Why are you saying these things?

  • not sure why but another editor seems to disagree with your editsum and edit and changed "Support" to "Decision". First, I didn't change anything. Second, I made it clear to you why I questioned changing subproject proposal section heading "Support" to "Decision" (that it was seemingly turning a membership signup to some kind of unclear !voting referendum). So why are you misrepresenting me as unclear, when I was very clear?
That is really my bad. I completely misread the diff. The comments you were making seemed to be directed more towards MaxBrowne than me, so I was confused as to why you were not directing them to MB instead. I'm very sorry for this and have corrected my error on MB's talk page in a way that I hope is sufficient. Please accept my sincerest apologies for any problems this may have caused the two of you. - Marchjuly (talk) 14:33, 30 April 2014 (UTC)
  • some feel that stuff written years ago by an author as part of compilation on various board games and which only touches on shogi is more reliable. Clearly you're referring to me. (Correct me if I'm wrong.) Why would you do that, when you know it is untrue? (You know that I originally quoted Pritchard from ECV and accepted it as correct. But later I discovered that Pritchard said the exact opposite in a subsequent book [I didn't mention that on the Talk:Shogi], and that is why I wrote the British Shogi Federation president for an answer. And I posted at least some summary of answer on Talk:Shogi already, which should be clear to any good-faith read that I've adjusted my view based on securing subsequent facts. So why would you typify me and accuse/accredit/insult me with a prior misunderstanding in one reliable source, when I made it clear that is not my position subsequent. You wrote your above claim as though I'm stuck on my original surmise, which is totally untrue, and you should already know that by subsequent posts of mine, and even relevant edit corrections to the Shogi article. So why are you intentionally mischaracterizing me in light of all that?? (Are you attempting to dig me or smear me?? Say what??) You come off as trying to bend over backwards being polite to everybody, but don't you see and recognize how your accredation/accusation/insult here is totaly unwarranted?? (I know you have been paying attention to Talk:Shogi, so please explain what explains your aggressive and unaccountable accredation/accusation/insult.) I have no idea how you expect someone like me, an editor interested to improve Shogi article, to collegially edit in cooperation with you, when you cast such aspersions. Ok let's here your overly polite reply where you "didn't mean to offend". (That has been your standard reply in such situations.) Ihardlythinkso (talk) 13:33, 30 April 2014 (UTC)
The comments I made in that particular post were not intentionally made in reference to you. They were just meant as general comments about some things I have observed. Whether you choose to believe that is up to you. Moreover, I wasn't accusing you of anything and certainly wasn't trying to insult you, dig you, or smear you. Actually, most of the stuff I was referring to in that particular post was in reference to some things I've seen posted on some off-wiki shogi forums such as here and here. I completely own the mistake I made above. That was truly mine and I am very sorry for it, but the other stuff I posted was intended to be nothing more that my own personal observations and not anything directed towards you. If it came off that way, then I am truly sorry. If my explanations seem insincere and overly polite to you then that is unfortunate, but there's not much I can do about that. I'm sorry that you feel that way, but I am really not engaged in some kind of campaign to discredit you or your work on Wikipedia. - Marchjuly (talk) 14:33, 30 April 2014 (UTC)
