encyclopedic subjects are suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia that have demonstrated notability from reliable sources. This is not a platform for creative writing. Liz Read! Please read the whole thing before editing. I say READ.

You Narutolovehinata5, stop tagging the topic Shikkhok.com as speedy deletion. This topic is completely new from the very first edit by me. The very first edit was copied content. This time I edited the whole page. SO please look before you adding Speedy Deletion. There were no speedy deletion content. You READ carefully first. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Themasudur (talkcontribs) 10:25, 14 December 2015 (UTC)

Even with the promotional content remove, the article did not credibly state why the article should have an article on Wikipedia. Essentially, the article did not indicate "why should this have an article?" As it stands, the company is not remarkable enough to be included here per our notability guidelines. Basgann - Speedy Deletion

Hello, I hope everything goes well. I am trying to create a page for an online e-zine in Turkey which is Basgann.com and you tagged it for speedy deletion. Nevertheless, it is not a blog page, personal web-site etc. It is one of the newly developing media medium in Turkey which is e-zine like the printed men's magazines such as gq, esquire, boxer magazines. These popular printed mags are also have online e-zines in Turkey, too. (www.gq.com.tr; www.esquire.com.tr; boxerdergisi.tv) Also, these brands mentioned on wikipedia, too. Moreover, basgann in terms of daily page views, unique users etc. is bigger than these popular mags in Turkey. So, I need your help about this speedy deletion because it is unfair. Best regards, — Preceding unsigned comment added by Unexploredmind (talkcontribs) 10:43, 24 December 2015 (UTC)
