Question from Geordie.Obrien (00:53, 17 February 2023)

Is there much point in editing articles with low view count should I focus more on higher ones. --Geordie.Obrien (talk) 00:53, 17 February 2023 (UTC)

Hi Geordie.Obrien. Sometimes the articles with low view counts are the ones most in need of improvement, but what you work on is completely up to you. Most people works on articles that interest them, but others just pick a random article each day and try to make it better in some way. As long as your edits are in accordance with relevant Wikipedia policies and guidelines, you should be fine. Articles with high view counts do seem also seem to attract more users trying to improve them. That can be a good thing as long as everyone's on the same page, but it can sometimes create friction when they're not. So, in those cases it can sometimes be better to be WP:CAUTIOUS when trying to improve them. -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:03, 17 February 2023 (UTC)

You're welcome. You might also want to take a look at WP:CONTRIBUTE for reference. -- Marchjuly (talk) 02:00, 17 February 2023 (UTC)
