Thanks
Thanks for the user box (Hard-boilded detective fiction)! It's on my user page as we speak. I'm having a little trouble getting it situated where I want it, but it's there. Will it be automatically added to the list of all the user boxes? -- Pete Best Beatles (talk) 04:58, 20 August 2022 (UTC)
- The userbox won't be automatically added to any of the userbox galleries, but it will be on my userboxes user page. Additionally, if you are having trouble formatting userboxes on your user page, you can go to Wikipedia:Userboxes#Grouping userboxes for information on how to group them. -- KomradeKalashnikov (talk) 19:44, 20 August 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks for the info about grouping, I'll go there. This should be added to the userbox galleries. Just on principle, for you, but also because I'd like to mention its existence to the folks at the appropriate Wikiproject and direct them there (there was a sub-group for detective fiction, but I think it might be defunct now). -- Pete Best Beatles (talk) 23:36, 20 August 2022 (UTC)
- Jazz userbox is awesome, it looks great on my User page. I sent an FYI about the existence of the new hard-boiled detective fiction userbox to the members of the Crime novels task force, and I got a couple of friendly replies. -- Pete Best Beatles (talk) 00:22, 26 August 2022 (UTC)

A barnstar for you!
The Graphic Designer's Barnstar | |
For creating a userbox that I asked for, I award KomradeKalashnikov the Graphic Designer's Barnstar. Congratulations. I owe you one. Foxx247 (talk) 20:42, 15 March 2023 (UTC) |
New Request
If you can, could you please create a userbox that reads: This user believes that Dimensions in Time is part of Doctor Who canon. I would be extremely grateful to you. Foxx247 (talk) 22:24, 15 March 2023 (UTC) Also if it's not too much to ask, could you also please create a userbox that reads: This user believes in the multiverse.
- @Foxx247: Done Also, thanks for the barnstar!

New Requests
I have three userbox requests.
1.) A userbox that reads: This user's favourite number is *insert number*.
2.) A userbox that reads: This user would choose the red pill.
3.) A userbox that reads: This user would choose the blue pill.
Foxx247 (talk) 12:01, 17 March 2023 (UTC)
- @Foxx247: I have created the red/blue pill userboxes. The favorite number one already exists. If the number you have in mind is pi, e, 0, 1, or 53 (for some reason), there are also pre-made userboxes for those specific numbers at Wikipedia:Userboxes/Life.

- It's fine. I would have removed them myself, but I wasn't sure what the policy/guideline was. -- KomradeKalashnikov (talk) 16:57, 18 May 2023 (UTC)
Hello, KomradeKalashnikov,
This userbox you made is only used by one editor and they are blocked and are unlikely to be unblocked. I can't foresee any other editor believing this politician should be President so I was wondering if you would consider tagging it for speedy deletion (U1 or G7). You have created a lot of interesting userboxes in your time on the project but I don't see this being ever utilized by another editor. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 03:07, 20 May 2023 (UTC)
- Hello, and thank you for your concern about my userbox. I will admit, I do not know much about Chris Van Hollen, but after reading through his Wikipedia article, I do not see any reason why no other editors would believe that he should be president. While he may have political positions that some editors might disagree with, I do think that there it is certainly possible that some editors think he should be president. However, like I said, I do not know much about him or his policies. If you have a good reason to believe that there won't be any editors who think he should be president, please let me know and I will tag the userbox for speedy deletion as per your suggestion. -- KomradeKalashnikov (talk) 15:54, 20 May 2023 (UTC)

A “this user wants to live in “xxxxxx” userbox idea (This specifically goes on places in Australia, so this is part one of my “this user lives in “******” ideas)
I’m thinking about some ideas of “This user wants to live in *place here*” ideas, although this is in multiple parts, starting with ones for places in Australia. 1. This user wants to live in Sydney (link) 2. This user wants to live in Brisbane (link) 3. This user wants to live in Perth (link) And finally (sorry for short list) 4. This user wants to live in Adelaide. (link) Note that the “(link)” is for the city. Matthew Guite 16:50, 4 June 2023 (UTC)

Hi, would you mind changing that userbox so it doesn't imitate the Nazi flag? Levivich (talk) 13:31, 19 April 2024 (UTC)
- Considering that you and a few other editors at the AN have expressed displeasure with the image in the userbox, I've removed it. Since the discussion at the AN is closed, I'm also going to make the statement here that I had no intention to offend or imply any kind of prejudice when I made the userbox. I am firmly against any and all kinds of discrimination, whether based on race, religion, or otherwise. -- KomradeKalashnikov (talk) 15:50, 19 April 2024 (UTC)
