Proposed deletion of Bannerbrook Park
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Bannerbrook Park, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? JohnCD (talk) 21:37, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
Hi. As you are a new user, this note is to explain in more detail why I have propose your article for deletion. In order to make Wikipedia a usable encyclopedia rather than just an indiscriminate collection of information there has to be some way of deciding what articles are of enough general interest to be included. That is summed up in the word notability, which is explained in the main guideline Notability and more detailed ones such as Notability (people). For places, a general guide can be found at Notability (places and transportation). Generally, any town or village is in, suburbs or districts only if they have some fame or individuality of their own (e.g. Montmartre, Hampstead, the Gorbals), but any smaller units are not likely to rate more than a mention in the article about the town or city. Don't be discouraged: read through the guidelines I've mentioned, and look at Your First Article for more advice. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 21:48, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
- To help rescue it from deletion, you need to indicate how big it is and provide some independent refs. -- RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 02:32, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
No fines
[edit]I hope you realise that all your edits re no fines are available via the history. You have said a few things that are not covered in Wimpey no-fines house so do feel free to copy and paste from one to the other. If you can find specific addresses for no fines houses in New Addington, I will go and photograph them for the article. -- RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 02:32, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
Keep going!
[edit]Please do not be discouraged by having so many of your articles redirected. Take comfort from the facts that nothing of yours has been deleted and that Henley Green, Little Heath, Coventry and Whitefriars Housing Group all seem to be set to survive. As I said above, all your text is available via the histories and can be used to improve other articles. But plase start to provide edit summaries. -- RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 17:07, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
Thank you, how can I contact you? I can send you some phots of Wimpey no fines which may be useful, thanks. Darren, 'Manfromcov'
Coventry
[edit]We have Wikipedia:WikiProject Coventry which is a project to improve and organise pages about Coventry. I have got some photos of Bannerbrook Park, but it is part of Tile Hill? Similarly can Little Heath be included in a suburb page, like Fenside is in the Styvechale page. I know Coventry quite well but it is often difficult to know just where the boundaries of the districts are. Is Mount Nod part of Eastern Green? Do you know the name of the brook that goes through Eastern Green? Have you got any photoes? Snowman (talk) 17:37, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
Image without license
[edit]Unspecified source for Image:ProLogis park.JPG
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:ProLogis park.JPG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 03:24, 28 July 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. License tagging for File:Holbooks Railway Line.JPG
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Holbooks Railway Line.JPG. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 18:05, 24 May 2009 (UTC)

The article Little Heath, Coventry has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Not a notable locality
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. StAnselm (talk) 05:39, 10 March 2011 (UTC)
