Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Jan Adhikar Party (Loktantrik) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. buidhe 14:39, 5 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion regarding legislative diagrams

[edit]

Hi Nahtrav, why are you reverting/removing the diagrams created by me? I have worked a hard to all pages of India's legislative assemblies and legislative councils and all the diagrams are up-to-date. So, please don't remove my diagrams. I have accepted your proposal for Chhattisgarh and Uttrakhand that arch-style diagrams are better but please don't change others. Thanks.--Junior Jumper (talk) 12:53, 7 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello ,Junior Jumper (talk).I respect your hard work. It is very nice, adorable and updated. Also thanks for understanding me. I also accept ur request in one condition; In future you can try update diagrams without circle borders it is nice.If there is anything to change, can I ask you to do? Nahtrav (talk)

Hmm,Junior Jumper (talk) but I don't think so. Also I request u to change the Punjab assembly diagram because the diagram is reverse and the ruling INC members should be placed first. Also in Bihar assembly, I request it to give JD(U) the official party color of dark blue and redraw it properly. Also for ur kind information my user name is Nahtrav not Mahtav.Nahtrav (talk)

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Draft:Puratchi Bharatham, without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. This is a rejected draft. Your role is to improve it, not move it to main name space Fiddle Faddle 12:59, 25 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Thooththukkudi a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Regarding the grouping of numerals in large numbers

[edit]

Hi, I noticed your edits on Dewas (Lok Sabha constituency). The relevant section (MOS:DIGITS) of the Wikipedia Manual of Style says that "Left of the decimal point, five or more digits are grouped into threes separated by commas ... Markup: produces this formatting." I request you to follow that guideline for future edits? -MPGuy2824 (talk) 04:23, 17 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah , I know well , but it doesn't apply and not compulsory for Indian articles, because we use different number system. Other than main important articles, it's okay to use local number system. Hope you understand MPGuy2824 (talk) . Nahtrav (talk) 10:54, 17 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, see Wikipedia:Manual of Style/India-related articles#Basic India conventions. The relevant line there : "Comma-delimited numbers should always be written in the Western style (e.g., 30,000,000; not 3,00,00,000)." Also, even if you think it isn't compulsory, i request that you not remove formatnum templates that have already been placed in articles that you edit. -MPGuy2824 (talk) 03:48, 18 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Nahtrav. You recently filed a complaint about User:Alluburam at WP:AN3 but for various reasons it received no admin action. I think you might consider opening a new complaint, but before doing so you should have a proper discussion at Talk:2022 Punjab Legislative Assembly election to argue for whatever changes you think are needed. A review of Special:Contributions/Alluburam shows that he reverted over a dozen changes made by you on 9 July but this is not exactly a 3RR violation, since his changes were consecutive. So we need a better effort by you to reveal the consensus, and then a further request to admins might be made. Your original report may have been overlooked because you signed but did not date your report. See WP:SIGN for how to sign properly. Next time around you should also indude the diffs in your report in the same way that other reports use. If you believe that Alluburam is changing the names of the electoral constituencies to non-standard versions (such as 'Baba Bakala' to 'Baba Bakala Sahib'), give us the documentation on that. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 18:58, 9 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@EdJohnston,here is the official government website for districts Official website and Assembly constituency from chief electoral officer of Punjab Official website, also there are wikilinks List of constituencies of the Punjab Legislative Assembly, List of districts of Punjab, India , hope these documents are clearly a proof for Alluburam's reverting wish edits. Also In the Talk:2022 Punjab Legislative Assembly election, I have opened a discussion, but before I opened I also saw a lot of users complaining him about his revert on their edits. I also have an doubt that whether this is a religious vandalism because he is giving Districts and constituencies a religious colour inspite of several users removing them repeatedly. Please have a look at them. Nahtrav (talk) 03:20, 10 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Ed, I agree that that while the edits were interrupted, the intent was to be consecutive, which, in my view, is what matters WP:3RR-wise. Nahtrav, maybe I'm a bit thick, but looking at the latest changes, I'm kind of baffled. What is it that I'm looking at? El_C 10:57, 10 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, those columns are unnecessary given that state election articles in india have winners runnerups and margins only Nahtrav (talk) 13:21, 10 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Infobox Assam Vidhan Sabha constituency, Template:Infobox Kerala Niyamasabha Constituency, Template:Infobox Vidhan Sabha constituency and Template:Infobox state assembly constituency has been nominated for merging with Template:Infobox Indian state legislative assembly constituency. Moving constituency articles

[edit]

Nahtrav, while moving constituency articles, please remember to correct the nav template at the bottom of the article as well. e.g. I just fixed the link to Byndoor (Karnataka Assembly constituency) in Template:Assembly constituencies of Karnataka. Thanks. -MPGuy2824 (talk) 03:14, 16 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@MPGuy2824, Hereafter I will look into this one, thanks Nahtrav (talk) 04:02, 16 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Chronological ordering in constituency articles

[edit]

Hi. I've reverted your change of reverse chronological ordering of elections and you reverted it back. Can you explain why? -- DaxServer (talk) 14:59, 19 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@User talk:DaxServer, You not only reverted my chronological order, but also other edits I made about turnout, Nota etc., which is not acceptable, if you want to change then change the order ,then you can do it, but not the whole edits Nahtrav (talk) 15:15, 19 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, I didn't notice that. Thanks for the clarification! -- DaxServer (talk) 16:02, 19 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Also, a note, you didn't put them in chrono order (2004 --> 2018), but in reverse chrono (2018 --> 2004) here: Special:Diff/1034329641 -- DaxServer (talk) 16:07, 19 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know clearly about that but election results article are made this way in India and surrounding countries @User:DaxServer, Anytime:), also thanks for your valuable editing in Wikipedia, keep going ;) Nahtrav (talk) 16:15, 19 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your contributions as well 🙏 -- DaxServer (talk) 16:49, 19 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Nahtrav. Could you arrange the elections in chronological order. This is related to your edit Special:Diff/1039020198. See WP:SALORDER. Thanks! -- DaxServer (talk) 08:42, 16 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
DaxServer @Every election boxes in 90% of countries use reverse order because of the cause that recent elections hold significance and there is no specific rule that election results should be in this way Nahtrav (talk) 09:05, 16 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Removing UBL templates in consistencies

[edit]

Hi. Could you please stop replacing the {{ubl}} templates from consistencies' infoboxes? -- DaxServer (talk) 10:49, 14 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Also, the existence parameter's MOS is better as 1952–present than the one that you are adding as 1952-Present. The "–" could also be generated by {{endash}} template. But there is a lot of debate around the "-" vs "–" vs "—", perhaps you could just stick with the lowercase "present" instead of "Present" and use the dash whatever you'd like. -- DaxServer (talk) 10:54, 14 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@-- DaxServer, I accept the second request but about the first one,ubl looks good in desktop view but in mobile view it creates a lot of space between two constituencies, which makes the Infobox very long, but using break tag looks like same as ubl desktop version, both in desktop and mobile view. Nahtrav (talk) 04:30, 15 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Mobile rendering seems quite bizarre/under-developed.
I have another question: What is the purpose of setting the width=500px? It breaks the free-flow rendering of the tables and make it look awkward, since not all the names could fit in a 500px width. -- DaxServer (talk) 08:45, 15 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@ DaxServer Before I edited it was only 450 px , I extended it only and also it is not awkward, there were mistakes there in article, so I am trying to correct as much as possible Nahtrav (talk) 08:54, 15 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
In that case, could you simply remove the width restriction in the future edits? There was one article I noticed couple of days ago before I wrote to you, where the width restriction didn't look good - Narasapuram (Lok Sabha constituency) -- DaxServer (talk) 15:22, 15 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@ DaxServer Both are same ,no difference between them in normal casefs even I tried it, width restrictions for those tables are necessary because in future if any editor add MLA and party like Bihar and WB then the table will become long and look awkward, if it is restricted then it will be neat Nahtrav (talk) 15:29, 15 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hmm, I could see your point. -- DaxServer (talk) 15:49, 15 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Discretionary sanctions alert

[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

El_C 17:38, 18 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@El_C,I obey the rules of Wikipedia, at the same time I am within my editorial rights as a simple editor. I already delivered my comment for the bot. Notify me whenever results of discussion is achieved Nahtrav (talk)

Nahtrav, I don't understand what you're trying to say about "delivering your comment for the bot." As for you repeating that you "obey the rules of Wikipedia" — simply saying that does not make it so. I have a mandate from the community and am authorized by the Arbitration Committee to make that determination and, again, I'm letting you know that your behaviour today did not inspire confidence. And that if such conduct persists, that may end up being a cause for sanctions. Thanks in advance for your close attention to this matter. El_C 03:08, 19 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@El_C, earlier I have took RFC as a discussion bot, now I had cleared myself. I also want neutrality followed in this discussion irrespective of the participants being an Admin or a normal editor. And above all reliable reference is the most powerful tool that a normal editor have. The discussion should achieve a result as soon as possible to get a clear picture not only for editors but for readers too as they may be misguided with old references . Thank you for letting me know the rules Nahtrav (talk) 03:27, 19 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Nahtrav, sorry, I don't think you're getting it at all. Live up to spirit of WP:CANVASS in the future, please. And try to avoid WP:BLUDGEON and WP:IDHT conduct. Also, an WP:RFC is a type of dispute resolution request. All the bot does is list these on the main RfC page, so whatever was meant by I have took RFC as a discussion bot, now I had cleared myself was lost on me. It would probably be a good idea if you caught up with the basics if you intend to edit a contentious topic area, such as the one covered by WP:ARBIND. Hope this helps. Rollback granted

[edit]

Hi Nahtrav. After reviewing your request, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when using rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into trouble or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! ~TNT (she/they • talk) 08:08, 30 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
