Wikimeetup Dubai
Hi, if you're from UAE or will be around Dubai on November 23/24/25, Is there any possibility of arranging first meetup between Wikipedians? Do let me know what do you think.--Saqib talk 16:01, 13 November 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Saqib Qayyum (talk • contribs)
Formatting on Burj Dubai
I'm not going to revert your edit again because edit-warring over formatting is stupid, but might I let you know that formatting by adding numerous blank lines is just not done. This is mainly because there are many different computer monitor sizes... Also it looks untidy and unprofessional to add a large whitespace to any article. The solution on the Burj Dubai article would be to remove some other images to make room. --timsdad (talk) 15:54, 20 December 2009 (UTC)

What do you know about it? Might you have a copy of what the article looked like pre-deletion? Did you make it; you seemed to be the only one arguing for it on the PROD. I don't know why random articles seem to just get "attacked" while others stay; but I say that if it is surly going to get built; there is no chance of cancellation, then it should have an article; for it will be over 100 stories! Tallest buildings
Hi. I'll be glad to take a look if the article goes unreviewed long enough to get into the PR backlog pile. We're struggling to keep up; with luck, you will get a couple of good reviews before the article reaches the backlog. Finetooth (talk) 05:33, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, much better. You are using {{cite}} correctly, and the citations generally comply with guidelines. I see some minor things that I'd adjust a bit. I think it's preferable to spell out the publishers' names like Emporis Corporation and Skyscraper Source Media than to use emporis.com or Skyscraper page. Also, I would spell out Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat rather than abbreviating it as CTBUH in the citations. Sometimes readers forget what the abbreviations mean and have to hunt for the explanations in the main text. Finetooth (talk) 17:44, 20 January 2010 (UTC)
I'm afraid I have speedy failed the article for the reasons listed. J Milburn (talk) 13:09, 19 January 2010 (UTC)

- My thanks to you. This website provides a lot of information and maybe you could use as a primary source: http://www.stevenholl.com/project-detail.php?id=58 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.65.20.46 (talk) 20:57, 25 January 2010 (UTC)

Other reviewers for the list article
I'd suggest reading the entries in the "General copyediting" section at WP:PRV and choosing one or two that sound promising. Then you'd need to ask directly by posting a note to the talk page of whatever editor(s) you choose. Alternatively, you can ask someone you know or have worked with on other Wikipedia articles to review List of tallest residential buildings in the world. I often ask for help from individual Wikipedia editors in addition to asking for reviews through WP:PR. Hope this helps. Finetooth (talk) 21:35, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
- I'm very sorry, but my hectic schedule right now makes it impossible for me to help with your article. However, I wish you good luck! Scartol • Tok 14:21, 12 February 2010 (UTC)

Hi Nabil. I have added the rollback flag. Please review WP:ROLLBACK and remember to use it only for blatant vandalism. Pedro : Chat 22:08, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
