File permission problem with File:Piet_m_comp2Belgrade.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Piet_m_comp2Belgrade.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-enwikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-enwikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. feydey (talk) 17:23, 8 September 2011 (UTC)

License tagging for File:News-2010-may-radislav krstic 590628385.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:News-2010-may-radislav krstic 590628385.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 12:05, 27 September 2011 (UTC)

Which museum???
[edit]I have moved List of Dutch and Flemish graphics and engravings in the museum to User:Knightserbia/sandbox. Did it occur to you that it might be an idea to include the name of the museum in the title? — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 19:45, 28 September 2011 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Dutch and Flemish graphics and engravings in the National Museum of Serbia
[edit]The article Dutch and Flemish graphics and engravings in the National Museum of Serbia has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- No evidence that the Serbian museum's Dutch art collection is notable
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. [edit]Pozdrav! Radiš lepu stvar, i radiš to dobro, i jako te podržavam! :) Samo da ti pomognem u par stvari. Evo, na primeru:
- Ovo ovde je moja revizija u kojoj sam:
- . Dodao bold naslov.
- <ref>REFERENCA IDE IZMEĐU; ONAKO KAKO SI TI PISAO</ref>
- Pogledaj WP:REFSTART, da bi lepo video kako se pišu reference, a u osnovi se koriste jednostavne oznake:
- I još samo pri dnu stranice
- ==References==
- {{reflist}}
- Gde će se reference pojavljivati, dok u tekstu ostaju samo brojevi.
- . == See also == sekcija, gde se stave članci koji imaju najviše veze sa člankom na kom se nalazimo. Ovde su to ova dva, ali mogu biti i drugačiji, i slično...
- . I na kraju, kategorije.
:) Pozdrav. --WhiteWriter speaks 17:22, 30 September 2011 (UTC)
Translation using Google Translate
[edit]Hello! Doing a nice thing, and doing it well, and really supported you! :) Just to help you in a couple of things. Here, for example:
- This here is my review where I:
- . Added bold headline. Almost always articles on Wikipedia as the first word of a title of the article, so I did, but by tradition.
- . Your excellent references placed in the template to write a reference at wikipedia:
- See WP: REFSTART, it would be nice to see how to write references, and basically use simple phrases:
- <ref> REFERENCE BETWEEN, THE WAY YOU WRITE </ref>
- See WP: REFSTART, it would be nice to see how to write references, and basically use simple phrases:
- And just at the bottom of the page
- ==References==
- {{reflist}}
- Where will the references to appear, while the text will remain just numbers.
- . == See also == section, where you put the articles that have the most to do with the article where we are. Here are the two, but they may be different, and so on ...
- . Finally, the categories. They serve primarily to be somewhere in the article ranked and to know which belongs to the general subject matter.
Well, that's it! If you have any questions, come in, write to my talk page, and I will help as well as I know I can. I am happy that someone wants to write something that is in the best načim Serbia. In that respect, I give the prize to be shared at wikipedia, Barnstar. You put on your user page or something! Go ahead, and culturally with everyone! --WhiteWriter speaks 17:07, 30 September 2011 (UTC)

Hello, Knightserbia, and thank you for your contributions!
Some text in an article that you worked on Massacre in Dobrovoljacka, appears to be directly copied from another Wikipedia article, Sarajevo column case. Please take a minute to double-check that you've properly attributed the source text in your edit summary.
It's entirely possible that this bot made a mistake, so please feel free to remove this notice and the tag it placed on Massacre in Dobrovoljacka at any time. CorenSearchBot (talk) 05:59, 19 January 2012 (UTC)
Photo Ustaše
[edit]I agree with you the photo is disputed, it has wrong discription. It's Domobran, not Ustaše officer. I had discussion abt the photo, you can see a talk page, but it was pointless. If you enter discussion abt the photo, you will have my support.
Cheers.

Hello there, I'm writing to let you know that I've just deleted a sentence from this article, which the revision history tells me was added by you two days ago. The text ran as follows: "Also it is very uncommon that Order reccognized independence of Muslim majority state of Kosovo,where Christians has no basic human and religious rights." I wanted to let you know that I deleted it because I could not understand what the text meant, and also because the second part of the sentence would seem to be a highly contentious claim, which at the very least would require a source and would probably still be a violation of WP:NPOV. In addition, the Kosovo article contains sourced material that seems to contradict the statement directly, since it concerns people in Kosovo converting to Christianity, which would seem unlikely in the event Christians were being persecuted there. I'm telling you this because I didn't want you to think I had come along and deleted your contribution wantonly, and to give you the opportunity to go back and re-phrase the sentence so that it makes sense and is neutral and sourced, if you'd like to do that. Good day! Lordrosemount (talk) 23:32, 10 March 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for your kind message! I understand what you meant now (the fact that the SMOM recognised Kosovo is strange for the reasons you suggested), and I think you're right to leave it deleted, because it seems to be more a matter of opinion than fact. The truth is I don't really know very much at all about Kosovo, Serbia or the SMOM, but I can appreciate that it's a very difficult subject for someone in your country, and it shows maturity to realise that something you've put in was maybe a little hot-headed, and not to take offence at someone removing it. Incidentally, I think I might do a bit of copyediting on a couple of your articles (I was thinking particularly of the National Museum article), just to make the text a little clearer. Please don't mind, or think I'm stalking you, it's just that visiting your page showed me what looks like an opportunity to make a useful contribution. Thanks again! Recent edits to Croatian Spring and Croatian Defence Forces
[edit]Your recent edits to the subject articles were marked as "minor" and did not include edit summaries. Per WP:ES, it is considered good practice to provide a summary for every edit, especially when reverting (undoing) the actions of other editors or deleting existing text; otherwise, people may question your motives for the edit. Accurate summaries help other contributors decide whether it is worthwhile for them to review an edit, and to understand the change should they choose to review it. When a major edit (e.g. deletion of a substantial amount of text, a significant addition, or a substantial rewrite) doesn't have an edit summary, there are fewer reasons to assume good faith and busy editors may be more inclined to revert the change without checking it in detail. Summaries are less important for minor changes (which means generally unchallengeable changes such as spelling or grammar corrections), but a brief note like "fixed spelling" is helpful even then. I note from your edit history that you usually mark your edit as "minor" regardless of the content. It is clear your edits to both of the above articles were not "minor" and they also indicate that you may be pushing a particular point of view. I consider the editing approach you appear to be taking is disruptive, and would like to point out that all articles relating to the Balkans are subject to discretionary sanctions under ARBMAC, which could result in editors being blocked or even banned from WP. Please use edit summaries in future, and only tick the "minor" box when the edit is generally unchallengeable, such as spelling or grammar corrections. Your recent edit of the Siege of Dubrovnik
[edit]Hello. Your recent edit of the Siege of Dubrovnik appeared to be disruptive because you added material to the infobox which is not supported by the referenced prose of the article. Furthermore, your edit was left with no edit summary contrary to the recent instruction regarding need for edit summaries left at your talk page by Peacemaker. Just like back then, it is hard to assume good faith in cases of such edits, especially since the non-summarized edits are used as a way to disrupt a peer-reviewed article. I also consider the editing approach you appear to be taking to be disruptive, and would also like to point out that all articles relating to the Balkans are subject to discretionary sanctions under ARBMAC. Do not add a new content without giving a valid reason for the that in the edit summary. Also provide reliable sources by editing articles. Forums can not be used as sources on Wikipedia. Genetic studies point at lower level of I2a among Serbs ca. 30%. Check for example: Gene. 2012 Jan 31. High levels of Paleolithic Y-chromosome lineages characterize Serbia. [edit]I happened to notice these edits. This is tendentious and I have reverted it because:
- Before WWI, the city was part of the Austrian Kingdom of Dalmatia, but in the war Italy took control, which was reversed within a few years; to refer to that period as "occupied by Italy" is hardly improper.
- During WWII, the claim that "Nazi Germany couldn't [have] occupied their Croatian allies" is wrong, because the NDH existed because of German occupation of Yugoslavia, not the other way around
- During the Yugoslav Wars, the claims that "Federal army or Serbian rebels, never intended to conquer the town" is false because per sourced claims at Battle of Šibenik, they literally had the intention of taking control of the barracks, which is located in the south of the city - taking the barracks from the direction of the northeast, without taking the town, would have been a strange endeavor to say the least.
- Replacing a tourist guide citation in the history section is fine, but unless the claim is actually false, there's a tag for that, {{better source needed}}
I see you were notified of WP:ARBMAC on at least three occasions now, yet you have continued to make these bizarre and tendentious claims. Please be much more careful in the future, or avoid editing in this topic area. Thanks. --Joy [shallot] (talk) 09:47, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
File permission problem with File:Dance around Golden Calf-Belgrade.JPG
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Dance around Golden Calf-Belgrade.JPG. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included.
Thank you. Kelly hi! 12:01, 7 October 2014 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with File:Madonna-and-child-giotto.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Madonna-and-child-giotto.jpg.
This image is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such images would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a screenshot of a computer game or movie. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original image must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.
While the image description page states the source and copyright status of the derivative work, it only names the creator of the original work without specifying the status of their copyright over the work.
Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the original image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other derivative works, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. Thanks again for your cooperation. Kelly hi! 07:58, 8 October 2014 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. Your contributed article, Muslim forces terror in Sarajevo
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Muslim forces terror in Sarajevo. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Bosnian War. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Bosnian War – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.
If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Xender Lourdes (talk) 16:21, 11 March 2016 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Belgrade IT sector
[edit]The article Belgrade IT sector has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- WP:NOTESSAY surely - this sounds very much like someone's opinion of the IT sector in Belgrade
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Gbawden (talk) 11:04, 6 July 2016 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Sava Center Congress Hall.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Sava Center Congress Hall.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted content borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay.
