Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Indian general election, 2014, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Azam Khan (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Narendra Modi ' lead

I don't think there is criticism, and the reference is being misused, read Talk:Narendra_Modi#Jaffrelot_Christof.27s_report, and [1] D4iNa4 (talk) 14:12, 12 April 2014 (UTC)

I had brought it to BLP NB again, some days ago Wikipedia:Biographies_of_living_persons/Noticeboard#Narendra_Modi_again. D4iNa4 (talk) 14:13, 12 April 2014 (UTC)

Turning section "Timeline of events" of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 into prose?

Hello, Lihaas! I'm here because I've noticed you've added the template "Prose" to the section "Timeline of events" of the article Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 (in this edit), which recommends that the table presented there be turned into prose, since it would be better presented like that. However, you did not provide a reason for the change, nor did you seem to have tried to discuss it first in the article's talk page. So I've begun the discussion there. Personally I don't think it should really be turned into prose and, to explain why, I will quote from the message I've posted on the talk page: "I think that table is very good, and very useful. Personally, I can tell you I've come to this article nearly every day to check that list and see "what's new". It's very easy to locate anything you want, you can easily accompany the progress of the investigation and the search, and the information is very well summed up, so that you don't have to read much to get to what you want. In prose, it could be harder to locate what you want, and it harder to follow the progress. In many cases, a table, a graph or another kind of scheme is better than a long text describing everything that could be more easily displayed and understood by means of a scheme. That is why I think the table should be kept. I'd really miss it if it were gone." That's why. But I would be comfortable if you accepted the idea of writing a text in addition to the table, not in replacement of it.

Please go to the article's talk page and present your arguments on the section I've started, so we can debate the change. I urge you as well to remove the template you have added whilst this matter isn't settled, since it may happen that, if it is kept during the discussion, by the time we reach a consensus (say, for the sake of the argument, to maintain the table), someone may have already begun working on turning the table into prose (and their work would thus have been in vain). I just haven't removed the template yet only to make sure you actually agree it should be removed for now. So please talk with us on the talk page and remove the template for now, if you don't mind. Thank you! -- Sim(ã)o(n) * Talk to me! See my efforts! 23:25, 13 April 2014 (UTC)

Reactions

I don't really understand why this should be a third level heading. The reactions are to the election in general, not necessarily just the results (although they will be the main part of it).

Also, was it you that fact tagged Benflis being an independent? If so, why not just check a source like Election Guide? Facts like these are so obvious or readily accessible that they don't need referencing. Number 57 15:47, 19 April 2014 (UTC)

Block re Syrian Army

I have blocked you for three weeks following your recent edits to Syrian Army. The paragraph you removed for being 'unsourced' had an in-line citation in the very middle of it, and is backed by other reliable sources on the conflict, thus being notable. Feel free to appeal on this page. Buckshot06 (talk) 07:06, 28 April 2014 (UTC)

Request reason:

User:Buckshot06, I made one edit, not even edit warred. You can simply revert me. :There was also no discussion here on the block, period. AGF means you are entitled to make a BOLD edit. Accept reason:

I totally agree. Buckshot06 may have a case for the criticism of your edit that he/she makes above, but I cannot see any way to justify a block for that one edit, rather than politely explaining to you why he/she disagrees with you, and being willing to discuss the issues. Bizarre/incorrect change and other queries

A few questions:

  • In this edit you changed the seat change for VMRO from +5 to +4. Given that they won 56 seats last time and 61 seats this time, I'm not sure how you come up with 4?
  • Why are you converting formatted references to bare URLs? Isn't this verging on vandalism given the problem with bare URLs?
  • Why do you insist on changing the heading level for reactions from second level to third level? You still didn't respond to my question above.
  • And finally, what is wrong with having a conduct section? We need some kind of standard headings in articles, and as I posted on your talk page a couple months ago, "Conduct" appears to be by far the best option. Again, you didn't respond. "Monitoring and external influence" is a rubbish heading in comparison. Why not have something succinct and widely used?

Swearing-in ceremony for ITN

While a new user has created a new article at Narendra Modi's swearing in ceremony, it might be a good candidate for ITN. But it also requires a major re-write. I have thrown out a lot of chunk from it. Can you join in to help? §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {T/C} 06:54, 26 May 2014 (UTC)

List of current Indian chief ministers

Hi, you changed/removed two CM's name from this list citing the lack of sources. The sources were already present in those cases, so I have undone ur 2 edits. In future be careful while removing content. --Vigyanitalkਯੋਗਦਾਨ 02:57, 26 May 2014 (UTC)

Also, please refer to the talk page before tacking on ugly banners to a featured list. I've already replied to all your concerns several times—it is simply impossible to include alliances in any meaningful way in the article. Also note that the previous time you had this issue, the banner was raised there for over a week as I waited for your reply to my comment.
As for the Andhra and Telangana CMs, they are hidden comments, invisible on the article page. They are there so that the article can be properly updated when the oaths are taken.—indopug (talk) 04:44, 27 May 2014 (UTC)

It is completely unsourced, and infact likely wrong to clame that the jewish attack assailant is a lone wolf. and you are using wikilinks wrongly. for example it also isn't used for . Toulouse_and_Montauban_shootings. check the talk page of the article Jewish Museum of Belgium shooting. and it's reference[2] where belgian officials claim he is not a lone wolf. seriously. unsourced, untrue, premature, incorrect use of links. and in the commit message where you revert my fix you completely argue next to the point Pinfix (talk) 05:19, 3 June 2014 (UTC)

Sleeping Dogs (video game)

Hey man! Would you mind doing a cleanup for "Sleeping Dogs (video game)"? I just finished polishing some of it (it's still looks clumsy) and would really appreciate any cleaning/organization you could do, specially on the front section, develoment and dlc tabs. Hi Lihaas!

The competition is all about capturing the cultural monuments and heritage sites of Pakistan and uploading these images on Commons to create an online repository which will be freely available to all.

OR tag at Mount Ararat

This is a tag that should be accompanied by comment at the talk page so that editors have some sort of clue as to the specifics of the problem. Could you please do that? Thanks. Dougweller (talk) 11:06, 9 June 2014 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Lebanese presidential election, 2014, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Antoine Zahra (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Il-76 shootdown

Re this edit, I consider it very poor form to deliberately introduce tags to an article, particularly when it is evident that you are so obviously against its existence. Also, you've been around more than long enough to know how to correctly reference items. Further disruption such as this will lead to administrative action. Mjroots (talk) 15:49, 14 June 2014 (UTC)
