Yugoslav krone
[edit]Hello, Tomobe03. This is a courtesy notice that the copy edit you requested for Yugoslav krone at the Guild of Copy Editors requests page is now complete. All feedback welcome! Cheers, Baffle☿gab 00:19, 20 October 2024 (UTC) |
- Hi Tomobe03, I've now finished my c/e. Most of the article was straightforward but I rewrote some of the text, particularly the second paragraph of the lede, which i found had some repetitious material, so you might like to check my work in case I have introduced any inaccuracies. I don't think I did though. Cheers, Baffle☿gab 00:19, 20 October 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you Baffle gab1978 for your time and effort. The article prose reads much better now. There's just one thing that seems odd to me, hyphenation in the following segment seems inconsistent and I'm wondering what is missing or extra:
...exchange would be at par, but that was interpreted as meaning krone-at-par for krone and dinar at-par for dinar.
- Cheers--Tomobe03 (talk) 09:25, 20 October 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for pointing that out, I think I made a mistake with "krone-at-par", which I'll go back and fix. I wanted to tie "at-par" to avoid a difficult-to-follow sentence. I can't think of a better way to phrase that sentence though. Cheers, Baffle☿gab 19:24, 20 October 2024 (UTC)

[edit]I am planning to review your GAN for Yugoslav Committee but I would understand if you preferred me not to be involved because of our previous conflict. Borsoka (talk) 02:32, 2 November 2024 (UTC)
- I think it is not appropriate for the nominator to pick the reviewer, but I'd be cautious about (non-)neutrality in cases such as that.--Tomobe03 (talk) 15:41, 10 November 2024 (UTC)
- OK. Yes, neutrality is one of our basic values. Borsoka (talk) 04:06, 11 November 2024 (UTC)

[edit]I'm aware of the project. I've added some previous WW2 articles I created/expanded (1st Split Partisan Detachment, Raid on Šolta, Velimir Škorpik...) to their list but never took the time to actually write myself up as a member. Thanks! --Saxum (talk) 18:51, 11 November 2024 (UTC)
