Editing the article about yourself

[edit]

Hello. You have added a number of times details about qualifications for Roullet, and remove "citation needed" tags, but you have still not provided a source. Simply saying the name of the degree is not what is required - information included in wikipedia must be verifiable, which means it should be reported by a reliable secondary source. You should also note, as per the message above, that you appear to have a WP:conflict of interest and rather than continuing to edit this article, it would be preferable if you would make any suggestions on the talk page. Please take the time to read the wikipedia guidelines linked to here and above so that you understand what is expected from editors. Thank you, Melcous (talk)

Hello Roullet and thank you for your message. Information in wikipedia must be sourced to reliable secondary sources, so for example a newspaper article or book, or a reputable website, that says that the person holds such a degree is what is required, rather than just the name of the degree itself. If there are no such sources, it may be that either the person, or that particular piece of information about them, is not notable enough to be included in wikipedia. Please read the guidelines I have linked to (in blue) for more information. Thank you, Melcous (talk) 22:50, 4 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Hi again. I'm not an expert on this, but I don't think the PDF of the certificate itself is the best, as it is the primary source not a secondary one. The directory of graduates could work. I'm not sure what you mean about posting it in the sandbox, but you need to include the details and if possible a link to it. If you post those details on the article's talk page (which I have just created), (which is the preferred method for as an editor with a conflict of interest), then I or another editor can add it into the article. Also, when you leave a message on a talk page (the article or mine as you did earlier), please "sign" it by inserting four tildes (~) at the end. Thanks, Melcous (talk) 23:22, 5 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Editing about yourself

[edit]

Hello again, please do not directly edit the article about yourself. As previously advised, the best thing you can do is propose changes on the talk page, most easily using the Template:Request edit. Works that have not yet been published should not be added per WP:CRYSTAL, and please note that this is an encyclopaedia not a news website, so it is preferable for events or works to be reported on in independent secondary sources before they are included. Melcous (talk) 11:30, 26 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello ! I would like to insert four recent books in literary works :

Some proposed changes

[edit]

Information to be added or removed:

  • Chrétiens et musulmans. Marie, porte de l'unité, préface de l'abbé Fabrice Loiseau, Avignon, France, Éditions Docteur angélique, 2018. The book identifies some fundamental differences between Christianity and Islam, and opens new perspectives, starting from the privileges of the mother of Jesus.
  • Sainte Mâtie, Paris, AVM Diffusion, janvier 2019. This book is the first complete biography of the patron saint of the city of Troyes. The author develops the historical, artistic and hagiographic aspects.
  • Les martyrs d'Otrante, Paris, AVM Diffusion, janvier 2019. This book is the first complete French-language report of the events concerning the Ottoman invasion of Otranto in 1480, then at the resumption of the city in 1481. It also relates the process that led to the canonization of the 813 martyrs of Otranto by Francis (Pope) on May 12, 2013.
  • Joséphine Bakhita. De l'esclavage à la sainteté, Paris, Le Livre Ouvert, Coll. « Paroles de vie », 2019. A short biography of Josephine Bakhita, with a choice of his words.
