Speedy deletion nomination of Pace Tower
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Pace Tower requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Randykitty (talk) 11:58, 9 October 2013 (UTC)

Nomination of Pace Tower for deletion
[edit]A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Pace Tower is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Pace Tower until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Ben Ben (talk) 19:26, 13 October 2013 (UTC)
Port Tower Complex
[edit]I noticed that you have repeatedly added information about the Port Tower Complex in Karachi being on-hold to several articles. Unfortunately, the usual reliable sources, CTBUH and Emporis record the Port tower as being only a proposal. That suggests the project has not yet started construction and therefore it cannot now be on hold. And that is why I have repeatedly reverted your edits.
If, on the other hand, you have a reliable source showing the building actually did start construction (maybe an official groundbreaking, or cornerstone laying, or foundation digging), and now staying it is officially on hold, then feel free to cite that source. Astronaut (talk) 00:58, 15 October 2013 (UTC)
Are you related to that users?
[edit]Hi, you didn't give an aswer to my question: there. Why are you writing articles about buldings, claming that they are finished, that are in reality on proposal or (on hold) construction sites? Wikipedia is not a fantasy game. --Ben Ben (talk) 22:38, 16 October 2013 (UTC)
Answer copied from my talk page, to prevent a splitted diskussion:
No way
[edit]- No, I'm not. Secondly i love o write buildings, high-rises and skyscrapers.
- Why do you want my articles to e deleted? Just because I'm from a third world country?? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mohsin17 (talk • contribs) 06:53, 18 October 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Mubarak Center, but we cannot accept original research. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, and ideas—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Please adhere to our editorial policies and guidelines, original research is not permitted, as has been communicated to you on multiple occasions. Yamaguchi先生 18:07, 2 October 2015 (UTC)

Forums aren't reliable sources
[edit]Hey, Mohsin17,
Your user talk page is filled with warnings about not including original research in articles and not using content from user forums or discussion boards (like those at http://www.skyscrapercity.com/) as a reliable source. Yet, you continue to do so. If you continue in this manner, ignoring the advice of more experienced editors along with Wikipedia policies (WP:RS, WP:NOR, WP:V), you will face editing blocks of increasing duration. Please discontinue these practices. Liz Read! Talk! 19:27, 14 October 2015 (UTC)
October 2015 - Edit warring
[edit] You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on List of rapid transit systems in Pakistan. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 16:24, 20 October 2015 (UTC)
- Hello Mohsin17. Would you please reconsider your most recent edits to the List of rapid transit systems in Pakistan article? You are currently in violation of the Wikipedia:Edit warring policy. [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] Since at least October 2013, multiple members of the Wikipedia community have requested that you avoid original research and provide verifiable sources for the content you submit, respecting our Wikipedia:Verifiability policy. Rather than aggressively revert to your preferred version, which is flawed due to failing to meet our sourcing requirements, please consider utilizing the talk page to discuss your changes, and perhaps other members of the community can assist you with locating appropriate sources if they are available. Wikipedia is a collaborative effort, and there are rules and guidelines in place to ensure the integrity of the content we present to our readers. I hope that you will elect to work together to resolve these issues and wish you well in your future endeavors. Regards, Yamaguchi先生 00:21, 21 October 2015 (UTC)
Hello, Mohsin17,
I can see you've done a lot of work on this article but you need to improve the citations.
Wikipedia:Citing sources#Web pages states that citations for internet pages typically include URL of the webpage – that is the URL of the webpage where the referenced content can be found, not, e.g., the main page of a website when the content is on a subpage of that website
, along with other pieces of information (please look at the linked page). Just posting http://www.ltc.gop.pk/ and http://www.railpk.com/ is insufficient, you need a link to a webpage that confirms the content you have posted. If you have questions, please visit the Help Desk or the Teahouse. Liz Read! Talk! 17:02, 20 October 2015 (UTC)
Edit-warring and unhelpful resubmissions
[edit]Hi there, your edit here, which appears to be part of a long-term edit war, is unhelpful for a number of reasons, the most obvious being the edit-warring. You also restore problematic content with no valid explanation. I found a number of statements in the "Currently active" subsection that were either not supported by the sources, or were unsourced entirely. You need to be aware that per WP:BURDEN, if you restore content that was removed for being unsourced or improperly sourced, the burden is yours to be sure that those issues are fixed before you resubmit. Repeatedly submitting problematic content is disruptive, and you already have an established pattern of submitting unsourced or poorly sourced content. If you submit unsourced content again, your editing privileges will be interrupted again because you keep forcing other editors to clean up after you. Please stop wasting valuable volunteers' time, and please stop edit-warring. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 23:56, 27 October 2015 (UTC)

November 2015
[edit]Your recent editing history at List of metropolitan areas by population shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to List of slums in Pakistan, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Sam Sailor Talk! 21:13, 11 November 2015 (UTC)
- Please do not blank pages, as you did to List of slums in Pakistan, whatever the reason. Somebody will come to Wikipedia, find a blank page and wonder what on earth is going on. If an article is a duplicate of another, then redirect it. If you feel that an article doesn't belong on Wikipedia, then look at the deletion policy. If it indeed meets the criteria for deletion in your judgement, then nominate it as appropriate. Thank you. — Smjg (talk) 23:25, 12 November 2015 (UTC)
- Mohsin, the fact that you deleted the entire content on the page five times demonstrates a glaring lack of judgment that make me wonder about your suitability to edit here. What was your plan? That you'd blank the page and someone would magically come by later to clean up your mess? Compounding that, you have already been warned about edit-warring. If I see you do it again, I will have no alternative but to interrupt your editing privileges to protect the project.
- It worries me that you didn't think to look up our legitimate deletion procedures at WP:DELETE. There are three major processes: WP:PROD to propose deletion of an article that you legitimately believe would be uncontroversial. Speedy deletion is another method, but speedy deletions have very specific criteria. Articles for deletion is the third major process. It takes 7 days and requires feedback from the community. People nominating articles for deletion must perform due diligence first. See WP:BEFORE. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 14:27, 13 November 2015 (UTC)
Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Iqbal Park may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. Disambiguation link notification for November 12
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

[edit]Please stop your disruptive editing, as you did at List of metropolitan areas by population. Your edits have been or will be reverted or removed. Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. You have been told repeatedly, by a number of editors, that the source you're providing isn't acceptable, and can't be used, so stop! Thomas.W talk 17:51, 15 November 2015 (UTC)

[edit]Hello Mohsin17. Thank you for contributing to the wiki page about women in Pakistan. Unfortunately I had to revert this edit you made because the citation you provided was from a blog and blogs are not recognised as reliable sources on Wikipedia. If you know of any reliable sources that support the text, please do cite them. If you are unsure about a source's reliability, ask the folks at Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard. I have not removed the text you added but I have tweaked it a bit to improve flow. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Human10.0 (talk • contribs) 18:19, 15 November 2015 (UTC)

.During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. NeilN talk to me 19:00, 15 November 2015 (UTC)
A lot less reverting and a lot more use of article talk pages will be required from you when this block expires. --NeilN talk to me 19:01, 15 November 2015 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to DHA City, Karachi, but we cannot accept original research. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Please stop making unsourced changes to Wikipedia articles, as you did to the DHA City, Karachi article. Yamaguchi先生 (talk) 18:28, 23 November 2015 (UTC)
You nonsense, stupid. My contribution was not an original search. I have cited the sources. What's wrong with you. You racist! Don't you dare to revert my good faith contributions. You jealous.. be in your limits.Mohsin17 (talk) 19:37, 23 November 2015 (UTC)
- Hello Mohsin17, it appears that you are continuing to blogs and internet chat forums as a source, despite numerous requests not to. Furthermore it appears that you are also inserting original research which is not validated by the referenced links you have provided, and are adding wholly unsourced material as well, as you did with this edit to the DHA City, Karachi article on 12:00, 23 November 2015. Please do not insult myself or others by suggesting that this concern is racially motivated. You have been asked numerous times not to add original research, not to add unsourced content, and not to refer to internet chat forums and message boards as a reference, and yet you continue the problematic behavior. Will you please advise why you refuse to comply with our policies as they pertain to verifiability? Regards, Yamaguchi先生 (talk) 20:52, 23 November 2015 (UTC)

[edit]Your recent editing history at List of urban areas by population shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war.
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. I apologize for my misbehavior but all the reason behind my editing was that I was unable to defend myself as others have been continuously targeting me. I assure you that I will never engage myself in disruptive editing again. I'm sorry Mohsin17 (talk) 08:01, 25 November 2015 (UTC)
Decline reason:
This is your third block in the last two months. Complaining about other editors is generally a cliched example of a bad unblock request. I'll need to see some evidence that you understand what was disruptive - just saying "sorry" isn't necessarily enough to convince us you won't slip back into the same behaviour that got you blocked. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

- There is no time set, as said above. What you have to do is convince us that it's going to be worth unblocking you. Blocks like this are not punishment, like jail sentences. They are to protect the encyclopaedia. Peridon (talk) 17:31, 26 November 2015 (UTC)
- Mohsin, in view of the considerable history of disruptive editing behind this block, I think it unlikely that any administrator will unblock you without more specific indication that you understand what you need to do differently than just " I agree that i'll reform and will not misbehave in future". I am leaving your unblock request open rather than declining it, to give you a chance to explain what you think have been the problems with your editing, and what will be different about your editing in the future. Only if you do that is there any realistic chance that you will be unblocked. The problem with what you have said is simply that experience shows that very often a blocked editor who just says something like "I will reform" without explaining how, and without making it clear that they understand what the problems are, then goes ahead and continues to make the same mistakes as before.
