Bhati
I know that you had put a GOCEinuse template at Bhati but it was pointless, mainly because the huge recent additions were mostly unsourced and the few citations that were added are known not to be reliable. For that reason, I just reverted the entire thing. - Sitush (talk) 17:02, 29 August 2014 (UTC)
-- It's ok Sir, Actually , for the same reason I realized that a lot of work is required to be done. Thanx.--Mahensingha 17:14, 29 August 2014 (UTC)
- No problem. Sometimes it pays to check the recent history before jumping into an article - it is quite common for people contributing to caste articles to dump huge amounts of poor content very quickly and often it is just a reinstatement of stuff that had already been deleted or is a copy/paste from some caste-affiliated website. - Sitush (talk) 17:34, 29 August 2014 (UTC)
Sir,thanks for your excellent edits so far... John811jd (talk) 09:25, 8 November 2014 (UTC)

It does not matter who you are by caste/Place because wiki articles are public pages and definitely not the user's personal pages. Please explore more resources and enrich the article with most reliable information citing references as per WP:RS. Please do write at proper places on user's talk pages and maintain aestheticism of pages. Good Luck for future editing. Thanks and regards.--Mahi 18:28, 7 January 2015 (UTC)

WikiCup 2015 March newsletter
That's it, the first round is done, sign-ups are closed and we're into round 2. 64 competitors made it into this round, and are now broken into eight groups of eight. The top two of each group will go through to round 3, and then the top scoring 16 "wildcards" across all groups. Round 1 saw some interesting work on some very important articles, with the round leader Freikorp (submissions) owing most of his 622 points scored to a Featured Article on the 2001 film Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within which qualified for a times-two multiplier. This is a higher score than in previous years, as Godot13 (submissions) had 500 points in 2014 at the end of round 1, and our very own judge, Sturmvogel_66 (submissions) led round 1 with 601 points in 2013.
In addition to Freikorp's work, some other important articles and pictures were improved during round one, here's a snapshot of a few of them:
- Cwmhiraeth (submissions) took Bumblebee, a level-4 vital article, to Good Article;
- AHeneen (submissions) worked-up the Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 article, also to Good Article status;
- Rodw (submissions) developed an extremely timely article to Good Article, taking Magna Carta there some 800 years after it was first sealed;
- And last but not least, Godot13 (submissions) (FP bonus points) worked up a number of Featured Pictures during round 1, including the 1948 one Deutsche Mark (pictured right), receiving the maximum bonus due to the number of Wikis that the related article appears in.
You may also wish to know that The Core Contest is running through the month of March. Head there for further details - they even have actual prizes!
If you are concerned that your nomination—whether it is at good article candidates, a featured process, or anywhere else—will not receive the necessary reviews, please list it on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews. Questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup, and the judges are reachable on their talk pages or by email. Good luck! Your AFD Decline at User:Samira Koppikar
I have no opinion on whether the article should pass but using a decline comment of
"This submission seems to be a test edit and not an article worthy of an encyclopedia. Please use the sandbox for any tests in the future. Thank you."
Is rude and inappropriate for an article attempt such as what is there. There is no indication of what is wrong or how to improve the article. I will assume you clicked a wrong button or something. Please strike the comment and re-review the article and provide useful input or resubmit the draft for another reviewer. Thank you for your attention to this matter. JBH (talk) 18:43, 3 March 2015 (UTC)
- Dear, I am really sorry, if it hurt you. My intention is never so. The line you mentioned objectionable is just a wikipedia standard comment which I selected. Don't mean it deep. If I am able to do so and if you think so, I am ready to help you in forming a qualifying article. Please don't feel so bad and pass a negative comment.-- Mahensingha (Talk) "Thanx n Regards" 18:51, 3 March 2015 (UTC)
- I further add that it was not a simple click of buttons, if fact the article contains duplicacy of contents and is fully unformatted. In this case the given standard wikipedia comment only becomes due, but if you agree, I myself will work upon the article, if there are sources to support the subject, but please dont blame me and dont feel bad. Thanks-- Mahensingha (Talk) "Thanx n Regards" 19:00, 3 March 2015 (UTC)
- I am not the creator. I only have the page on my watch list because it I CSDed it in its original form. You are obviously talking about a different article. - Thank you for taking another look. It was just if I can not figure out your objection there is no way a new user can. I have seen much worse articles here and content aside it looks just like any other article on a minor signer. By no stretch of the imagination is it a "test edit" it is a reasonable attempt to write an article. - Dear, I did not explained in detail just for the reason that I have checked the Talk page of the article and if I am not wrong, It was you only who suggested the ways and means to the creator which are not followed. Clearly, telling none of the reviewer can pass the article in this form. If so then you should have also not commented on the tech problems. But, lastly and finally, I said we will look for the possibilities and if there are reliable sources supporting the notability of the subject then I dont think that there may be any problem. And I ask for an helping hand from JBH thinking that my friend will help me. Is that O.K. -- Mahensingha (Talk) "Thanx n Regards" 19:31, 3 March 2015 (UTC)
- I have removed the doubling of text, redlink categories, promotional web links. I have turned two External links into references which support notability (Song charted on national chart). If I were NPPing this I would tag it with 'Clean up' and 'More sources BLP' I do not know what AFC criteria are though. Cheers. JBH (talk) 19:59, 3 March 2015 (UTC)
- Oh... and with 'Connected contributor' definitly connected contributor. Cheers. JBH (talk) 20:07, 3 March 2015 (UTC)

Hi there, would like to check how I can further support this article with reliable sources? Do you mean more press articles? Is there any other way apart from press mentions?
Ripcurlkim (talk) 03:25, 4 March 2015 (UTC)
- Please read and follow Reliable sources, Help:Referencing for beginners and Citing sources. Also note the article shall be informative only, by no means it should be for promotion of person or organisation. Bare minimum information from reliable sources be added before submission. Additions are possible even after that, when ever you get more such sources of information. Good Luck.-- Mahensingha (Talk) "Thanx n Regards" 15:14, 4 March 2015 (UTC)

- Add only information from Relaible sources, cite all the contents. Frequent portrayal of a person significantly in leading and known news sorces, journals or Books adds to prove notability of the subject. As far as possible go for Independent sources. मस्ती हर दिल पर छाई है

20:21:11, 22 March 2015 review of submission by Esercar
Hello Mahensingha,
It looks like you declined the latest edited version of my article. In the information box it says "This appears to be a duplicate of another submission which is also waiting to be reviewed. To save time we will consider the other submission and not this one". But I cannot seem to find in my Sandbox namely "the other submission" (correctly edited one) as the article waiting to be reviewed. Is this process still continuing or am I supposed to do anything else. I am sorry, I am not experienced in this process, I will appreciate if you can help. Thank you.
Esercar (talk) 20:21, 22 March 2015 (UTC)
Its OK, if there is no duplicate article presently but seeing the draft I suggest that It needs to be supported with third party independent sources. Specially recommended to make the article notable, please try to find few more resources covering "Somehowjazz". Apart from professional and promotional websites, give due priority to news, journals, books proving the article concept to be notable. Thanks. Wish you happy editing.-- Mahensingha (Talk) "Thanx n Regards" 10:25, 23 March 2015 (UTC)

36 royal races
Best not to categorise communities with Category:36 royal races because there is no agreement on who the 36 may be. It just causes a shed-load of problems. - Sitush (talk) 19:58, 4 April 2015 (UTC)
- All right, Thanks for the guidance. Stopping. -- Mahensingha (Talk) "Thanx n Regards" 20:02, 4 April 2015 (UTC)
- No problem, and thanks. You might want to revert what you've done so far. I'm also not sure why you have been adding Category:Tanwar, which doesn't even exist. Were you intending to create it? - Sitush (talk) 20:07, 4 April 2015 (UTC)
- Actually, I was going through the category list and I found that they are not 36 then I opened the main articles consisting of various tribes/ castes listed there and thought of including them. It is not the categories but the articles I added as 36 royal races is the group of castes. there is an article Tanwar, a Rajput caste. What do you suggest shall I revert all the changes or leave it like this because I proceeded exactly according to the contents of the article 36 royal races .-- Mahensingha (Talk) "Thanx n Regards" 20:23, 4 April 2015 (UTC)
- That article is itself disputed and the information it shows is not consistent. In an ideal world, I'd have the category deleted or at least renamed - Category:Purported member clans of the 36 royal races or something like that. I'd need to do a fair amount of digging around before proposing that, though. For now, I think it would be best to revert your additions because I'm pretty sure they were removed originally because of the amount of hassle they were causing on those specific articles. - Sitush (talk) 20:53, 4 April 2015 (UTC)
- All right, reverting. Actually I was not aware of the past history. -- Mahensingha (Talk) "Thanx n Regards" 11:57, 5 April 2015 (UTC)

kushwaha and kushwah history
kushwaha and kushwah history is one and same. both are descendents of suryavanshi clan. both origin is same. its just that economically stronger discriminated from the weaker paesants section and started themselves as kushvah. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 1.39.33.163 (talk) 11:28, 7 April 2015 (UTC)
- Please support your theory with sources. For me I know the fact that many Kachhis after becoming prosperous fabricated a golden age story to move upward in social hierarchy from Shudra to a Kshatriya and finally failed to do so. This phenomenon is popularly termed as "Sanskritization" in anthropology. Indian societies are recognised with marriage relations. There is no and was no relation in the two communities. Right from British colonial period to till date sources proves it. -- Mahensingha (Talk) "Thanx n Regards" 13:14, 7 April 2015 (UTC)
A new reference tool
Hello Books & Bytes subscribers. There is a new Visual Editor reference feature in development called Citoid. It is designed to "auto-fill" references using a URL or DOI. We would really appreciate you testing whether TWL partners' references work in Citoid. Sharing your results will help the developers fix bugs and improve the system. If you have a few minutes, please visit the testing page for simple instructions on how to try this new tool. Regards, MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:47, 10 April 2015 (UTC)

Hello, I'm ReferenceBot. I have automatically detected that an edit performed by you may have introduced errors in referencing. It is as follows:
- On the Pal (surname) page, your edit caused an ISBN error (help). (Fix | Ask for help)
Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, ReferenceBot (talk) 00:35, 26 April 2015 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for April 26
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Pal (surname), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Potter. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

WikiCup 2015 May newsletter
The second round one has all wrapped up, and round three has now begun! Congratulations to the 34 contestants who have made it through, but well done and thank you to all contestants who took part in our second round. Leading the way overall was Cas Liber (submissions) in Group B with a total of 777 points for a variety of contributions including Good Articles on Corona Borealis and Microscopium - both of which received the maximum bonus.
Special credit must be given to a number of high importance articles improved during the second round.
- Coemgenus (submissions) was one of several users who worked on improving Ulysses S. Grant. Remember, you do not need to work on an article on your own - as long as each person has completed significant work on the article during 2015, multiple competitors can claim the same article.
- Cwmhiraeth (submissions) took Dragonfly to Good Article for a 3x bonus - and if that wasn't enough, they also took Damselfly there as well for a 2x bonus.
- LeftAire (submissions) worked up Alexander Hamilton to Good Article for the maximum bonus. Hamilton was one of the founding fathers of the United States and is a level 4 vital article.
The points varied across groups, with the lowest score required to gain automatic qualification was 68 in Group A - meanwhile the second place score in Group H was 404, which would have been high enough to win all but one of the other Groups! As well as the top two of each group automatically going through to the third round, a minimum score of 55 was required for a wildcard competitor to go through. We had a three-way tie at 55 points and all three have qualified for the next round, in the spirit of fairness. The third round ends on June 28, with the top two in each group progressing automatically while the remaining 16 highest scorers across all four groups go through as wildcards. Good luck to all competitors for the third round! Figureskatingfan (talk · contribs · email), Miyagawa (talk · contribs · email) and Sturmvogel 66 (talk · contribs · email) 17:04, 4 May 2015 (UTC)

May 2015
Hello Mahensingha, and welcome to Wikipedia. Your addition to Veeran Azhagu Muthu Kone has had to be removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and a cited source. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Nick Number (talk) 14:34, 6 May 2015 (UTC)
- The contents directly drawn from news articles were given under Quote Tags. Originally the article was submitted by someone else, I edited and sourced it and the quotation tag added where necessary. Anyway, the article has now been deleted. Still thanks for your advice.-- Mahensingha (Talk) "Thanx n Regards" 15:22, 9 May 2015 (UTC)
Regarding your signature
As a non-native/lower-level user of English, I wish to inform you that "thanx", as well as using only one letter like 'n' for a word, is regarded as stupid or something a child would do. The purpose of this message is to inform you of this in case you did not know - perhaps Indian users do things like this and it's seen as normal, okay, or creative. In English, people get banned from message boards for refusing to actually use English (here using the phrase "use English" or "speak English" to refer to idiots who are refusing to type properly on purpose because they are idiots). There is no rule on Wikipedia that I am aware of which says you cannot use something like this in your signature. However, due to the nature of Wikipedia, it is likely that no user at all would respect you if you were to use similar words in a sentence on a message board or in a blog or new article comment that they are reading. Again the purpose of this page is to inform you in case you literally did not know. Have a good day. ~Rayvn 22:00, 12 May 2015 (UTC)
- I suggest you ignore the above - it is not only offensive, but just plain wrong, in that nobody with any sense is going to object to your signature. And written by a contributor ho's own signature fails to comply with the Wikipedia:Signatures guideline, in that it contains no link to either a user page, user talk page, or contributions page. You are of course free to form your own opinions on idiocy... AndyTheGrump (talk) 05:50, 13 May 2015 (UTC)
- Thank a lot, AndyTheGrump for your kind suggestion. I also thank User:RayvnEQ for the suggestion. I appreciate your creativity you used in fabricating your signature, but I do not appreciate the way you suggested me using the words like non-native user of English, Indian user, idiots etc. You could have suggested me better without these words. One shall follow the Policies and rules before suggesting others. However, I would certainly change my signature just because I don't want any one to feel bad due to it.-- Mahensingha (Talk) "Thanx n Regards" 07:37, 13 May 2015 (UTC)
- How is it now.--MahenSingha (Talk) 08:02, 13 May 2015 (UTC)
- It is fine (the link to your user page works), though there was nothing wrong with your earlier one. AndyTheGrump (talk) 15:23, 13 May 2015 (UTC)
- I am really thankful to you Andy for your advice and support.--MahenSingha (Talk) 17:09, 13 May 2015 (UTC)
