Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Mili977, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Jai Jag Janani Maa Durga, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may not be retained.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{help me}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Jai Jag Janani Maa Durga, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Gandheswari moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Gandheswari, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Tripura Sundari, you may be blocked from editing. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Mahadevi, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Bow and Arrows. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Kamakhya

[edit]

Please provide reference for the iconography. Though Kamakhya is worshiped in an-iconographic form, the only iconography that is acceptable is the the chalanta image in the temple. Chaipau (talk) 18:07, 21 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Can you please provide the original iconography? The image your image is based on? If not, you will have to remove it, because that would be WP:OR. Chaipau (talk) 13:11, 22 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The image based on the references in the article. Mili977 (talk) 18:58, 22 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2021 Elections voter message

[edit]
Hello! Voting in the 2021 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 6 December 2021. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2021 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:50, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked indefinitely

[edit]

I have blocked you indefinitely for disruptive editing and violating your topic ban, as it seems that you either do not understand what it means to be topic-banned from India, Afghanistan, and Pakistan, broadly construed, or are deliberately refusing to comply. The first month of this block is an arbitration enforcement action. That means that during that month, special rules apply for appealing the block:

Arbitration enforcement portion of the block
To enforce an arbitration decision, you have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 month (continuing indefinitely after that as a regular admin action).

If you believe this block is unjustified, please read the guide to appealing blocks (specifically this section) before appealing. Place the following on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Please copy my appeal to the [[WP:AE|arbitration enforcement noticeboard]] or [[WP:AN|administrators' noticeboard]]. Your reason here OR place the reason below this template. ~~~~}}. If you intend to appeal on the arbitration enforcement noticeboard, I suggest you use the arbitration enforcement appeals template on your talk page so it can be copied over easily. You may also appeal directly to me (by email), before or instead of appealing on your talk page.

Reminder to administrators: In May 2014, ArbCom adopted the following procedure instructing administrators regarding Arbitration Enforcement blocks: "No administrator may modify a sanction placed by another administrator without: (1) the explicit prior affirmative consent of the enforcing administrator; or (2) prior affirmative agreement for the modification at (a) AE or (b) AN or (c) ARCA (see "Important notes" [in the procedure]). Administrators modifying sanctions out of process may at the discretion of the committee be desysopped."

Starting 14 September, this becomes a regular block, and can be appealed as described at the Guide to appealing blocks. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she|they|xe) 16:23, 14 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked for sockpuppetry

[edit]
Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Mili977. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

Request reason:

I admit that i abused multiple accounts and made disruptive edits in the past. I kindly inform you that I realize the mistakes I have made and I will make sure not to commit such mistakes again. I am willing to create articles with proper sources through my research and I created and edited such articles from this account. I worked very hard to improve Wikipedia pages based on those sources. Again I apologize for my previous mistakes and kindly request you to remove my block. Also, I kindly request to recover the deleted articles created by me with proper sources and i promise to fully abide by the Wikipedia guidelines from now on.

Decline reason:

This doesn't address your topic ban violations. Additionally, you've been evading your block with sockpuppets just last month. You've worked hard to demonstrate you haven't the slightest intention of abiding by our policies. Your only hope now is to go six months with zero edits, then apply under WP:SO. At that point, you'll need to convince us you'll start abiding by your topic ban. Yamla (talk) 11:00, 7 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I admin that i didn't abide my topic ban and abused multiple accounts. I had to do that because I banned topics that I knew and could edit. Because of that block I can't contribute to Wikipedia at all. The reason is because I don't know anything except topics related to Hinduism. But due to topic ban I couldn't make any edits related to that subject. Even though the account is activated, I cannot contribute to Wikipedia at all due to the topic ban. But I do not take this as an excuse. I admit that I made a mistake and didn't abide Wikipedia rules. But from now on I am fully abide with Wikipedia rules. I really only wanted to compile and improve articles on Hinduism through valid sources. I want to help users who study Hinduism on Wikipedia. Many things about Hinduism have not yet been added to Wikipedia. I just wanted to add them and develop Wikipedia properly. I have properly improved many articles before. It has been very helpful to the readers. I promise not to make such mistakes again and I kindly request you to remove my account ban and topic ban and allow me to improve Wikipedia on the topics I know. Please!!

Decline reason:

As noted, there is no pathway forward here without a six month break from editing under any account or IP address, as a show of good faith that you are capable of abiding by policies. 331dot (talk) 09:04, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

No CU evidence of recent block evasion at this time. --Yamla (talk) 10:30, 7 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Note that this block and the topic ban are two separate issues. You'll need to get unblocked and then appeal your topic ban, but an appeal of your topic ban is unlikely to succeed without a history of constructive edits and good behavior to back up any appeal you make. 331dot (talk) 13:33, 7 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
