Why did you tag this article as unreferenced? I wish people would actually read the reference section at the end of an article before firing away.--MacRusgail (talk) 13:45, 11 February 2010 (UTC)
I notice that you also tagged James Craig (rugby union) as unreferenced. Why?
You say "your article needs some more reliable sources" - in which case, then use, {{ref improve}}, if you wish to see more than one article. The articles you tagged were NOT unreferenced at all. If you expect me to use online references for everything, then I don't buy that at all, since webpages have an average lifespan of two years or less, meaning that the references would be dead after that period, and the article would be completely unreferenced (for real). By using print references, I am using references which do not disappear overnight.--MacRusgail (talk) 15:57, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
Sorting
I'd suggest looking at the {{SortKey}} template, that usually does the trick for just about any sorting issue. The Rambling Man (talk) 11:30, 12 February 2010 (UTC)
Help regading "SORTING"
{{helpme}}
Tell me how to sort the "Floors", "Construction", and "Built" sections in this article, List of tallest residential buildings in the world.Someone have given me the link of sortkey but i dont understand how to apply this method in this article,
Nabil rais2008 (talk) 16:05, 12 February 2010 (UTC)
- Hi there. I don't believe {{sortkey}} is appropriate. However, what you need to do is add the class "wikitable sortable" to the table and class "unsortable" to columns which you don't want to sort. For example:
{|class="wikitable sortable" !class="unsortable"|Non-sortable column !Sortable column !Another sortable column |- |Column data 1 |Column data 2 b |Column data 3 a |- |Column data 1 |Column data 2 a |Column data 3 b |}
- Produces:
Non-sortable column | Sortable column | Another sortable column |
---|---|---|
Column data 1 | Column data 2 b | Column data 3 a |
Column data 1 | Column data 2 a | Column data 3 b |
Hope that helps --Shirik (Questions or Comments?) 16:26, 12 February 2010 (UTC)

Copyediting
Hey Nabil, I've done some copyediting on the list of tallest residential buildings. Just looking at the FLC page, I'm thinking it's probably not going to be passed this time around. I would suggest that you expand the lead to two paragraphs, work on improving the alt text, and fix as many of the issues pointed out by reviewers as possible in order to promote the article. Cheers, Nikkimaria (talk) 14:52, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
- Hi Nabil. Although I do some copyediting and proofing while doing peer reviews, I no longer have time for as much copyediting as I once did. I was glad to help with a review of the tallest residential buildings list, but I can't keep coming back to it. The others waiting in line at peer review need help too. Perhaps one or more of the reviewers at FLC can help you work through the remaining problems. Finetooth (talk) 18:47, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
Just thought I'd let you know about this; in case you didn't already know. Here is their promotional video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U738MYMkk_I Daniel Christensen (talk) 04:42, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
Want to delete article
{{helpme}}
I want to delete this article Dubai Aquatic Centre, i had created this article in july 2009, and now i have again created the article named Dubai Sports Complex, these both stadiums are same, i mistakenly created this one but i want to delete the older one because i have mentioned some more content and updates in the new article, so tell me how can i place the tag of deletion to the article of Dubai Aquatic Centre ??
Nabil rais2008 (talk) 16:14, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
- If you were the only one who had contributed to the first article, you could put {{db-author}} at the top as a request to delete; but others have contributed to it. I think the best thing is to make it into a WP:REDIRECT to the new article, so I will do that. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 16:25, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
Help reagarding article
{{helpme}}
I have created the article of Marina 106 tower twice, but both times it was deleted, Actually the ground of marina 106 was broken but till now construction has not been started, and the reliable sources like Emporis, Skyscraperpage, and CTBUH(Council on tall buildings and urban habitat) say its status as Proposed, On Hold or Approved.I dont know why they deleted this article as in Wikipedia there are a number of articles of skyscrapers whose status is either Proposed or Approved but they didnt ! When this article was nominated for deletion , in the discussion page they say that this article is not notable, and i had mentioned there that this tower is going to be 425 meters tall and will have 107 floors and will become tallest residential building in Dubai, if completed before Pentominium, but they didint understood my point, they arise another point which was that this article hasnt reliable sources, but i had mentioned upto 5 to 6 referenves, including Emporis, Skyscraperpage, and CTBUH, as mentioned above, so now i want to create it once again, so what i do now ???
Nabil rais2008 (talk) 15:21, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
- You could probably create the page at User:Nabil rais2008/Marina 106 and then, once you're finished, you could ask someone to review it to see if it'd be suitable for movement into the mainname space SpitfireTally-ho! 15:29, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
Re:Alttext for images
Unfortunately, alttext is most certainly not one of my strengths. Perhaps you could find someone else more able to help? Good luck. Cheers, Nikkimaria (talk) 13:47, 27 February 2010 (UTC)

Talk:Skyline seems to be again dead. Please carry on the discussion so that we could improve the article. --Extra999 (talk) 21:09, 11 March 2010 (UTC)

Al Quds Endowment Tower is not in DUBAI!!!!
On the article Al Quds Endowment Tower you added that category skyscrapers in Dubai! Daniel Christensen (talk) 21:01, 19 April 2010 (UTC)
Also, the Marina 106 article that's gotten deleted. I have had this page here since January 2010. User:Daniel_Christensen/Marina_106 It comes up in a Google search http://www.google.com/search?source=ig&hl=en&rlz=1G1GGLQ_ENUS294&q=marina+106&aq=f&aqi=g8g-m1g-ms1&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai= as the third result so if someone was really looking for an article on it they'd find it. That's the thing about subpages, they come up in search results just like main pages. Daniel Christensen (talk) 22:51, 19 April 2010 (UTC)
Hi!
Following a discussion at the talk page, I've recently made a series of edits which may or may not be considered controversial. I'm letting you know because you've recently edited Dubai. If you disagree with my edits I'd welcome the chance to discuss this at the talk page (or, indeed, anywhere!)

No, you have the right, I'm just wondering why you aren't spending more time editing the pakistani version of wikipedia (unless you are). By the way, don't forget to sign your posts. -Ecko1o1 (talk) 13:19, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
