[edit]Hello, I'm Hey man im josh. I noticed that in this edit to 2023–24 CAF Champions League, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Hey man im josh (talk) 15:45, 30 June 2022 (UTC)
The article 2024 CAF Super Cup has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
A case of WP:TOOSOON here, over two years in the future.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. JTtheOG (talk) 21:31, 30 June 2022 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for August 9
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2022–23 CAF Confederation Cup, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page AS Douanes. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

[edit]Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Sudan national under-23 football team. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Guinea national under-23 football team moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Guinea national under-23 football team, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three, to be safe. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:

[edit]A tag has been placed on Category:Rwandan women's football clubs indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Liz Read! Talk! 18:03, 5 September 2023 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 19:11, 14 October 2023 (UTC)

[edit] Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Nigeria women's national under-20 football team into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. Zimbabwe national under-20 football team moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to Zimbabwe national under-20 football team. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. IntentionallyDense (talk) 20:36, 16 September 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for reading the article, unfortunately, I may have to oppose your action. The Zimbabwe national under-20 football team doesn't need additional sources because it is a low-importance article. It's just a detailed article on the record of a sports team in a major sports tournament. Hence, if you are opposed to this, I invite you to assess all the 206 articles about the teams in the FIFA U-20 World Cup that participate or if you have a problem with the construction of the article, I will be glad to put the records of all the participation of the Zimbabwean team in the tournament. Please stop reverting the redirect of Somalia national under-20 football team. This redirect was established last year by AfD consensus, see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Somalia national under-20 football team. You must discuss on the talk page or seek a Deletion Review before restoring the page. Dclemens1971 (talk) 15:43, 17 September 2024 (UTC)
- the article follows Wikipedia's notability guideline for sports and athletics deleting it is unacceptable if you would like to discuss all the problems that this article has i am all ears and please stop reverting it to the redirect. Mo Amine M (talk) 15:46, 17 September 2024 (UTC)
- There is an AfD that has expressed a community decision. You need to propose what you would like to change first on the talk page or bring the deletion discussion to DRV to be overturned. Dclemens1971 (talk) 15:48, 17 September 2024 (UTC)
- ok I added a discussion on the talk page now what? Mo Amine M (talk) 15:56, 17 September 2024 (UTC)

[edit]You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Somalia national under-20 football team. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Daniel Quinlan (talk) 17:21, 17 September 2024 (UTC)
The article Lesotho Women's League has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Fails WP:GNG, WP:NSPORT - no WP:SIGCOV in independent, reliable sources.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Dclemens1971 (talk) 18:25, 19 September 2024 (UTC)

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article until the discussion has finished.Dclemens1971 (talk) 19:35, 19 September 2024 (UTC)
