A tag has been placed on Rahul Bhatia, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

WP:G11 violation. Another spam article by a well-known paid editor,[1] author of other fine spam articles, such as Khon Kaen MICE City, BioScale Inc., and Baer & Bosch Auctioneers. This will be the third deletion; after deleting, please salt

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. —Unforgettableid (talk) 22:45, 22 December 2014 (UTC)

Are you violating the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use clause regarding undisclosed paid editing?

Greetings, Mr RD!

You write on your user page:

Complying with Wikipedia guidelines, I hereby announce following are the edits which might have a WP:COI in them

Thank you for writing this. But I think it is not specific enough.

The "Wikipedia guidelines" link which you linked to contains the Terms of Use for paid editors. Now, Meta:Terms of use/FAQ on paid contributions without disclosure#How should I disclose paid contributions in my user page? et seq. seem to imply that, if you are paid, it would be wise to be more upfront.

Perhaps the following suggested alternative would be better?

Complying with the site Terms of use, I hereby announce that these are the articles which I have been paid to work on

Kind regards, —Unforgettableid (talk) 20:34, 23 December 2014 (UTC)

Dear Unforgettableid, thank you for the suggestion. I have included my paid edits also. You can find them from now on. Sorry for all the inconvenience that you had to go through. Mr RD 14:17, 24 December 2014 (UTC)
Thank you! —Unforgettableid (talk) 21:07, 25 January 2015 (UTC)

J=Hi. I've declined your speedy request because A9 is not appropriate. A9, unlike other speedy criteria, requires two things. First, the recording must be non-notable, and second, the performers must not have a Wikipedia article. In this case, the Saddolls do have an article. If the record is non-notable, there's no speedy for it - it has to be WP:PROD (or WP:AFD). Peridon (talk) 17:53, 26 January 2015 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited All India Bakchod, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Being Human. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Replaceable fair use File:Jitendra Kumar as Arjun Kejriwal.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Jitendra Kumar as Arjun Kejriwal.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Peripitus (Talk) 11:04, 8 May 2015 (UTC)

Wanted the reason for deletion of page BuyBackMart and how should we comply to Wikipedia Policies

BuyBackMart is the first complete online re-commerce marketplace Wikipedia has deleted its companies page, which gives users insight about the company, so did not get what was wrong with it that you deleted it. For any improvements in the article please let us know and we will see to it that we comply with Wikipedia policies.

Dear J21081992, I nominated the page for deletion because I could not establish the notability of the article. Please read WP:NOTE and WP:VER carefully. If you think that the article is notable, try creating a new one with more reliable citations which can prove its notability. Mr RD 12:54, 10 May 2015 (UTC)

COI Guidelines

For greater transparency per WP:PLAINANDSIMPLECOI:

Declare your conflict of interest. Being transparent about who you are and who you're working for is the easiest way to gain the community's trust, get help, and avoid embarrassing revelations of misconduct. Clearly state your background and goals on your userpage as explained here, at the COI noticeboard, and at the talk pages of articles related to your COI. You should add a link to your COI declaration in your signature as explained here. It's also appropriate to add the connected contributor template to the article's talk page. The COI template may also be used on the article, if there are neutrality concerns being discussed.

Not sure about the signature part, but I think that reasonable disclosure would include stating your COI on the relevant talk pages (as recommended above).-KH-1 (talk) 15:10, 14 May 2015 (UTC)

Dear KH-1, thank you for writing your concerns. I highly acknowledge your efforts and contribution to Wikipedia to make it a better information source. Please have a look at the actual guidelines here and also in the essay that you quoted here: Wikipedia:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide#Transparency. I followed the rules and disclose all my COI on my user page (It mentions about disclosure "at least one of the following ways" that's why I chose my user page only). I also quoted my background and other information earlier on as mentioned in the essay but removed them because of privacy concerns. However, I will reorganize my user page so as to make COI interests clearly visible.

I appreciate your concern and would like to assure you that I only help those people who are notable enough but do not have enough technical skills, do not know about Wikipedia guidelines and polices or have no time to request Wikipedia page for themselves.

Regarding backlinks, I only add factual information to the pages (most of the times without any COI) so that every information on Wikipedia can be made verifiable. I believe it is better to have verification citations than dead links and tags. Now a days industry blogs are the often the most reliable and easily available source of information. Point is every fact on Wikipedia should be realistic and must have real claim according to WP:VERIFY and WP:TRUTH. Please notify me whenever you feel that the citation that I quote is not a reliable source. Thank you for your time and patience, Mr RD 17:54, 14 May 2015 (UTC)

Mind-map of Wikipedia : comply to Wikipedia Policies

Hello, please find below my arguments of why LearnDiscovery – mindmap of Wikipedia (software) should not be delated. --50.242.92.217 (talk) 18:57, 19 May 2015 (UTC) The article is about using complex networks to compute a mind-map of a database, in this case Wikipedia, and to make it accessible via specific user-interfaces.

Please note that I am a designer of the app, but I invite you not to bluntly disregard this article because of this matter: I wanted to provide an informative article about how a product - in this case a mobile app - has been build, and combine concepts of topology of complex networks, algorithms, information-retrieval and user-centered designed aspects - all accountable aspects in my background. Please note that the article *does not* promote the app anyhow with *qualitative adjectives* or *subjective opinionated content*. The title includes: name of the product, the keyword of the concept - mind-map - and the source based on which it is applied; it also reports it is a software, not to mislead a user.

As a mockup, I used the article Discovr, which related to a mobile app for iOS. Discovr article provides a bare description of the interface of a mobile app, thus quite promotional in its relevance for a "collective knowledge", and does not provide any useful insight on cause-effects correlations or for aggregating new knowledge - an effort I tried to put in my article, which describes how user-centered interfaces can be connected atop of topology of complex graphs - weighted graphs, to be specific, and they can be useful as a reference. Concluding, instead of a mere description of a product, this article propose an informative reference on applicability of complex networks and design. If there are other software similar and applied to the same knowledge base, I will be glad to include more references and edit it. I invite you to share your arguments on how the article can be improved for making it more informative. thank you.

Proposed deletion of Billionaires Row (Champagne)

The article Billionaires Row (Champagne) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article fails to meet WP:CORP; other than a single, very brief article from The Drink Business, all of the available sources are either unreliable (i.e., press releases) or merely mention the business in passing.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. Fails WP:BLP1E and WP:ARTIST. The only notable work of art that the artist made was only covered by one reliable source--Huffington Post. Claims that the piece was "one of the most offensive painting [sic] ever created" have only been made by unreliable sources.

Information icon Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Sir David Martin Foundation, as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". WP:MINOR specifically says not to mark an edit as minor when "removing visible tags or other templates in an article".

Thank you for this information. I didn't know about that and thought minority is counted lengthwise. Will surely keep this in mind for future. Mr RD (talk) 09:03, 24 June 2015 (UTC)

Conflicts of interest

While you have disclosed the articles for which you have received compensation to write/edit, the terms of use also require you to disclose your "employer, client, and affiliation" for pages that you are receiving compensation for. At this time, you have not done so on your user page. Please update your user page with that information to bring your editing into compliance with the terms of use. Inks.LWC (talk) 08:30, 24 June 2015 (UTC)

Thank you for this suggestion. I'll try to frame a structure for this and include in on my user page very shortly. Right now I do not have much information on my clients because their identity is kept protected by a third party website. Your concern is much appreciated. Mr RD (talk) 09:07, 24 June 2015 (UTC)
Regardless of whether you know who specifically your clients are, you do know who your employer is, correct? In that case, it needs to be disclosed pursuant to the terms of use, either on your user page or on the articles' talk pages. Inks.LWC (talk) 21:46, 25 June 2015 (UTC)
In many cases, I do not know my employer as they all use the username on the freelance marketplace site. However, I've included many of them which I knew in my user page. I'll add the platform name where the information is not available. You can find it now. Thank you for letting me know about the regulation. I'll add more details as I have it. Once again, I highly appreciate your effort and taking out time from your busy schedule. Mr RD (talk) 16:27, 26 June 2015 (UTC)
If you are getting paid, at some point wouldn't you know your employer? Wouldn't it be whoever is paying you? Most of them look good now, although I would think it would be easy to determine who "Fiverr" is based on who actually paid you to edit EatSeeHear. Let me know if I can be of any further help. Inks.LWC (talk) 19:54, 29 June 2015 (UTC)
@Inks.LWC: Fiverr is a website where people can hire freelancers for small tasks - if you search the site (I'd link, but it's blacklisted) there are plenty who will edit or create a Wikipedia article for $5. If this is what Mr RD is doing, isn't it textbook WP:NOPAY which should all be going through talk pages? --McGeddon (talk) 20:15, 29 June 2015 (UTC)
Yeah, it appears that mostmuch of his COI editing, as of now, is in violation of WP:NOPAY, because he still does not make the necessary disclosures for mostmany of the articles he is editing and creating (although even for those he has disclosed, there is no explicit ban on editing and it is only "very strongly discouraged", but it probably should be going through talk pages). I've been trying to give the benefit of the doubt here and allow Mr RD time to get in compliance with the terms of use. (Also, thank you for the clarification of Fiverr... I feel a wee bit foolish now knowing that it is a website, and not a person's username.) Inks.LWC (talk) 20:21, 29 June 2015 (UTC)
Hi, I've mentioned nearly all of my employers/clients/affiliations as suggested by you (A few still missing, I've requested them to disclose their information too). I'd have disclosed it much earlier if I knew beforehand. I'd also like to remind you here that disclosing identity of editors is against WP:PRIVACY, WP:HARASS and takes precedence over WP:COI. I want to contribute and improve Wikipedia as much as you do (you can verify it from my contribution history). I help those who lack the technical know-how of editing Wikipedia and do not know about its rules and regulations. While doing so I keep neutrality and establishing notability of the pages as my top most priority. But sometimes I also misjudge a subject's notability and may even get biased and this is where editors like you become so important (I admire you for your passionate role). As it is an open source platform, you are free to review all my contributions if you like and I'd be happy to reply to all your criticism (I believe it makes humans better). Mr RD (talk) 10:59, 1 July 2015 (UTC)
Correct; however, I do not think anyone has disclosed your identity or even come close to doing so. Inks.LWC (talk) 19:17, 1 July 2015 (UTC)

The source that you added to Jim Trick is not reliable. It was written by the publicist for the coffee house where Jim Trick was playing, and it was posted to a website that allows for self-publishing. If you are going to insist on editing the articles that you are compensated for, instead of proposing changes to the talk pages of the articles, you need to be using reliable sources. Sorry didn't focused that the article was published by Me and Thee. Just watched it mentioned now in the summary now (I know it's very silly of me!). Thank you for correcting the mistake. 14:51, 9 July 2015 (UTC)

The article Ankita Tiwana has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:NGOLF and WP:GNG; the subject has only been substantively mentioned in one reliable source.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Stub

Hello Mr RD,

I noticed you marked an article as a stub using the {{stub}} template. Did you know that there are thousands of stub types that you can use to clarify what type of stub the article is? Properly categorizing stubs is important to the Wikipedia community because it helps various WikiProjects to identify articles that need expansion.

If you have questions about stub sorting, don't hesitate to ask! There is a wealth of stub information on the stub sorting WikiProject, and hundreds of stub sorters. Thanks! Rubbish computer 09:03, 18 July 2015 (UTC)

Hello computer, thank you for the suggestion but I do not know about any plugin or software or any other javascript that can do this job without me remembering the templates for individual stub sorting. Are there any? Please let me know. I'd be happy to sort stubs and help Wikipedia. Mr RD (talk) 17:08, 18 July 2015 (UTC)

reply to Stub sorting help.

Thank you for your contributions, also. There may be tools or scripts, but I don't know. There are lists of stub templates you can refer to, and as Rubbish Computer says above, much help can be found on the stubs wikiproject. Rpyle731talk 01:05, 25 July 2015 (UTC)

So sorry about the above! Page curation glitch - I have re-reviewed the pages. Again, sorry to take up your time. Thanks for understanding :) ~ Anastasia [Missionedit] (talk) 19:01, 15 August 2015 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Kunal Shah (entrepreneur), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Wilson College. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Darial redirect

Hello. I was wondering if you could clarify the problem with the redirecting of "Darial" to "Darial Gorge" (if there was ever anything else with "Darial" in its name, I expected it to be turned into a disambiguation page). It is not a topic I care about. I think that I made it during my participation with the 1911 Encyclopedia Britannica Project, as it was from 2005 and the gorge article has a reference for the 1911 EB. I regret participating in the project now. In addition to the extreme racism of many articles and the out of date content, there were/are other problems with the project. Still, I do not understand what is wrong with the redirect. If I violated any policy, I would like to know so that I do not repeat the mistake.

I just looked to see if there was anything else with "Darial" in its name and found "Darial, Pakistan" among other things. However, I will not turn it into a disambiguation page until I hear from you. Thank you, Kjkolb (talk) 05:30, 5 September 2015 (UTC)

Hi Kjkolb, I came across the page while patrolling newly created pages. At the time it was accidentally blanked Worldbruce because of which I nominated it for deletion. He however caught the mistake later on and reverted my edit. I'm unaware of any situation where it should be converted into a disambig or not. Mr RD (talk) 07:17, 5 September 2015 (UTC)

Question

Information icon Hello Mr RD. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a black hat practice.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Mr RD. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. If you are being compensated, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, please do not edit further until you answer this message. — Brianhe (talk) 07:01, 17 September 2015 (UTC)

Dear Mr. Brianhe, I do have WP:COI in some cases which I disclose on my user page as well as talk page of the Wikipedia page according to Wikimedia Terms of Use. I take utmost care to ensure neutrality of the articles and establishing notability. I help those who do not have technical know-how and are unaware of Wikipedia policies regarding how to create a Wikipedia page. Even then, some improvements might be felt needed for which you are free to review each of my contributions. I'd be happy to sort out any issues to make Wikipedia a better, more reliable information source. Mr RD (talk) 07:50, 17 September 2015 (UTC)
Thanks for your prompt reply. Two things. First, are you sure your disclosures are up to date? Your edit history seems a bit out of sync. Roman Saini perhaps? Second, could you go put the {{Connected contributor (paid)}} templates on the talkpages of the articles you declared? I did this at Talk:Sliding uncus syndrome as an example. — Brianhe (talk) 13:33, 17 September 2015 (UTC)
Regarding Roman Saini, I met with the guy once and that's how I got to know about him. On almost all pages, I've already disclosed my paid contributions (Don't know how this one got left). I think there aren't anymore left to the list right now. If there are any, kindly bring them to my notice. I'd add the template to those pages as well. Mr RD (talk) 16:11, 17 September 2015 (UTC)
I don't see where you've added disclosures yourself, and there's no connected contributor notice of any kind on any of the following:
Please add {{Connected contributor (paid)}} to every article you have edited for pay, before proceeding with any new editing. This is extremely important to comply with the Terms of Service. — Brianhe (talk) 04:57, 22 September 2015 (UTC)
