Hi, and thanks for your work on the English Wikipedia.

I noticed an article you worked on. Just a short note to point out that we don’t normally link:

dates
years
commonly known geographical terms (including well-known country-names), and
common terms you’d look up in a dictionary (unless significantly technical).

This applies to infoboxes, too.

Becoming an administrator

I have deleted your nomination for administrator as patently frivolous. You don't become an administrator by asking; you need to be an experienced user of Wikipedia, with at least a few months of active participation, and knowledge of Wikipedia procedures. What experience with Wikipedia do you have? Repeated creation of a single article under various titles, which then gets deleted, lather, rinse, repeat. (I have now protected all titles under which it was created that I could find.) For a while I had been trying to explain to you what you were doing wrong. But what did you do when I deleted your nomination for an administrator as frivolous, explaining what it takes to become one? What did you do when I warned you not to create articles about Azhar Sabri, and explained why the article could not be accepted on Wikipedia in this form? (Aside: using a [malformed] Wikipedia mirror as a reference in a Wikipedia article? You must be kidding.) Answer: you completely ignored everything I said, and proceeded to do the very same things I warned you not to do. (Not to mention that I had been overlooking your use of sockpuppets.)
