Singapore National Co-operative Federation
I have created a page for Singapore National Co-operative Federation, and as I am from the organization, I updated the details and information about the company, its affiliates, and what it does. Unfortunately, you have deleted this page containing all the history, profile, and list of sectors concerning this organization.
Please give me an update on this matter as I would like to have it retrieved. — Preceding unsigned comment added by SNCF Singapore (talk • contribs) 02:17, 9 November 2015 (UTC)
Robert Lewy article
This article has several errors which are hard to disprove externally with third party sources but should be corrected. 1. I did never assist in suing breast implant manufacturers as stated in first line . On the contrary, I was a court appointed expert for a class action to which manufacturers were a party.Article should IMHO mention existence of class action and my role. Further down, I did not give expert testimony whatsoever in assisting lawyers to get "vast awards." I only physically examined patients sent to me by the court and issued reports. 2, use of term "alleged" in mid article implies I had some ulterior or legal goal. I only did peer reviewed medical research.. The editors overall have perhaps editorialized on top of the NYT article without sources, adopting it's tone toward the court experts and failing to mention the importance of the class action under Judge Poynter of Atlanta. 3. Most of my cited work is about heart disease and aspirin. Please check Researchgate and mention this and reference it. Otherwise the article is misleading about my scientific work by omission.I wish you would please consider adding some more balance to this article in consideration of these points.
Sincerely Robert Lewy

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hi, i just noticed that the wikipedia page about a music artist "rat boy" was removed. the reason was about references and citations, but the page was still under construction and i was editing stuff everyday and was providing references for most things. the stuff that was removed had references that i was planning on adding but now the whole content which i spent hours making has gone and i cant even undo the edit. so please try and help me and restore the content you deleted. thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.22.51.84 (talk) 20:15, 7 December 2015 (UTC)

So you will know: I removed the PROD that you reposted. PROD is for uncontroversial deletion: if anyone (including the author) objects to a PROD, the article may not be re-PRODed. (See WP:PROD) You may be confusing PROD with speedy deletion, where the author is not supposed to remove the tag. —teb728 t c 04:13, 13 December 2015 (UTC)
Harvey Proctor edits
I understand the reasoning, however the issue is a serious one as Proctor was accused of murder and child sex abuse. It is a very long time since we added any kind of link or edit, mainly because of the issue itself.

Feedback on this revert you made: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Love&oldid=prev&diff=695314902 In this case, the personal blog belongs to a writer and academic. Also on the same blog is the complete text of several books by the author. The definition of love derived and announced on that page is not yet provided anywhere else. Rethink what a blog means; it is not inferior to a book; the author writes both. Books are slow, and in many years, this material may find its way into a book. Blogs for this author, are the thought pad, a level above the pen and paper notepad, a level below the book or thesis, and wikipedia is / should be "faster" than Britannica.
I appreciate your work. Lifelib (talk) 06:48, 16 December 2015 (UTC)

- Hi. I'm not a senior editor of any kind, but have been editing here for a while so have become familiar with policies and formatting etc. So I'm not exactly sure what you are asking, and there is no reason you cannot make changes yourself. I will say that while I have done some cleaning up of that article, I think it still has a long way to go. My opinion is that the maintenance tags should stay there because the issues they point out have not been dealt with. So please don't just remove them, but rather read the links, try to understand what the problems are, and have a go at improving the article in those ways! Thanks, Melcous (talk) 03:39, 29 December 2015 (UTC)

pictures
Hi Mel, I'm not making any content edits. It appears that the creators & editors of the page who added photographs ran into copyright issues. A fan that added a photograph emailed me saying that it was removed even though i'd told them it was fine to upload it. So I uploaded the images myself, as I am the copyright holder. I hope thats ok. If it's ok I'll upload the album covers and I'll just let the fan know so that they can link the images themselves; I don't want to piss anyone at wiki off.
Best,
SS SamanthaScarlette (talk) 06:31, 31 December 2015 (UTC)
Thanks for the quick reply. I'm aware of copyright laws. The photograph was taken by my personal assistant for me while she was on the job as per her working agreement I own the copyright on photos she's taken for me. I also own the copyright on the photoshoot pictures and the album covers. The actual album art was designed by me & the photographer gave me 100% ownership of the original photographs. So I don't see where the copyright issue lies.

User:Twolamps
Hi, Melcous. I noticed you put a speedy deletion tag on Insure the Uninsured Project. This is an article created by User:Twolamps. User:Twolamps is part of a group of people that I recently met at a meeting about public policy issues. I am giving a brief lesson on how to edit at Wiki to different members of that group. Each individual in that group has their own public policy interests, so there will likely be little overlap in their article topics. I don't have much time to spend at Wiki, especially on talk pages. Hello Melcous,
The autobiography was intended to circumvent a page that someone already had attempted to create for me without my knowledge, but was riddled with false narrative and information and was also subsequent deleted, at least according to this link - http://www.thefullwiki.org/Brandon_Tyler_Williams
As I am referred to in various Wikipedia articles about the projects I have been a part of, the intent was to provide an accurate, objective page to mitigate false information being added about me on this platform while also filling in the blanks to the articles that have cited me. I understand your position, do what you must.

reference
Good morning Melcous, My message is about the biography of Hervé Roullet: In the latest revision, you say, "this is still not a reference." Yet I put the IAE graduate certificate in the sandbox. If that is not enough, what information must be given to be a valid reference? Thanks for your help. Hervé — Preceding unsigned comment added by Roullet (talk • contribs) 21:31, 4 February 2016 (UTC)

Diplomas
Concern Hervé Roullet
Hello Melcous and thank you for your explanations. Now, my question is the following one: Can wikipedia consider that a certificate of diploma (PDF for ex.) or an extract of the directory of graduates is a correct reference to reliable source? I indeed thought that these sources were valid; that is why, I put them (PDF) in the sandbox. But, I dont know if the sandbox was the good place... Thank you for your help. Jim Jupp page
Hi,
I modified the page for Jim Jupp on 4th feb, taking out the redirect to "belbury poly" and adding in referenced biographical data. I understand this was taken down because there was another page for "Jim Jupp". I believe this was a mistake caused by the fact that his band's page "Belbury Poly" was incorrectly marked as a persondata page (which I have now edited).
Could you advise me further ?
thanks, Bob — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bobbyspiral (talk • contribs) 13:15, 5 February 2016 (UTC)
